Nelma C. Mooring, 93, of Paris, died Friday, May 26, 2000, in the Paris Healthcare Center.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, at Evergreen cemetery, with the Rev. John Kelley officiating. Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Mooring was born Nov. 24, 1906, in Waxahachie to Clyde and Hattie Morgan.
She married
Ben F. Mooring in 1927 in Okmulgee, Okla.
He died March 27, 1968.
Mrs. Mooring was a longtime beautician and hairstylist in the Paris area.
She was a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church after having been a member of the First Presbyterian Church many years.
Mrs. Mooring is survived by a daughter, Carol Bodiford and husband Ed of Garland; a son, Ben Mooring and wife Wanda of Paris; five granddaughters, Kay Altman and husband Stuart of Dallas, Susan Hand and husband Rich of Granbury, Melinda Farris of Greenville, Deborah Deaton and husband Mike of North Richland Hills and Cathy Lowry and husband Greg of Hurst; 10 great-grandchildren, Ben and Richard Altman; Jordyn, Whitney, Rebekah and Hannah Hand; Kevin and Lori Deaton; Kathy Bonanno and husband Lawrence; and Mary Moses; and one sister-in-law, Ollie Powell of Waggoner, Okla.

Booker T. Barry, 87, 1561-11th NW, died Tuesday, May 23, 2000, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Solid Rock Baptist Church with the Rev. A.R. Martin officiating.

He was born in Petty, Nov. 7, 1912 and was retired from Missouri Pacific Railroad.
Surviving are sons, Joe Barry of Paris and Ronald Barry of Fort Worth; daughters, Ethelda Batts of Houston, Connie Barry and Cheryl Barry of Paris; 23 grandchildren; and 45 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma; a son, Norman Barry, and sister, Georgia Lee.
Mary Louise Cole
Louise Cole, 84, of Paris died Wednesday, May 24, 2000.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 27, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lane Park officiating.
Burial service will be chapel graveside. Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cole was born March 29, 1916, in Hardeman County, Tennessee.
She moved to Texas in early 1950s, making Paris her home about 1955.
She retired from Hollywood Vassarette in 1978 having been employed there over 23 years.
She had five children and many precious grandchildren.
She loved spending time with her family and her hobbies were sewing and gardening.
She shared her talents with many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, O'Neal Cole.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law Loyd and Betty Cole of Bonham - their children and grandchildren: Steve, Charlotte and Meghan Cole of Louisiana; Lance Cole of Dallas, Texas.
Daughter and son-in-law Sue and Orlis Bowden of Paris - their children and grandchildren: Shannon, David and Chase Pasternak and Brook Fendley; Brandi, Gregg and Taylor Reavis; Brad, Johnna and Blake Bowden.

Desso Lee Chennault, 85, of Blossom died Thursday, May 25, 2000, at Christus St. Joseph's Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 30, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Knights of Honor cemetery.

Mr. Chennault was born Nov. 8, 1914, in Blossom to Robert Lee and Emma Whitworth Chennault.

Mary (Martina) Kegley June 25, 1936, in Morgantown.
He was a farmer and a member of the Church of God.
Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Ruby Stover of Blossom and Diann Neal of Tulair, Calif., 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 27, in Fry and Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Fortenberry officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery.

Sandra was born Feb. 18, 1963, in Wellington.
She was a graduate of North Lamar High School class of 1981 and was employed as a supervisor for Aegis Communications.
She is survived by her daughter, Erin Casey McMonigle of Quinlan; her parents, Frances and Leo Houchins of Sumner and Lee and Sharon Pendergraft of Paris; a sister, Norma Jean Dunigan and husband Joe of Direct; four brothers, Chris Pendergraft of Sumner, Stacy Pendergraft of Paris, Tommy Pendergraft and wife Michelle of Paris, and Justin Pendergraft of Paris; her fiance, Ronny Dodd of Quinlan; gradparents, Bert and Mary Finley of Paris and Laura Pendergraft of Wellington; a niece, four nephews, a great-nephew, a great-niece; and several aunts and uncles and numerous cusins and friends.
She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Raymond Pendergraft.
