Anne Wilson
Anne Wilson, 81, died Thursday, December 6, 2007, at Brighton Gardens Carmel Valley, San Diego, CA.
Anne was born in Dayton, OH, to Wilhelmina and Carl Eberhart. She graduated in 1948 from Denison University in Granville, OH, with a degree in social work. In 1949, she marriage Gene Wilson in Dayton. She was a former resident of Whitewater, WI and Green Valley, AZ.
Anne enjoyed the theatre, needlepoint, stained glass, gardening and touring the United States. She served several terms as President of the Faculty Dames at Wisconsin State University, Whitewater.
She is survived by her daughters; Barbara Miroslaw, Town of Rome, Adams Co., WI, Martha Arnold, Port Neches, TX and Linda (Doug) Brems, San Diego, CA; grandchildren, Brandon Arnold, Forest Hills, NY, and Dana, Lauren and Andrew Brems, San Diego; her sister, Jean Overholser, Naples, FL; nieces, Gloria (Jeff) LeVay, Garland, TX, Diane Becher, Parrish, FL and Linda Becher, Kettering, OH; and grand-nephews, Jeff (Denise) LeVay, Virginia Beach, VA and Jeremy LeVay, Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother, Richard Eberhart, and her husband, Gene Wilson. In accordance with her wishes, Anne will be inurned with her husband at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery after a memorial service to be held January 18, 2008 at Solana Beach Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gene and Anne Wilson Endowed Theatre Scholarship at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, c/o UW-Whitewater Foundation, 800 W. Main St., Whitewater, WI 53190.

Winona "Nonie" Dyson Traube
Winona "Nonie" Dyson Traube was born December 24, 1916 in Port Arthur to Asa and Lillian Reichelt Dyson. She was a 1934 graduate of Port Arthur High School and graduated from Port Arthur Business College. She worked as a keypunch operator at the Texas Company in Port Arthur where she met her future husband, Clarence Traube. They marriage on October 19, 1945 at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur. She and Clarence celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary in October. Winona was a member of the St. Mary Hospital Auxiliary (Pink Ladies) for over 30 years and was also a member of the St. James Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence who died on November 5th of this year. She is survived by her daughter Joan Ann Gray and husband Albert of Orange TX, and son Michael J. Traube and wife Linda S. of Kingsville, TX. Granddaughters Nancy Ashworth and her husband, Chris; Kathy Jones and her husband, Perry; and Sandra Lane; grandsons David Gray and his wife, Alicia; James Traube and great-grandchildren Brittney Ashworth, Hunter Ashworth, Madelyn Jones, Barron Gray, Darien Mulligan, and Michael R. Traube. Also surviving is her sister-in-law, Elizabeth M. Traube of Tinley Park, IL.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. with a vigil service at 6:30 P.M. at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 2:30 P.M. Sunday, December 23, 2007 in the Thompson Memorial Chapel at Clayton Thompson. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Pall bearers: David Gray, Chris Ashworth, Perry Jones, Jimmy Miller, Dr. Howland Reich III, and Jay Braxton. Honorary Pall Bearer, Thomas Dunlop.
A special thanks to Sincere Gardens Assisted Living for the care and love given to our mother by Sophie and her dedicated staff. Also a special thanks to Professional Health Care Hospice for their loving care of our mother over the last two years.

Charles L. Oubre
PORT NECHES - Charles L. Oubre, 62, of Port Neches, Texas died Friday, December 21, 2007 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas.
Charles was born January 2, 1945 in Port Arthur, Texas to Lucien Joseph Oubre and Genevieve Wassenich Oubre. He was a lifelong area resident and a retired self employed carpenter with 40 years of service. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches, Knights of Columbus #2461 and served in the Army Reserves.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Rev. Bennie Patillo officiating. Entombment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2007 at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Thornell Oubre of Port Neches, Texas; sons, Cullen Oubre and wife, Cherie of League City, Texas; Timothy Oubre and wife, Michelle of Port Neches, Texas; sisters, JoAnn Dubois of San Antonio, Texas; Cleora Terrell and husband, Wayne of Port Arthur, Texas; and Beverly Picton of Port Neches, Texas; and twin granddaughters, Ava Michelle Oubre and Katherine Marie Oubre of Port Neches, Texas.

THOMAS WALTER EMMONS
Funeral services for Thomas Walter Emmons, 58, of Buna will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment following in Morse Cemetery in Buna. Visitation will be 5 pm to 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Emmons died December 21, 2007 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.
Born in Beaumont, Thomas was a lifelong resident of Buna. He was a route salesman.
Survivors include wife Connie Gauthier Emmons of Buna; mother Virginia Emmons of Buna; sisters Carol Emmons of Buna, Mary Katherine Isaaks of High Island, Katie Moore of Lumberton and Linda Brazzil of High Island and numerous nieces and nephews.

Stacy C. Johnson
PORT ARTHUR - Stacy Caribe Johnson departed this life on Wednesday, January 30, 2008. He was born April 4, 1975 to Brenda Hayes and the late Donald Johnson, Sr. in Galveston, Texas. Stacy was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, Texas.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 10 am - 12 pm at Mount Sinai Baptist Church with funeral services immediately following. Rev. Randy Vaughn will be officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother and step-father, Brenda and Tilton Hayes; grandmother, Nettie Bias of Crowley, LA; his fiancé, Serena Williams of Houston, TX; three sons, Blake of Houston, TX, Stacy Jr. and Donald of Port Arthur, TX; two brothers, Donald Johnson, Jr. (D.J.) and Welden (Ray) Johnson both of Port Arthur, TX; one sister, Shawn Rideaux of Port Arthur, TX.
Rory Rashard Parker
PORT ARTHUR - Rory Rashard Parker, 18, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2008. He was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and attended Travis Elementary, Edison Middle School, Memorial Ninth Grade Center. Rory was a senior at Memorial High School and a member of the New Jerusalem Baptist Church. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Rock Island Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Troy Hopkins. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
He leaves to join his mother, Zaneta Comeaux; grandfather, Jerry Comeaux and great-grandfathers, R.B. Jones and Daniel Prevost. He is survived by his father, Rory Parker; brother, Dory Parker; and sisters, Chasity Comeaux and Tashira Parker all of Port Arthur; grandmothers, Gladys Chaney of Port Arthur and Judy Comeaux of Houston; grandfather, James Parker and special grandfather, Jerry "PaPa" Chaney both of Port Arthur; great-grandmothers, Rosa Provost of Houston, Halretha Jones of Port Arthur and Mildred Hunt of Lufkin; aunts, Michelle Thibodeaux of Beaumont and Corliss Comeaux of Waxahachie; nephews, Issac Trice and Kaleb Moore both of Port Arthur and a host of family, close friends, and classmates.
Rory will be greatly missed but never forgotten. Now, we can be assured that he is resting on the other side with the Father in Heaven.
Elva Elouise Warner
GROVES - Elva Elouise Warner, 85, of Groves, Texas died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Renaissance Hospital in Groves.
Elva was born April 26, 1922 in Hoy, Louisiana to Irwin McCutcheon and Effie Young McCutcheon. She was a lifelong Groves resident and member of First Baptist Church of Groves. She was a retired clerk from Groves Pharmacy with 12 years of service and a member of Groves Eastern Star Chapter #953. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 8, 2008 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Pat Cammarata, Reverend Charles Miller and Dr. Joe Worley officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Warner and brother, Leon McCutcheon. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Garlington and husband, Alfred of Grant, LA, Sharon Terrell and husband, John of Groves, TX, Candy Harrison and husband, Darron of Groves, TX; son, Billy Warner of Groves, TX; sister, Norma Geraldine Cole and husband, Bill of Groves, TX; seven grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
