LINDA JEAN WILLIS 61, of Reno, died at 6:55 AM, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at her home. No memorial service is scheduled at this time and cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home.
Linda was born June 15, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Alvie Lee and Bessie Hackney Luker. She married
Jimmie Ray Willis September 6, 1978 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and member of The Lighthouse Church.
Linda is survived by her husband, Jimmie Willis; seven children, Mickey Janelle Killingsworth, Alvie Ray Killingsworth, Debbie Jean Killingsworth, Rhonda Charleen Killingsworth, Lavina Kay Killingsworth, Paul Dewayne Killingsworth, and Linda Charleen Willis; several grandchildren including Caleb, Rodney, Tanner, and Macey Killingsworth, Lutisha, Carla, and Jimmie Carl Butler, Mandy Adams, and Jordan and Sydney Garrett. She was preceded in death by two children, Linda Denice Killingsworth and Reba Faye Killingsworth; and one granddaughter, Bobbie Sue Butler.

MATTIE ESTELLE MATLOCK CRAVENS 70, known to all who loved her as “Sissy”, of Brookston, died at 9:13 PM, Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Paris Regional Medical Center North. A graveside service is set for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at Red Hill cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Millsap officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 PM, Monday evening at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Estelle was born August 28, 1939 in Memphis, Texas to James Richard and Rovena Akins Matlock. She married
Donald Royce Cravens on April 1, 1970 in Paris. She was a homemaker and member of Life Community Church.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Cravens of Brookston; six children, Gary Don Black, James Ralph Black, Tammy Black, Dwayne Black, Robert Black, and Grayson Black, all of the Paris area; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three brothers, J.W. Matlock of Blossom, Earnest Lee Matlock of Paris, J.R. Matlock of Paris; and five sisters, Patsy Matlock Plant of Balch Springs, Joyce Ann Matlock Smith of Cunningham, Donna Matlock of Paris, Vickie Matlock Hall of Reno, and Violet Matlock Johnson of Paris. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Billy Wayne Black.
Honorary pallbearers will be Grayson Black, Gary Black, Johnny Smith, Jeff Hall, Chuck Darden, Charles Hicks, Todd Anglin, and Jamie Smith.
Marjorie Robison

Mrs. Marjorie A. Robison, 78, of Paris passed away peacefully April 3, 2010 in Dubuis Hospital surrounded by her family.
She was born on April 30, 1931 in Paris, Texas the daughter of William Van Cox, Sr. & Lottie Belle Adcock Cox. Marjorie was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and was a longtime volunteer with the St. Joseph’s Auxillary. She was a gifted artist, cake maker and loved arts and crafts.
On February 22, 1948 she married
Burl P. Robison at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother William Van “Bill” Cox, Jr..
Survivors include children Felicia Lamb and husband, Dennis of Douglassville, Alan W. Robison and wife, Mary of Abilene, Jeannie Parks and husband, Donald of Reno, Julie Sugg and husband, Keith of Sumner; adopted daughter Cathie Hedrick and husband Dave, of Tyler; grandchildren Thomas Calvery, Anna Fowler, Ryan Lamb, Justin Lamb, Stacy Holt, Mac Robison, Alexandra Robison, Chris Parks, Candice Parks, Corey Parks, Pamela Thompson, Eric Sugg and Austin Sugg; 14 great grandchildren; number of nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 7, 2010 in Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Father Seamus Rowland as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Evergreen cemetery. Rosary will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening in the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with visitation following.

KELLY WAYNE FLOYD 80, of Gun Barrel City, Texas, died Friday, April 2, 2010 at East Texas Medical Center in Athens, Texas. Funeral services are set for 12:00 noon, Tuesday, April 6, 2010 in the chapel of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hutchison officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time prior to the service. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Kelly was born on January 5, 1930 to Earl Kelly and Lillian Floyd. He was the last child of 10 siblings that were born and raised in the local area. Mr. Floyd worked in construction, automobile sales and home sales prior to his retirement.
Mr. Floyd is survived by his wife, Dorothy Floyd of Gun Barrel City, Texas; three children, Kenneth and Lanesa Floyd of Durant, Oklahoma, Becky and Gary Stephenson of Killeen, Texas, and Margaret and Dickie Foster of Krum, Texas; ten grandchildren, Christy, Lisa, Julie, Joel, Britni, Derek, Rachel, Rodney, Dickie Lee and Randy; twelve great-grandchildren and extended family members and his beloved dog, Timmy. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-grandson, Brayden Lane Foster.

Michael was born April 25, 1966 in Tulare, California to Billy Raymond and Minnie Pearl Laird Heard. He was a truck driver by trade.
Michael is survived by his mother and step-father, Minnie and Fred Grant of Paris; four sisters, Susan Gonzales and husband, Manuel of Dallas, Pam Coker and husband, Jeff of Powderly, Paula Coburn and husband, Richard of Paris, and La-Rhonda Reyes and husband, Bobby of Paris; eight nieces and nephews, Britannee, Joseph, Phillip Sammuel, Matthew, Josh, Suzzane, Destiny, and Dakota. He was preceded in death by his father.

BONNIE LENNON KNOWLES 80, of Honey Grove, passed away peacefully at 4:25 PM, Thursday, April 1, 2010 after an extended battle with Alzheimer’s Disease and was surrounded by her grandsons and family at Raider Ranch Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lubbock, Texas. Funeral services are set for 11:00 AM, Monday, April 5, 2010 at Allen’s Point Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Fortenberry and Kevin Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Allen’s Point cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00-4:00 PM Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
Bonnie was born on July 20, 1929 in Hopkins County, Texas, and was the oldest child of Lute and Mary Lennon. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and grandmother, Bonnie devoted her entire life to the service of her family, church and community.
Her husband Dan, whom she married
on January 31, 1948, played major roles in the growth of the Allen’s Point Community in the mid to late 20th century. They helped organize and grow a community that earned statewide recognition as one of the best in Texas and were instrumental in the construction of the Allen’ Point Community Center and Allen’s Point Baptist Church that are in use today.
Bonnie was most at home when in the country surrounded by cattle and horses and she was an integral part of her husband’s ranching operation, which at one time was one of the largest in the area. Following her husband’s death in 1987, she maintained a small cattle operation with the help of longtime family friend Mac Wilson for several years.
Bonnie’s devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was immense as she spent 27 years as the church clerk and 50 years as a Sunday school teacher at Allen’s Point Baptist Church. She was honored for her service to Christ by the church body on September 21, 2003.
An avid sports fan, Bonnie loved the Honey Grove Warriors, the North Lamar Panthers, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the New York Yankees and the Cleveland Indians.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Knowles Beal; husband, Dan Knowles; father, Lute Lennon; mother, Mary Lennon; and a brother, Jack Lennon.
She leaves behind two grandsons, Blayne and Brandt Beal; two brothers, Clinton Lennon and wife, Barbara and Lane Lennon and wife, Brenda; nieces, Kristin Lennon, Lynette Lennon and Paula Ray; and nephews, Kip Knowles, Rodney Lennon, Brian Lennon, Todd Lennon, Dustin Lennon, Doug Lee, Chad Lennon, Brad Lennon, Britt Lennon and Kerry Lennon.

ANTHONY G. GIBSON 56, of Paris, died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 at his home. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home. No services are scheduled at this time.
Mr. Gibson was born September 18, 1953 in Paris to Andrew Grady and Thelma Pauline Meredith Gibson. He served in the Unites States Navy and was a truck driver.
Mr. Gibson is survived by two brothers, Fred Gibson and wife, Betty of Paris and Jack Gibson of Longview; two nieces and one nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Juandelle Cochran and an infant brother.

Carl E. Waggoner, 44 of Paris, passed away Saturday, March 27, 2010 in Plano, Texas.
A graveside service has been scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at Evergreen cemetery with Rev. Jerry Waggoner officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. The family will be gathering at 105 4th N.W. in Paris.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly Waggoner; children, Kaitlyne Waggoner, Steven Waggoner, Shawn Waggoner, Kevin Waggoner and wife Jazmin; step-children, Ryan Baeza, Alicia Baeza, Amber Baeza, Matthew Baeza; grandchildren, Kaidyn, Brooklyn, Traehlan, Javiar, Jane, Christian, Alliana, Ethan, Cannan, Kylie and Jade; sister, Christina Waggoner.

James J. Mason, 42, of Grand Prairie passed away Sunday May 23, 2010. James was born June 26, 1967 in New York a son of James F. and Patricia Mayer Mason. He was lead tech for Firestone and was a member of Evangel Temple AKA Fellowship of Joy.
He married
Brenda Vaughan on July 16, 1988 in Grand Prairie. She survives. James is also survived by his children Justin Mason, Colten Mason, and a niece that he raised Brittany Vaughan; grandson Landon Vaughan; mother Patricia Mason; brothers Patrick Mason and wife Monica and David Mason and wife Aurdrey; nieces and nephews Erik Mason, Joey Mason, Jami Mason, Julie Mason, Olivia Mason; mother-in-law and father-in-law Louise and Joe Vaughan. He was preceded in death by his father James F. Mason and a nephew Ethan Mason.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Fellowship of Joy 300 W. Pioneer Parkway in Grand Prairie with Rev. Guy Shafer and Rev. Scott Camp officiating. Burial will follow in the Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Fellowship of Joy.
