Odie Bell Oswalt
HUNTSVILLE -- Odie Bell Oswalt, 79, of Huntsville died Saturday, July 13, 2002.
A native of San Augustine, she was a former resident of Port Arthur where she was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge No. 1079.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park Chapel in Port Arthur with the Rev. Dennis Ivey officiating under the direction of Huntsville Funeral Home in Huntsville. Burial will follow at Green Lawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home in Huntsville.
Survivors include her daughter Brenda King of Huntsville; three sisters, Velma Windham of Jasper, Irene Litchfield of Cleburn and Sybil Reisner of Louisiana;three granddaughters, Dawneen Michelle Faulk of Port Arthur, Mary Vonne Brame of Huntsville and Shauna Austin of Beaumont;one grandson, Ragan Bourgeois of Huntsville; and six great-grandchildren
Olga Mary Ransonette
NEDERLAND -- Olga Mary Ransonette, 85, of Nederland died Friday, July 12, 2002, at Mid Jefferson Hospital.
A native of Avery Island, La. she lived in the Port Arthur area most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of St. James Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. Walter Montondon officiating under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday with a Rosary at 7 p.m. at the Funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, Harold John 'Red' Ransonette, Jr. of Beaumont, Leonard D. Ransonette of Houston and Wayne P. Ransonette of Nederland; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren.

GROVES -- Mary Eleanor Hathaway Tucker, 80, died Saturday, July 13, 2002, at her home.

Ben Anthony Colletti
Port Arthur - Ben Anthony Colletti of Port Arthur, Texas died Tuesday, December 2, 2003 at Park Place Medical Center emergency room after a sudden illness. He was born April 9, 1954 and was 49 years old. He graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1972 and he also played on the school basketball team. He attended Lamar College receiving training and certification in air conditioning repair and technology. He was marriage to Donna Colletti Dewhurst and had two children, Chris Anthony Colletti and Shanna Marie Colletti Usry.
Service will be at 2:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2003 at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Port Arthur, Texas with Rev. Thuc Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2003 with a rosary service at 6:00pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by his parents, Dr. Ben M. Colletti and Genevieve "Ginger" Colletti of Port Arthur, Texas; daughter, Shanna Marie Colletti Usry of Brandon, Mississippi; son, Chris Anthony Colletti of Oviedo, Florida; sister Nancy Colletti Bradford of Beaumont, Texas; brothers, Sam A. Colletti of Port Neches, Texas, Matthew D. Colletti of Pearland, Texas and Gregory S. Colletti of Dallas, Texas; and grandson Camdon Usry.
Christopher Lee Pinkston
Christopher Lee, 18, went to be with his Father in Heaven on November 29, 2003. Chris was born August 22, 1985, in Tyler, TX. He moved to Houston with his family in 1988, attended school in Alief until 2001, and graduated from Rocky Mountain Academy in Bonner's Ferry, Idaho, in May of 2003.
Chris' time in this earth was short but he lived it his way. He was inquisitive and enjoyed learning about things. He loved a challenge and loved to challenge others. He could accomplish anything he set his mind to. As he approached young manhood, Chris enjoyed the outdoors and spent time hiking and camping in the wilderness. He respected all living things and was a very spiritual young man.
Chris touched many people's lives in a special way and he will be missed by all that knew him and loved him deeply, but his spirit will remain in their hearts forever.
His father, Frank E. Pinkston, preceded him in death. He is survived by his mother, Rachel Pinkston and fiancee', Gary Brown; sister, Erin Roberts and husband Doug; grandparents, Joseph and Dorothy Melanson and Curtis and Zuetta Pinkston of Port Neches. Aunts are Deborah Melanson; Sue Greenway and husband, Jeff, of Port Neches; Uncle; Joe Pinkston of Longview. Cousins: Curtis Pinkston and wife, Jennifer; Kelly Bridges and husband, Lance; and Travis Greenway.
Visitation will be held at Advantage Funeral Home, 7010 Chetwood, Houston, from 7-9 pm on Friday, December 5. Memorial services will be held at Unity Church of Christianity, 2929 Unity Drive on Saturday, December 6 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Unity Church of Christianity Believe and Achieve Campaign, 2929 Unity Drive, Houston, TX 77057 in memory of Chris Pinkston.

Doctor George Charles Swanson, MD., PA, FACS died unexpectedly on the 27th of November in Jacksonville, Florida.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 5, 2003 at 1:00P.M. at St. John Lutheran Church, 4600 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Port Arthur, TX 77642. A gathering of friends will take place from 11:00A.M. to 1:00P.M. at the church before the services. Immediately following the services the family would like to invite all family and friends for a reception at the church to share stories and visit with all those that loved and cared about Dr. Swanson.
