Judith Marshall
DALLAS - Memorial services for Judith Annette Marshall, 44, of Dallas will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Highland Oaks Church of Christ in Dallas.
Arrangements are under the direction of Family Funeral Care of Mesquite.
She died on Friday, Sept. 29, 2000.
She was born on July 12, 1956, in Great Falls, Mont. During her high school years at L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, she swam competitively, taught swimming and was a lifeguard. Upon graduation in 1974, she attended Texas Tech University.
She married
Tony Marshall in 1976. She received a bachelor's degree in English in 1981. After moving to Spring in 1984, she taught English, French, and English as a Second Language while doing post-graduate work at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
During her teaching career, she was twice named Teacher of the Year. While living in Houston, she attended Bammel Road Church of Christ and since moving to Dallas, she was an active member of Highland Oaks Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Shad and Adrienne; her parents, Jack and Jeannine Green; and a sister, Louise Daniels.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Highland Oaks Caring and Sharing, Ellen Brooks West Memorial Library in Forney, or Baylor Institute of Immunology Research in care of Dr. Joseph Faye in Dallas.
Mae Calvert
MULESHOE - Graveside services for Mae Calvert, 96, of Farwell will be at 11 a.m. today in Muleshoe Memorial Park cemetery with Curtis Shelburne officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
She died on Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, in the Farwell Convalescent Center.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1904, in Arkansas. She married
Delmer Leon Calvert in 1924 in Matador. He died April 30, 1990. A son, Johnie, died on Feb. 3, 1997.
She was a member of the Methodist church and was a homemaker. She had been a resident of Farwell for the last eight years, moving from Muleshoe, where she had lived since 1968.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Neva; a sister, Mildred Rubbish; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mckinley Simpson
COLORADO CITY - Services for Mckinley Simpson, 65, of Colorado City will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Spear officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
He died on Friday, Sept. 29, 2000, in an Abilene Hospital.
He was born on March 27, 1935, in Plainview. He was a member of the Plainview Baptist Church and the Sundown Lions Club. He married
Connie Taylor on Jan. 27, 1971, in Denver City. He was a resident of Colorado City for 18 years.
Survivors include his wife; four children, David of Houston, Dennis of Plainview, and Suzanne and Cally, both of Florida; three step-children, Steve of Lubbock, Sammy of Austin and Judy of Austin; two brothers, Howard Simpson Jr. of Arlington and Francis Wisenhunt; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Geneva Davis
POST - Services for Geneva Voss Davis, 91, of Weatherford will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Poolville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Roger Barker officiating.
Burial will be at 2 p.m. today in Post cemetery under the direction of White's Funeral Homes.
She died Thursday, Sept. 28, 2000, in a local nursing facility.
She was born on June 5, 1909, in Henrietta. She moved to Post as a child and attended school at Post High School. She attended Hardin Simmons and graduated from Texas Tech University.
She taught school for several years in the Lubbock area. She entered the Red Cross in 1943, serving several places and retired in Albuquerque in 1972.
She was a member of Post United Methodist Church, Altrusa Club, Business and Woman's Club and American Red Cross Retired Association.
She married
Goldsmith Davis in 1978. He died in 1997. She moved to Weatherford in 1998.
Survivors include a daughter, D.J. Stubblefield of Poolville; a son, Don Davis of Poolville; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to Castle Peak Hospice, Weatherford, the Poolville United Methodist Church, Bell Choir Fund or the Post Texas United Methodist Church.
Jerry D. Ramsey, Ph.D.
Services for Jerry D. Ramsey, Ph.D., will be 2 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2007, in First United Methodist Church, with Keith Wiseman officiating. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock cemetery. The family will receive friends in the church parlor at 1 p.m. prior to the service.
Jerry Dwain was born Nov. 6, 1933, in Tulia, to E.W. and Mila Lou Culwell Ramsey. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1951 and was later inducted into the AHS Hall of Fame. Jerry received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees from Texas A&M; University. On Feb. 4, 1956, Jerry married
Sue Skelton in Temple. From 1956-1958, he served in the US Army and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany. He received the rank of Captain. In 1967, Jerry received his doctorate from Texas Tech University. From 1976-2006, Dr. Ramsey was a professor of Industrial Engineering at TTU, where he served as Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs from 1977 until 1989. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue, in 1994. Throughout the years, Dr. Ramsey received many professional, civic, and governmental awards, including Who's Who in Engineering and Who's Who in the World. In his later years, his life was enriched by a special friendship with Jeri Lott.
Survivors include his children, Randy and wife Mindy Ramsey of Temple, Randa and husband Larry Jessen of Southlake, Rachel Herald of Rowlett, and Rick and wife Janet Ramsey of Grapevine; his sister, Janette and husband Gerald Reid of Amarillo; his mother, Mila of Amarillo; and grandchildren, Mysti, Rusten, Rayse, Janae, Adam, and Anna.

Juanita S. Flores
Juanita S. Flores, 50, of Lubbock died Monday at a local Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be recited 10 a.m. Friday, May 18th, at the Cathedral at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at W.W. Rix Chapel.
Juanita was born March 21, 1957, in Plainview, to Olegario Sanchez Sr. and Ramona Rodriguez Sanchez. She graduated from Estacado High School and Lubbock Christian University. Juanita had been employed by the City Of Lubbock for thirty-three years in the information technologies department.
She was a member of the Cathedral at Christ the King Catholic Church.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Maurisa Gonzales and husband Michael of Lubbock; ex-husband and best friend, Joe Flores of Lubbock; two grandchildren, Justyn Trai and Hannah; her mother, Ramona Martinez of Lubbock; six brothers, George Sanchez and wife Amelia of Donna, Olegario Sanchez, Jr. and wife Nancy of Arlington, Frank Sanchez and wife Francis of Clovis, Martin Sanchez of Amarillo, Junior Sanchez and wife Sylvia, and Rudy Martinez and Wife Delfina of Lubbock; and two sisters, Christina Shaeffer and husband Dale of Hobbs and Deana Cordova and husband Ernie of Clovis.
Johnny Aguero, Sr.
Johnny Aguero, Sr., 56, of Lubbock passed away April 4, 2007. Viewing will be at Calvillo Funeral Home on Friday, April 6, 2007. Burial will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Peaceful Garden cemetery.
Survivors include his four children, Elizabeth Aguero, Johnny Jr. Aguero, Johnny David Aguero, and Paul Aguero; four sisters; four brothers; and nine grandchildren.
Robert "Bobby" Lee Hogan
Robert "Bobby" Lee Hogan, 66, of Lubbock passed away Thursday, March 29, 2007. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2007, in the W. W. Rix Chapel, with Rev. Bruce Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in the City of Lubbock cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Hogan was born May 3, 1940, in New Deal, and attended school there. He had lived in Lubbock for the past 45 years.
Bobby was preceded in death by a son, Robby Hogan; his parents, Robert and Bessie Hogan; and brother, Benny Hogan.
Survivors include a son, Kevin Hogan; three sisters, Bessie Francis Williamson, Barbara Green, and Brenda Hogan; a brother, Bill Hogan; and six grandchildren, Byron, Brandon, Amber, Devin, Kyle, and Katie Hogan.
