Services for Huntz Martin, 86, longtime Bridge City resident, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mildred McGaffey
COLMESNEIL - Mildred McGaffey, 79, of Colmesneil died Friday, Feb. 4, 2000, at Vencor Hospital in Dallas.
A native and longtime resident of Port Arthur, she moved to Colmesneil upon retirement from her job as a secretary for the Port Arthur ISD. She also owned the "Gathering Basket" antique shop in Port Arthur.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Riley Funeral Home in Woodville with Rick Eifert officiating. Burial will follow in Colmesneil Family Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Thomas McGaffey of Dallas; and two grandchildren.
Louella Viator Mire
Louella Viator Mire, 75, of Port Acres died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2000, at her home.
A native of Delcambre, La., she was a resident of Port Acres for 45 years. She was owner and operator of Cora Belle's Needle Art. She was a member of Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church in Port Acres.
Arrangements are pending with Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.
Survivors include three daughters, Cynthia McDonald of LaBelle, Velma Powell of Fannett and Barbara Mire of Port Acres; a son, John W. Mire Jr. of Port Neches; a brother, Fernand Viator of Delcambre, La.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

PORT NECHES - Services for Ricky Ramirez, 24, of Port Neches will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Anthony's Cathedral. Burial will follow in Abshier Cemetery in Devers under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Beaumont. A Christian vigil was held Sunday evening at the mortuary.

Services for Pearl Trahan, 94, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Monday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Hunter officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Park under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Monday at the church.

Services for Altia Altamese "AAA" Ambrose, 2, of Port Arthur will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Rock Island Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
