Deanna Carol Bellamy 34, of Paris, died Friday, June 13, 2008 at her home. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at Deanna's church, Faith Baptist Church. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of the burial arrangements.
Dean was born September 9, 1973 to David and Carolyn Bellamy in Paris. She attended Paris schools.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Bellamy. She is survived by one daughter, Brittany Anastasia Frazier; one son, Joshua Aaron Frazier; her mother, Carolyn Bellamy; one brother, Stacy Bellamy; one sister, Brandy Bellamy; her paternal grandmother Maybelle Bellamy; and her maternal grandparents, Emanuel and Doris Thomas.

Rhonda Kay Swindle Cronin, 61, of Pinhook passed from this world Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 5:50 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 14, 2008 at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Cates officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 7-8 p.m.
She was born February 4, 1947, in Paris a daughter of Jesse Urbane and Betty Jo Reynolds Swindle. Rhonda worked for Braums Ice Cream for 24 years and had recently purchased the Novice Store. She was a member of the Woodland United Methodist Church. As a loving mother, daughter, sister, nan, aunt, and niece she will be sorely missed. As a friend, her compassion and understanding will be met by no one else. Time with family around a dinner table cannot be replaced and no one can take her place. We know without a doubt, tears will be shed and a place in our hearts will never be the same, but also understand that she looks down on us now and whispers quietly, “Cry for me but only for a little while, then remember the good times. Remember to love my family, be kind to my friends and give to others even though you have little to give. Take comfort in one another, hold each other’s hands, then carry on with life the way that I lived - loving, caring and without regrets.”
She was preceded in death by her loving father, Jesse Urbane Swindle.
She is survived by three children, Jeffrey Paul Chapman and wife Leisa of Pinhook, Georgia Michelle LaRocca and husband Richard of Mesquite, Krista Kay Elrod and husband Michael of Novice; her mother, Betty Jo Reynolds Swindle of Pinhook; grandchildren, Brittany Ann Miller, Colton Todd Black, Jon Paul Chapman, Michael Keith Chapman, Augustus Beau Chapman, Kaleb Don Elrod, Landon Richard LaRocca; a brother, Jesse Urbane Swindle, Jr. and wife, Kathy; sister, Phyllis JoAnn McMakin and husband, Rockie; sister, Jamie Melinda Carter and husband, John; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be all her Grandchildren and nephews, Wesley Carter, Ryan McMakin and Jay Swindle.

Five generations come to an end with the death of Homer William Sylvester Tabor, 85, of Paris Saturday June 7, 2008 at Mesquite Specialty Hospital in Mesquite. No services will be held in Paris, but a memorial service will be held at a later date in Beggs, Oklahoma. Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
He was born October 13, 1922 in Beggs, Oklahoma a son of Alfred and Elizabeth Young Tabor. He served his country in the Merchant Marines during WWII aboard Liberty Ships. He married
Elsie Mae Armstrong June 22, 1946 in Bakersfield, California. He was an avid bowler until health reasons caused him to stop bowling. He was a welder for Boiler Makers Local.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elsie, a son Robert Dale Tabor and his brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Tabor McCloud; grandchildren, Waynell Parson, William McCloud, Kenneth McCloud, Travis Tabor; a step-grandson, Clifton McCloud, Jr.; great grandchildren, Ashley Havner Brown, Richard Havner, Taylor McCloud, Nicholas McCloud; and a great-great grandson, Ashton Brown.

Louise G. Browning of Detroit, Texas passed away Friday June 6, 2008 in Paris Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Browning was born on December 16, 1924 in Crichton, Alabama a daughter of Phillip & Verma Strickland Graham. She was retired, was a homemaker, loved working in her flower beds, and was an active member of First Assembly of God Detroit, Texas. She truly loved and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She married
Joseph Fritz Browning on January 6, 1947 in Pascagoula, Miss.. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 2 sons Billy Joseph Browning and David Floyd Browning and a precious granddaughter Angela Faye Smith; her parents and all of her 12 siblings.

Tommy Browning Greenville, Ill., daughters-in-law; Connie Browning of Graham, Tx., Doris Browning of Dallas, Tx. grandchildren; Kourtniee Johnson of Reno, Shawn Surface of Keller, Christy Harris and Juliee Strain of Paris, Jennifer and William Jack Browning II and Amanda Larter all of Broken Arrow, Ok., Dusty Browning of Avery, Zackary Browning of Graham, Candice Browning Whitaker of Cottonwood, Arizonia, Linda and Pete Burns of Daphney, AL, Lori and Ted Stucky, Rev. Robert Browning and Sarah Damran all of Mobile, Ala.; great grandchildren Alexis Browning of Broken Arrow, OK., Jordan Garza and Victoria Harris of Paris, Jared Thompson of Mesquite, Grayson Strain of Paris, Carson Browning of Avery, Dariene and Calbe Damran, Hayden and Brady Stucky all Mobile, AL and Josh Burns of Daphney, AL., and the thirteenth great grandchild is due in September of this year.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday in the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Draper officiating. Burial will follow in the Detroit cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons-in-law; Jesse Strain, Ryan Johnson, and Gary Larter. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home and at the residence of Christy and Derik Harris 1050 NE 35th Paris at other times.

Judy Carol Baker 52, of Paris passed away Friday June 6, 2008 in Paris. She was born on September 19, 1955 in Paris a daughter of Leroy K. & Mary Ellen Whitten Mooneyham. Judy was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Crandall, Texas.
She married
Rudy Baker on September 26, 1983 in Crandall, Texas. He survives. Judy is also survived by her mother Mary Ellen Mooneyham; step-children Kristen Regmund, Shannon Carbone, and Derek Baker; sisters Mary Armstrong and Lenora Johnson; step grandchildren Avery Schmitt, Zachary Schmitt, Ashlie Schmitt, Ansley Horton, and Joshua Rodriquez; nieces and nephews Tammy Sals, Chad Kreil, Danielle Sals, Brad Adams, Michael Johnson, Jacob and Katlyn Kreil and Brad Adams and Michael Johnsons children and many other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Brad Crosswhite officiating. Burial will be in the Crandall cemetery in Crandall, Texas following the service at the funeral home. Family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Norris Rhodes Mallory, 83, of Paris died Thursday, June 5, 2008 in Tyler at the Hospice of East Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 7, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Van Lazaroff, Rev. Ray Starnes and Rev. Sharon Clepper officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service, 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. The body will lie in state at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home Friday afternoon for friends to come by and sign the register.
Norris was born July 14, 1924 in McKinney, Texas to the late James and Katie Jeffcoat Rhodes. She was a graduate of Paris High School. She married
Jim Bob Mallory on June 5, 1942. He preceded her in death on Jan. 15, 1988. For many years, she was a homemaker and in later years attended Paris Junior College. She then worked at Williams Sporting Goods as office manager, retiring in 1989. Norris was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Paris. She was a member of the Couples Class, the Altar Guild, the Littleton Hite Bible Club, and the Green Thumb Garden Club.
Norris was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jim; her brother; James Rhodes, and a son John Mallory and his wife, Rexann.
She is survived by her son, Bob Mallory and wife Cheryl of Mineola; daughters, Carol Montgomery and husband, Steve of the Woodlands, and Betsy Moore and husband, Tommy of Beaumont; ten Grandchildren and ten Great-Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
Norris deeply touched everyone who knew her and will be missed by all.
Serving as pallbearers will be Rev. Ken Cannon, David Denney, Paul Denney, Dough Kuhn, Bob Jenkins, and Skipper Steely. Members of the Couples Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Louie Hammond Ward, 76 of Paris, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Medical City of Dallas.
Funeral Services have been scheduled for Monday, June 9, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Fry-Gibbs Funeral Chapel with Bro. Harley Stripland and Rev. Ray Evers officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon.
He was born on January 21, 1932 to Charlie Ward and Lula Crutchfield Ward.
He was a self-employed hay hauler and scrap iron and metal worker. He worked until he became sick on May 14, 2007. He attended Primitive Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife; Wilma Smith Ward, whom he married
on November 12, 1955, sons; Johnny Ward and wife Vickie of Paris, Stevie Don Ward and wife Tammy of Roxton, daughter; Betty Ann Todd and husband Dean of Paris, grandchildren; Amanda Ward, Angela Ward, Johnny “Bubba” Ward, Jeremy Todd, Jennifer Rhodes, Sarah Todd, Cody Don Ward, Danny Ray Emeyabbi, 8 great-grandchildren, sister; Eulalia Lee Walker of Paris, half-sister; Myrtle Townsend of Paris and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Charlie and Lula Ward, daughter; Cynthia Ward, brothers; Charles “Buddy” Ward, John Ward, Bill Ward, sisters; Dorothy Herron, Estelle Merritt, Edna Annie Ward, grandchildren; Chris Ward, Christa Ward.

KENNETH NORRIS MURPHY 70, of Reno, entered into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at the Heart Center-Baylor in Plano, Texas. A memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 21, 2008 at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Sanders officiating. Music will be provided by Joyce Lay and Royce Carmon. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time prior to the service. Cremation arrangements were by Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born September 6, 1937 in Cunningham. He was the adopted son of Earl L. and Pauline Sorrells Murphy and was reared in Quanah, Texas. He retired from Campbell Soup in 1995 after 26 years of service. Kenneth was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He married
Jo Ella Carmon on November 2, 1957 in Hugo.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ella Murphy; a son, Kenneth Mitchell Murphy and wife Debby; a daughter, Mary Joanna Murphy; grandchildren, Chase Murphy and Chance Murphy; and great-grandchildren, Dalton Murphy and Caleb Murphy.
Kenneth was a faithful and devoted son, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He also leaves behind several cousins, three sisters and brothers-in-law; many precious nieces, nephews, and friends to cherish his memory.
