BOGATA — Gerlyn Gray, of Bogata died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2007, in Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in the First Baptist Church of Bogata with the Rev. Don Shovan, the Rev. Bob Posey and Dr. Charles Ashby officiating. Burial follows in Bogata cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
The family receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church.
Obeda Henson Sisco
Obeda Henson Sisco, 80, of Paris, formerly of Denver City, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Friday, Nov. 19, 2004.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 22, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with her son-in-law, Carl Haggard, officiating. Burial follows in Denver City Memorial Park.
There will be no family visitation hour observed. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Mirando City on May 22, 1924, to Chelsea and Jesse Lee McMillan Henson. She attended Eagle Pass High School. On Dec. 15, 1944, she married
Earl Randall Sisco of the U.S. Coast Guard. They lived in Denver City for more than 40 years where they had a grocery store and later a Bargain Center. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and served in the women’s auxillary of Yoakum County Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents; two sisters, Berniece Burnett and Danna Petit; two brothers, Raymond and C.H. Henson; and a granddaughter, Megan Sisco.
She is survived by three children, Randi Haggard of Paris, Wesley Sisco of Las Vegas, Nev., and Ginger Cook of Paris; six grandchildren, Marcie Haggard Mitcham, Barrett Haggard, Stephen Haan, Travis Haan, Eric Haan and Chrissy Sisco; two great-grandsons, Dillon Van Cleave and Jacob Mitcham; sister, Carol Henson of Dallas; and five brothers, William, Douglas, Thurman and Wayne Henson, all of San Angelo, and Berlin Henson of Tyler.
She loved the Lord, her family, her country, and her many friends, who so lovingly helped her in her battle with cancer. If desired, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
Porter Allen Parham
Porter Allen Parham, 82, of Paris died Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Carter Lyles officiating. Burial follows in Evergreen cemetery.
There will be no formal family visitation hour observed. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.
He was born Sept. 24, 1922, in Petty to Herman and Jo Waits Parham Sr. He attended Roxton schools and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He married
Olive G. Thomas on May 6, 1944, in Hugo, Okla. He was a carpenter and member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive, on Oct. 16, 1972; his parents; and three brothers, Charles Parham, Herman Parham Jr. and Paul Parham.
He is survived by two sons, Wayne Parham and his wife, Linda, of Garretts Bluffs and Dan Parham of Paris; and three grandsons, Thomas, Bryan and Daniel Parham.
Seldon L. Medford
CLARKSVILLE — Seldon L. Medford, 93, of Clarksville died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2007, in Clarksville Nursing Center.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, in the 2nd Baptist Church in Lamesa. Burial follows in Lamesa Memorial cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.

IRVING — Myrtle Morgan, 86, of Irving passed away Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004.
Funeral services are set for 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at New Horizon Bible Believers Worship Center, 1026 S. Beckley Ave., Dallas, followed by graveside services at 4 p.m. in Fairland Littlejohn cemetery.

Wanda Jo Roland Spinks
DALLAS — Wanda Jo Roland Spinks, 73, of Rowlett, passed from this life Friday, Dec. 3, 2004.
Memorial services are set for 12:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 6, at Eastgate Funeral Home. Burial follows in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
The family received friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
She was born Feb. 17, 1931, in Dial. She loved working in her flower gardens. She had worked for Kraft Foods in Garland for a number of years and Campbell Soup, until her retiring and moving to Rockwall. She also had grew up in Honey Grove.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Spinks; children, Larry Don Martin and wife, Debbie, Kirk Roland Martin; step-son, Mike Spinks and wife, Patti, Donna Freestone and husband, Ronnie; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Jack and husband, Gerald and former husband Donald Martin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Lallie Pearl Morris
CLARKSVILLE — Lallie Pearl Morris, 97, of Clarksville died Sunday, Dec. 5, 2004 in Clarksville Nursing Center.
Funeral services are set for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Lindeman Chapel with Bill Whiteman officiating. Burial follows in Boxelder cemetery under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
The family receives friends from 12 p.m. until service time on Tuesday.
She was born May 20, 1907 in Red River County, the daughter of Walter and Beulah Stout Fogleman. She did alterations for The Hub. She was a member of Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey “Mike” Morris; one son, James Darnell Morris.
Survivors include her sons, Bob Morris of Salina, Kan., Jerry Morris of Tomball; daughters, Betty Blaisdell of Lake Dallas, Linda Gruver of Plano; sisters, Mary Blair of Clarksville, Magdeline Jones of Beaumont; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Corene Wester
DEPORT — Corene Wester, 94, formerly of Cunningham died Sunday Dec. 5, 2004 in East Texas Medical Center in Clarksville.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8, in Martin Memorial Methodist Church in Detroit with the Rev. John Pinkston officiating. Burial follows in Detroit cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 19, 1910 in Cunningham, the daughter of William Wesley and Florence Edna Allen Norwood. Her first husband, Dan Southerland preceded her in death. She later married
Charles Morseman who preceded her in death in 1966. She retired from Cole of California Clothing Co. in 1962 after working there for 20 years.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Charlie Morseman; a grandson, Daniel Sinclair; a granddaughter, Misty Morseman; four brothers, Roscoe, Jack, Almer and Charlie Norwood and a sister, Robbie Mae Norwood.
She is survived by three daughters, Robbie Lee Pynes and husband, Lindsey, of Texarkana, Joyce Dean Edwards and husband, Richard, of Apple Valley, Calif. and Charlene Miller and her husband, James, of Detroit; 15 grandchildren; one sister, Juanita Montgomery of Seal Beach California.
Betty Jane Jones
Betty Jane Jones, 71, of Paris died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in Paris Regional Medical Center.
Services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 6, in Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home. Private interment followed under the direction of Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home.
Voy Harmon Jr.
Voy Harmon Jr., 77, of Paris died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, in Paris Regional Medical Center.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, in Mount Tabor cemetery with the Rev. Tim Young officiating. Services are under the direction of Gene Roden’s Sons Funeral Home.
He was born Oct. 16, 1927 in Paris, the son of Voy Monroe and Willie Morris Harmon. He was a retired mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Juanita Briggle.
Survivors include his daughter, Deborah Turner of Paris; daughter, Sharon Harmon Saucedo of Paris; sons, Gayle Harmon of Athens, Perry Harmon of Paris and Danny Harmon of Paris; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
