BOGATA - George Ranie Young, 86, of Frankston, formerly of Cuthand, died Monday, May 29, 2000, in Frankston Health Care Center.
Wood Funeral Home of Bogata will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Cuthand cemetery with the Rev. Park Robertson officiating. Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Young was born Sept. 19, 1913, in Cuthand to George Washington and Alzora Crittenton Young. He was a veteran of World War II and was a retired groceryman.
Surviving are a son, George Young Jr. and his wife Charlotte of Flint; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Sam Young of Colmesiel, Texas; one sister, Jeneva Moore of Slaton, and his former wife, Ila Belle Dempsey Young of Gorman. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Peggy Sue Young.
Douglas Ray Perkins
Douglas Ray Perkins, 65, formerly of Paris, died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at his home in Dallas.
Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Hickory Grove cemetery with the Rev. Bill Draper officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
He was born July 1, 1934, in Lamar County to Emmit and Flora Mae Gill Perkins. He was a member of the Army National Guard, a retired maintenance worker, and a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are brothers, Billy Mack Perkins and wife Shirley of Fairfield, Calif., Bobby Perkins and wife Sherri of Dallas, Earnest Perkins and wife Pat of Dallas; sisters, Dorothy Perkins Roberts and Wanda Perkins Armstrong, both of Paris, and several nieces and nephews. HONEY GROVE - Chester Lee Fields, 95, of Sulphur Springs, formerly of Windom, died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at the home of his granddaughter.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 1, at Windom Methodist Church with the Rev. Sam Campbell and the Rev. Albert Fisher officiating. Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home will make burial in Windom cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are a daughter, Margie Mathis of Porterville, Calif.; granddaughter, Linda Ray of Sulphur Springs; four great-grandchildren, Irwin Carr and Isaac Carr, both of Sulphur Springs, Tommy Kindle of Porterville, Calif., and Leigh Ann Colwell of Greenville.
Mildred Lois Ainsworth Shaw
COOPER -Mildred Lois Ainsworth Shaw, 83, of Klondike died Sunday, May 28, 2000, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center, Paris.
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Delta Funeral Home with Charles Strickland and Jimmy Rose officiating. Burial was in Shiloh cemetery.
Surviving are a son and his wife, Marion and Pat Ainsworth of Cooper; stepson, Clifford Shaw of Mendicino, Calif.; daughter and her husband, Kay and Lenton Moore of Commerce; daughter, Kathy Shaffer of Klondike; sister, Nadella Hooten of Commerce; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Archie Marion Ainsworth and Edgar P. "Bill" Shaw.

CLARKSVILLE - Giles Coye Hastings, 97, of Bagwell died Monday, May 29, 2000, at his home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Dr. Wilbur Simmons and the Don Shovan officiating. Burial will be in Blanton Creek cemetery. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Surviving are his wife, Juanita Lee Hastings; sons, James Hastings of Bodcaw, Ark., Ray Hastings of Detroit and Bobby Hastings of Electra; a daughter, Phillis Townes of Detroit; two nephews, nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Minnie Winningham
HONEY GROVE - Minnie Winningham, 94, of Honey Grove died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center, Paris.
Services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Clarice Banker officiating. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery.
She was born Dec. 20, 1905, in Selfs to Lawrence Albert and Aubrey Gilchrist. She was a retired school teacher.
Surviving are a son, Neal Winningham of the home; a nephew whom she reared, Henry Oliver Tyler; and several other nieces and nephews.
Lola Pearl Fellers
Lola Pearl Fellers, 91, of Paris died Saturday, May 27, 2000, at a Paris hospital.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 31 at Quanah Memorial Park.
She was born Sept. 15, 1908, in Honey Grove to Edgar Dee and Eva Leora Gilchrist Winningham. She and William Ira Fellers were married
April 15, 1931. He died Nov. 24, 1973. She taught school at Williams High and Hooleyann high schools for many years and was a nurses aid at Hardeman County Memorial Hospital for 20 years. She had made her home with a niece, Marie Love of Paris, for the past five years.
Surviving are a brother, Alvie Winningham of Honey Grove; sister, Olga Rollins of Vernon; two grandchildren; a niece Marie Love, and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Art Study Club Scholarship or Tipton's Children's Home.

Ruth Bledsoe Jones, 80, of Roxton died Monday, May 29, 2000, at Landmark Nursing Home, Richardson.

She was born June 28, 1918, in Roxton to Shelby and Gertrude Shelton Bledsoe. Her husband, Loyd Jones, died Dec. 24, 1970. She was a homemaker.

Andrew Arnold "Andy' Robbins, 81, of Paris died at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 28, 2000, at his home.
Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home will conduct graveside services at 2 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Evergreen cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Clements officiating. The family will be at the home of Mr. Robbins' sister, Novelle Fagan, 1034-19th NW, in Paris.
Mr. Robbins was born Dec. 2, 1918, in Leary to John William and Effie Reath Winn Robbins. He was an interior decorator for many years before his retirement. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW, and an active supporter of Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a Baptist.
Surviving are his sister, Novelle Robbins Fagan of Paris; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. George Robbins of Paris and Mrs. Floyd L. Robbins of Hayward, Calif.; five nephews, Don Edward Robbins, John William Robbins, Bobby George Robbins, Douglas Robbins and Michael Fagan; four nieces, Maureen Robbins, Sherlyn Phillips, Susan Robbins, and Linda Chanler; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
