Brian Kieth
Brian Kieth of New Home passed away Aug. 24, 2007, in Lubbock, at the age of 48. He was born Nov. 11, 1958, to Jimmie Glen Kieth and Betty Joann (Peek) Kieth. Brian attended grammar and high school in New Home. He graduated in 1977 and then attended South Plains College. He married
Catherine Morris May 29, 1993, in Lubbock. Brian was a warehouse manager for TI for 19 years and Rehab Plus for 5 years. He was a member of the New Home Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Catherine Kieth; one son, Charles of New Home; three daughters, Caitlin Kieth of New Home, Aubrey Kieth of Tahoka and Brandy Isham and husband Josh of Tahoka; his parents; three grandchildren, Ryan, Kade and Abigail; two brothers, Mickey Kieth and wife Kelly and Murray Kieth and wife Angie, all of New Home; his grandfather, Garland Peek; and four nieces.
Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cecil and Juanita Kieth and Helen Peek, and one nephew, Cody Kieth.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at the New Home Baptist Church, with Rev. Randal Hamilton officiating.

Seba H. Hennessy
Seba H. Hennessy, age 87, of Boerne, passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2002. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on January 22, 1915, the daughter of James Richard and Bertha Porter Colston. A member of the Boerne Turn Verein and the Antlers Dance Club, she had lived in Boerne for over 50 years. preceded in death by her husband, William J. Hennessy in 2002, Mrs. Hennessy is survived by Daughter, Billy Jean Loflin and her husband, Ben, of Bedford, Texas; Two Grandchildren; Two Great Grandchildren; Brothers, Lee Colston and Jay Colston; Sister, Laura Parker; Niece, Julie Pendleton, as well as many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Visitation was held on Sunday, Dec. 22, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. The Graveside Service was held on Monday, Dec. 23, at 11:00 A.M. at the Boerne cemetery, with Dr. David B. Vaughan, Officiating.
Evelyn Moore
Evelyn Moore, beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many passed away Aug. 29, 2007, in Lubbock, at the age of 88. She was born Oct. 28, 1918, in Montague County, to Sunset Boone and Eva (Freeman) Boone. Evelyn attended high school in Munday. She moved to Lubbock in 1937 from East Texas. Evelyn married
Fraser Moore on Sept. 28, 1936. They were married
for 61 years and Mr. Moore preceded her in death Jan. 16, 1998. Mrs. Moore worked for Hemphill-Wells and was a devoted wife, homemaker and mother.
She was a founding member of Needle Club Bee and a supporter of Lubbock Christian High School. She was given an award for her support to LCHS. Evelyn was very active in her Sunday School Class and served on the funeral committees. She was a member of the Broadway Church of Christ for over 57 years. Having been raised during the depression, she valued everything that she was blessed to have in life. She will be missed by her family, but the valuable lessons she shared will never be forgotten. She adored her family, her friends, and never yielded from her beliefs.
Those left to cherish her memories are one daughter, Sue Ann Busby and husband Bob of Missouri City, Texas; two grandchildren, Belinda Melson and husband Ben of Sugarland and Susan McKinley and husband Leslie of Katy; five great-grandchildren, Jake and Cole McKinley and Jack, Katie and Benjamin Melson; one sister, Betty Kimbro of Lubbock; special friends, LeAnna and Kenny Adams; several nieces; and a multitudes of friends of all ages.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, Frank Boone; and one sister, Jimmie Crosnoe.
Family will greet friends Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, from 6-7:30 p.m. at White Funeral Home in Lubbock.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 1, 2007, at the Broadway Church of Christ Chapel in Lubbock, with Joe Burks officiating. Interment will follow in the Resthaven cemetery.
Arrangements are under the personal care of White Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Annie Sparck
Annie Sparck, age 85, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2002. She was born on June 30, 1917, in Inez, Texas, the daughter of John and Lula Kutcha Prukop. A member of the Catholic Church, she had been a resident of Boerne for 4 years and was a former resident of New Orleans, Louisiana and Portland, Texas. She volunteered at the Rainbow Senior Center and the Seasons Thrift Shop. preceded in death by her husband, George Sparck and son, Johnny D. Sparck, Mrs. Sparck is survived by Niece, Helen Jessop; Grandaughters, Jennifer Sparck and Margaret Ellen Sparck Causey, both of New Orleans; Daughter in law, Peggy Wilson Sparck; numerous nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, December 17, at 2:30 P.M. at Vaughan’s Funeral Home, with Dr. David B. Vaughan, Officiating. Graveside service will be on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 9:30 AM, Westlawn cemetery in Gretna, Louisiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorials be made to the Rainbow Senior Center, P. O. Box 1039, Boerne, TX 78006 .
Richard Michael Price
Richard Michael Price, age 88, was born May 5th, 1919, and completed his journey in life in Lubbock on Aug. 29, 2007, to be with the Lord. He was born to Isaac Newton Price and Elizabeth Mary Hardy Price in Brownwood. Mr. Price was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Eugenia Ayers Price. He is survived by his daughter, Wilma E. Bates and husband Bill of Lubbock; sister, Mary Cleveland of Del Rio; two brothers, John Price of Arlington and Thomas Price of Carlsbad, Texas; two granddaughters, Dawn M. Bates of Seattle, Wash. and Angela F. Bates of New York City.
He attended St. Rita's Catholic School in Ranger and graduated from Eastland High School in Eastland. He went on to graduate from the College of Mines and Metallurgy (UTEP) in El Paso. He enlisted in the Army during WWII and was a member of the 36th Infantry Division, (Texas T- Patchers). He saw combat in North Africa, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany. Upon completing school, he went to work for the International Boundary and Water Commission as a geologist until he retired. He worked on Dams in South Dakota and Lake Amistad in Del Rio. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Del Rio, Veterans of Foreign Wars and a member of the U.S. Geological Society.

Visitations will be today, from 5-9 p.m. Aug. 31, 2007, at G. W. Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by interment at Sunset Memorial Oaks cemetery. Peggy Ruth Savell
Peggy Ruth Savell passed away Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2007 in Lubbock, Texas.
Born in Abilene, Texas, on Oct. 20, 1942, Peggy was the daughter of Ima Gene (Thomas) and Albert James Savell. She graduated from Seminole High School in Seminole, Texas, and was a dedicated, caring nurse in Lubbock for 46 years, having received her LVN training at the nursing school at Methodist Hospital in Lubbock.
Peggy is survived by her mother, Ima Gene Savell of Abilene; one sister, Shirley Hayes of Abilene, and two brothers, Edward Lee Savell of Fredericksburg, Texas, and Jimmy Ray Savell and wife, Linda, of Denver, Colorado; several nieces and nephews; and her longtime special friend, Sharon (Skeet) McWhorter of Lubbock, as well as many friends and co-workers in Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Savell; grandmother, Johnnie Thomas; brother-in-law, John Clifton Hayes, Jr.; and a great-nephew, Christopher Eastman.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 542 Hickory in Abilene, officiated by Rev. Lee Fuller. Burial will be in Cedar Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Todd Flint, Kenny Rademacher, George Wright, Bill Burgess, Dana Harper and Billy Cox.

Clifton Ray Ladd
Clifton Ray Ladd, 77, of Idalou, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at his residence, in Idalou. He was born Oct.11, 1929, in Corsicana, to the late Lewis and Effie A. (Lucas) Ladd.
He attended schools in Greenville and married
Nelwyn Sherman on Dec. 9, 1950, in Jacksonville. The couple moved to the South Plains in 1953 from Breckenridge. He was a cotton ginner for many years, retiring in 1993. Clifton was a member of the Roosevelt Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 56 years, Nel of Idalou; three sons, Larry B. 'Rusty' Ladd, Clifton J. Ladd, and David C. Ladd, all of Lubbock; three daughters, Janell Smith, Kathleen Davis, and Laura Anciso, all of Idalou; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Oswalt of Terrell; and his nephews, Lyn Oswalt, Raymond Ladd, Billy Jack Ladd, and Alton Ladd. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Raymond Ladd and J. W. Ladd.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at Roosevelt First Baptist Church, with Rev. Robert Magee officiating. Interment will follow in the Idalou cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007, from 6:30 - 8 p.m., at White Funeral Home in Idalou.
The family suggests memorials to the Lubbock Senior Citizens Center, 2001 19th Street, Lubbock, TX 79401, in Clifton's memory.

Thelma Lee Camp
Thelma Lee Camp passed from this life on Aug. 27, 2007 at the age of 85. She was born Nov. 5, 1921 and served as an army nurse during WWII. She was married
to the late Henry Camp.
She is survived by her son, Gregory Camp, his wife Holly Jo and their children Alexander and Jacquelyn of Lubbock; and by her daughter Velvet McFeeters of Norman, Okla., her husband William and children Christi Sneed and Spain Abney; and by four great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at Heritage Church of Christ in Keller, Texas on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Lois Andrea Miller
Lois Miller, age 58, passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2003. She was born in Strong City, Kansas, on September 23, 1944, the daughter of Harry and Ruby Wolcott Campbell. A resident of Boerne since 1996, she had moved from Issaquah, Washington. She loved quilting and was a member of local clubs. preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Miller is survived by her Husband, Dale C. Miller; Son, Mark Miller and his wife, Pam, of Puyallup, Washington; Daughter, Jodi Zeringue and her husband, Kevin, of Houma, Louisiana; Grandchildren, Justin and Taylor Welsh, Tad Miller, Campbell Miller, and Dawson Miller; Brother, Johnny Campbell and his wife, Sue, of Grants Pass, Oregon; Sister, Cheryl Cunningham and her husband, Donald, of Mariposa, CA. The family asks that memorials be made in Lois's name to the Hill Country Animal Defense SPCA, 115 W. Bandera Rd. Boerne, TX 78006. Maxine Turner
Funeral services for Maxine Turner, 82, who passed away Aug. 29, 2007, will be held on Sat. Sept. 1, 2007, at 10 a.m. at Cornerstone Bible Church in Lubbock. Pastor Richard Grubbs will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will take place Friday, Aug. 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Maxine was born Aug. 3, 1925, in Lubbock to parents Grace and M.E. Hawes. She grew up in west Texas and graduated from Clovis High School in 1943. She was married
to James Kennedy (who passed away in 1973) in Clovis, and to this union was born her only child, Patricia.
She lived in Albuquerque for over 40 years, where she worked as a bookkeeper for Schwartzman's, was an active member of the Church of Christ, and was an avid bowler who participated in many leagues. In 1997, she moved to Lubbock to reside with her granddaughter and family. Because of her invaluable support and sacrifice, she is dearly loved and will be forever missed by her family.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and James Lockridge of Lubbock; two granddaughters: Laurie (and husband, Patrick) Marbas of Yorktown, Va. and Heather Robinette of Alamogordo, NM; four great-grandchildren: Emily, Jonathan, and Gabriel Marbas and Logan Robinette; and two sisters: Lolita Jouett and Goldie McCurry.
