CLARKSVILLE - Baylee Lynn Brown, seven-weeks-old infant daughter of Kendell and Stephanie Brown, Rt. 1, Bagwell, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at her home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. James Brown officiating. Burial will be Youngs Chapel cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born April 7, 2000, in Mount Pleasant.
Other than the parents, surviving are grandparents, Donnie and Melba Brown of Clarksville, Alice and T.W. Morrow of Bagwell and Robbie Collins of Bogata; great-grandparents, Eddie and Linda Edmondson of Bogata, Bill and Sarah Collins of Daingerfield, and Pauline Wiliams of Bogata; and a brother, Matthew Kendell Brown of Bagwell.
Michael Ramsey and Randy Smith will be pallbearers.
Ona Lee Trussell
CLARKSVILLE - Ona Lee Turssell, 98, of Clarksville died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at East Texas Medical Center.
Clarksville Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Harris Chapel cemetery with the Rev. Mark Gossett officiating. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Surviving are sons Claude Ray Trussell of Rockwall, Felix Turssell of Lake Charles, La., and Royce Trussell of Azusa, Ga.; daughter, Lona Trussell of Clarksville; a brother, Pat Westfall and wife Betty of Clarksville; a sister-in-law, Lynnie Westfall of Clarksville; and four grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah Turssell, and a son.
Mary Burkett Northcutt
CLARKSVILE - Mary Burkett Northcutt, 92, of Clarksville died Tuesday, May 30, 2000, in Monroe, La.
Services were at 3 p.m. Friday, June 2, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Northcutt officiating. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.
Surviving are sons, Marshall Northcutt of Odessa and Bobby Northcutt of Sparta, Ga.; daughters, Betty Williams of Detroit, Jewel Prewitt of Stroud, Okla., Glenda Allen of Olla, La., and Martha Wright of San Antonio; a brother, H.W. Dub Burkett of Avery; 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchiuldren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Northcutt, Aug. 4, 1981; grandson, Larry Prewitt in 1969 and granddaughters, Teresa Joy Allen and Rita Darlene Allen in 1993, and Mary Bob Williams in 1998.
Larry Clifton McGill
Larry Clifton McGill, 87, died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at Calvary United Methodist Church with the Rev. Gifford Long officiating. Bright-Holland Funeral Home will make burial in Red Oak cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
He was born April 27, 1917, in Red River County to James Madison McGill and Dora Mauldin McGill. He married
Ethel Rogers Oct. 3, 1937, in Clarksville. He was an automobile mechanic and was a certified technican with Chevrolet. He was a lover of horses and loved to ride with his many friends. He will be missed by his family and his friends.

Nora Marie Thrasher
COOPER - Nora Marie Thrahser, 101, of Klondike, died Wednesday, May 31, 2000, at Birchwood Manor Nursing Home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at Klondike Baptist Church with Terry Bryan officiating. Delta Funeral Home will make burial in Shiloh cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thrasher was born Feb. 21, 1899, in Cumby to Edd Currin and Allie Lou Smith Currin. She was a retired public school teacher, teaching for 42 years. She was a lifelong resident of the Klondike/Cooper area, a member of the Klondike Baptist Church, and Order of the Easter Star in Cooper.
She married
Ranie C. Thrasher in 1926. He died in 1970.
Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Bernice A. Thrasher of Titusville, Fla.; a brother, William Walter Currin of Humble; two sisters, Nell King of Dallas and Erma Jean Craft of Mesquite; a grandson, Donald Thrasher of Warner Robins, Ga.; and two great-grandchildren, Brandon Ashworh Thrasher and Lindsay Marie Thrasher. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Edd Thrasher, in July 1974.

Henrietta B. Ryland
Henrietta B. Ryland, 89, died Sunday, May 28, 2000 at Daniel Freeman Medical Center, Los Angeles. She was a native of Lamar County.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at Maxey Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Benjamin Nickerson officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Garden cemetery.
Surviving are many cousins, including Robert Harris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian J. Ryland.

COOPER - Waldon C. McKinney Sr., 77, of Paris died Thursday, June 1, 2000, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; sons, W.C. McKinney and wife Betty of Paris, Brady McKinney and wife Teresa of Cumby and Joel McKinney and wife Diane of North Richland Hills; stepchildren, Dwain Andrus, Vicki Lucas and Kim West; sister, Lucille Hill of Fort Worth; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Louise Bradford McKinney.

COOPER - James Walter Holcomb, 83, of Paris died Monday, May 29, 2000, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Klondike Oct. 15, 1916, to Emmitt and Mamie Harrison Holcomb. He was a retired contractor. His wife, Oleta Poteet Holcomb, died Oct. 5, 1995.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Carolyn Holcomb of Paris.

Pauline Hutson
BOGATA - Pauline Hutson, 89, of Bogata died Monday, May 29, 2000, in Red River Health Care Center in Bogata.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bob Posey and the Rev. Park Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Bogata cemetery by Wood Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hutson was born July 16, 1910, in Red River County near the Morris Chapel community to Ben and May Parker Ward. Her husband, Elmer Hutson, preceded her in death Aug. 10, 1964. She was a retired public school teacher retiring from Bogata school in 1972 where she had taught the preceding 20 years. She had also taught school at Lone Oak, Hagansport, and McCrury schools. She was a long time active member of First Baptist Church of Bogata where she taught the Adult Willing Workers Sunday School Class for many years.
Surviving are a son, Jerry Hutson and his wife Paula, one granddaughter, Kelly Stickland and her husband Brian; and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Lucah Strickland, all of Mesquite; one brother, Lindsey Ward of Bogata; two sisters, Virginia Wright of Carlsbad, N.M., and Doris Murphy of Eastland. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille Kokernot and Dorothy Ward, and a brother, Ben Ward Jr.
