CLARKSVILLE - Bud Kemp, 89, Rt. 1, Clarksville, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998, at East Texas Medical Center, Clarksville.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in Westside Church of Christ with Lin Helton and James Rennaker officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Rosewood cemetery in Achille, Okla. Clarksville Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Kemp was born April 14, 1909, in Kemp, Okla., to Dave and Gertie Lee Kemp. He was retired from the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and as a professional bull and bronc rider. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ, Rodeo Alumni Association, Rodeo Historical Society, and 101 Ranch Society. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ernestine Kemp, and by a brother. He married
Nell Heasley April 14, 1981, in Nocona.
Surviving are his wife; a son, Robert Kemp of Flower Mound; two stepdaughters, Kay McGrann of Bedford and Linda LaJara of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Slim Hulen, Bob Adair, Richard Harvey, J.D. Fagan, Jessie Fox, Lin Helton, Ernest Witmer, and Jim McCreary. Honorary bearers will be Bruce Bland, Marion Mitchell, Walter Bledsoe, Leonard Fuller, Bob Christopherson, Tommy Bolin, Billy Bob Brackeen, Joe Blakeney, John Segleski, Jim Clark, Claude Davison, Bill Lockwood, Guy Beers, Lee Cooper, Louis Quirk, Johnny Jamison, Bruce Emery, Donald Kirk, and Bill Shirley.
Mildred "Mimmie' Todd
LADONIA - Mildred "Mimmie" Todd, 85, of Ladonia died Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center, Paris.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at First Baptist Church of Ladonia with the Rev. Bob Posey and Guille Seigler officiating. Burial will be in New Harmony cemetery by Delta Funeral Home of Ladonia. Visitation will be Wednesday night at the funeral home.
Surviving are two sons, Tommy Don Runnels of Ladonia and Bobby Singleton of Sulphur Springs; a daughter, Linda Singleton Mann of Ladonia; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Her husband, Walter C. Todd, died Jan. 10, 1989. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Wayne Watson.
Miriam A. Jackson
Miriam A. Jackson, 65, died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, in Harris Hospital, Fort Worth.
Services were Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Mt. Olivet Chapel in Fort Worth.
She was born March 6, 1943, in Blossom to Joseph and Beatrice Batch. She married
Reginald Jackson Dec. 20, 1952.
Surviving are her husband; daughter, Regina Jackson; sons, Mark A. and Monty R. Jackson; four grandchildren; sisters, Rachel Pyron and Fannie White of Oklahoma, Nancy Dunlap and Betty Flowers of Fort Worth; brothers, Jessie Batch of Oklahoma; Wesley Batch of Blossom and J.B. Batch of San Angelo. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruby Long and Ruth Thompson; and a brother, Frank Batch.
Hanna Corine Weddle
DEPORT - Hanna Corine Weddle, infant daughter of Randy and Diane White Weddle of Pattonville, died at birth Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1998.
Wood Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, in Morris Chapel cemetery in Rugby.
Surviving are the parents; a sister, Mandy Weddle of the home; grandmother and her husband, Janett and Charles Chafin of Deport, and grandmother, Betty White of Pattonville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Bennie Weddle and Dwayne White.

Willis "Bub" Teal
Willis "Bub" Teal, 81, died Thursday, Nov. 26, 1998, in Tulsa, Okla.
He was born in Paris Jan. 16, 1917, to Wallace and Emma Akins Teal.
Surviving is a sister, Oletha Teal of Paris.
Funeral services will be Thursday, Dec. 3, in Tulsa.
Mayola Thompson
HONEY GROVE - Funeral services for Mayola Thompson, a resident of the Forest Hill Community, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 1998, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home. The Rev. Bob Lee, longtime family friend and former pastor, and the Rev. Russ Noland, pastor of Forest Hill United Methodist Church, officiated. Burial was in Forest Hill cemetery.
Pallbearers were her grandson, Jerry Clark and nephews, Bob Rast, Jimmy Gullion, Bill Strother, Curtis Adams, Curtis Adams Jr., Don Gordon and Bob Thompson.
Honorary bearers were the sons of George Cullum, Arthur Halliburton, Charles Rogers, Bill Welch and Ray White, longtime family friends.
Mrs. Thompson died Saturday, Nov. 28, 1998, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center after a lengthy illness.

Louie Ray Melton
HONEY GROVE - Louie Ray Melton, 84, of the Dial community died at Richardson Medical Center Sunday morning, Nov. 29, 1998.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at Dial Baptist Church with the Rev. Alan Stoddard officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery by Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home with deacons of Dial Baptist Church serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Melton was born March 30, 1914, in the Dial community to Cleve and Ollie Mann Melton. He was a farmer-rancher in the Dial community where he lived his entire 84 years. He was recently honored for his community efforts in helping the Dial area obtain a water supply. He actively served in the life of his community until his death. His greatest joy was leading music for 67 years at Dial Baptist Church where he was presently chairman of the deacons.
Mr. Melton, also called Louie, L.R. Grandaddy, Dada, and Meltie, will be missed greatly by family and friends.
Louie Ray was preceded in death last year by his wife of 59 years, Edna. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Sue Melton of College Station; a daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Fred Ellis of Richardson; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Glenda Melton Crafton of Lubbock; and several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials be made to Dial Baptist Church or a memorial of choice.
Stella Lorene Hohenberger
HONEY GROVE - Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998, Stella Lorene Hohenberger joined our Heavenly Father in the land of paradise. She will have a special place rewarding her for all the special things she accomplished while on earth.

Stella Lorene was born Sept. 19, 1923, in the McCraws Chapel community to A.P. and Stella Webb Williams. She was a Baptist. She married
Delmer Hohenberger Oct. 11, 1941, in Hugo, Okla. He died Nov. 20, 1970. She was also preceded in death by a son, Ronnie Hohenberger.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Luther and Diane Hohenberger of Sulphur Springs and Fred and Debbie Hohenberger of Maxey; a daughter and son-in-law, Janet and James Leinweber of San Antonio; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Magnes Williams; three sisters, Norma Dean Strickland, Wanda Helm and Phillis Bradshaw; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Harvey Hohenberger, Harvey Hohen-berger Jr., Garland Stanford, Mickey Barnes, L.W. Hohen-berger, and Bobby King.
Helen Louise Walker Mabry
Helen Louise Walker Mabry, 65, of Commerce, formerly of Lamar County died Friday, Nov. 27, 1998, at Baylor Hospital, Dallas.
Services will be at at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, in First Baptist Church, Cooper with Elder Rondie Williams officiating. Maxey Funeral Home will make burial in New Home cemetery, Cooper.
Surviving are two brothers, Junior Jernigan of Cooper and Leon Jernigan of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Mabry.
Pallbearers will be R.T. Reynolds, Joe Thomas, John Adair, Billy Reynolds, Leroy Thomas. and George Henry.
