Delorise Williams
Delorise Williams, 54, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, niece, and daughter-in-law, passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008. She was born September 1, 1953 in Lubbock to the late Robert Johnson and Lola Adams.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Bobby Williams of Lubbock; sons, Toney Souder and wife, Sheila of Newark, TX, Joedy Souder and wife, Terri of Millstadt, IL, and Bobby Souder and wife, Michelle of Saginaw, TX; grandchildren, Tyler, Zeb, Ashlynne, Trenton, and Emma Grace Souder; sisters, Jackie Adams and Sharon Baugh of Lubbock; brothers, Jack and Jamie Adams of Lubbock; aunt, Emma Scott of Lubbock; mother-in-law, Virginia Williams of Euless, TX; sister-in-law, Cheri Williams McLane of Euless; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008 at the Smyer cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
LeRoy Katzer
LeRoy D. Katzer, age 68, of Boerne, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2002. He was born in Westhoff, TX, on Nov., 23, 1933, the son of Edward H. and Leona Baer Katzer. A Veteran of the U. S. Navy serving during the Korean War, he was a member of the Paul Vogt Lodge of the Order of the Sons of Hermann. He retired from Kelly Field with over 25 years of service. preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Katzer is survived by Wife, Lenora Katzer; Sons, Danny Lee Katzer and his wife, Dianne and Mark Randall Katzer and his wife, Michelle; Daughter, Connie Lynn Katzer-Hill and her husband Albert; Grandchildren, Lee Ann Nichelle Katzer, Derrick Allen Katzer, Cody Dewayne Katzer, Dustin Randall Katzer, Lacey Nichole Katzer and Zachary Guinn; Brothers, Herman Katzer, Melvin Katzer, and Clarence Katzer. Visitation was on Wed., June 26, from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. The Funeral Service was held on Thurs., June 27, at 10:00 A.M., at Vaughan’s Funeral Home with Pastor Mariola Bergquist, Officiating. Pallbearers were Steve Clouse, Charlie Motz, Doug Loeffler, Irvin Kutzer, Dan Sanders and Chuck Carver. Burial followed in the Boerne cemetery. Tom Jenkins
Tom Jenkins was born April 22, 1921, in Prague, Okla., and moved to Tahoka with his family. He served in the Army and was discharged in February 1946. He was employed at Reese Air Force Base for 14 years as a mechanic in the motor pool. He had been a resident of Lubbock for 52 years and was affiliated with the Church of the First Born.
Survivors include a daughter, Janis Jenkins Gonzales of Lubbock; two sisters, LeNora Hill of Hawley and Irene Kinnemer of Arizona; four brothers, Robert of Mineral Wells, Chestley of Granite Shoals, and Jessy Ray and Dan Riley, both of Colorado; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Lubbock Meals on Wheels, 2304 34th St., Lubbock, TX 79411.
He died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002 at the age of 81.
Kenneth Herd
Kenneth Herd passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008. A service celebrating his life will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2008 in Sanders Memorial Chapel. Internment will be in Idalou cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born on November 1, 1931 in Turkey, Texas to William Edward and Mandy Smith Herd. He enjoyed working with the public as a salesman for Dr. Pepper and Consolidated Bearing & Supply. He never met a stranger. He was an avid fan of baseball, both as a player, coach and fan. He was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn and children, Judy and husband Kermit Williams of Morton, Michael and wife Maria of Texas City, and son Kevin and wife Debbie of Frisco. He is also survived by brothers William and wife Jan Angelley, Stan and wife Helga Angelley, J.R. Angelley and wife Sue of Magnolia, New Jersey.
"Papa” was a loving husband and a devoted father. He is also survived by granddaughters Kamy and husband CJ Whatley of Fabens, Ollie and husband Andy Hart of Abernathy, grandson Samuel Herd of Frisco. Papa has granddaughters Victoria Arrington of Houston and Stephanie Garcia and Jeanette Negrotto both of Texas City. He also has great grandsons Gage Whatley of Fabens, Mason Hart of Abernathy, James Negrotto and Blake Hudson of Texas City, Jacob Arrington and great granddaughter Suzanne Arrington of Houston.
He is preceded in death by granddaughter Kelli Herd; his parents and brothers: Edward, Roy, Wilbert Herd; and sisters: Catherine and Edwina.
A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening 7:00-8:00 at the funeral home.

Vianne Allen
Services for Vianne Marie Allen, 58, of Lubbock will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 20allen.vianne.jpg10 at First Christian Church-Hodges Chapel with Dr. Michael Passmore officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Llano cemetery in Amarillo. A visitation service will be held from 6-7 p.m., Wednesday at Sanders Funeral Home.
Vianne died Monday, July 26, 2010. She was born April 2, 1952 in Amarillo. Vianne contributed many years to serving others as a nurse. Her passion was caring for others.
She is survived by her mother, Grace Allen of Lubbock; family and friends.

Louise Wade
Louise Wade was born Jan. 19, 1918, and had been a resident of Lubbock since 1965, coming from Ropesville. She married
Morris H. Wade on Sept. 13, 1953, in Dallas. He died Aug. 11, 1995. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Inez Kimberlin of Pottsboro; a son, Doyle Odom of Kingsland; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002 at the age of 84.
Patsy Agee Parker
Patsy Agee Parker, 79, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at her home. She was born November 15, 1930 in Kingsville, Texas and is now in Heaven with precious family members, her husband, Hardage, and son, Lee. She leaves behind her three daughters, Gay (Gary) Tate, Pamela (Rusty) Rush and Dee Ann (Chip) Thomas; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Lee) Kramer, Austin Skinner, Jessica Thomas, Katie (Chris) Ferguson, and Rachel Rush; as well as one great-grandchild, Jackson Kramer; and her beloved sister, Marilyn Hamff.
Arrangements are under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.

Mary Mathis
Mary and her twin sister, Martha were born on March 4, 1916 in Temple, Texas (Bell County). They were the daughters of E.T. and Ora Pearl (Crouch) Mathis. They moved to Lubbock in 1921 to buy land for farming purposes. Mary and Martha went to school in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School in 1933. Then they both graduated from Texas Technological College in 1937.
Mary taught school in Big Spring and Sterling City then returned to Lubbock and taught English and Latin at Lubbock High for nine years. After eleven years total of teaching, she resigned to take over the business side of the family farming enterprise. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1921, teaching in the third grade primary department for over 60 years. She ministered to many friends and shut-ins in her church and the community. Mary was truly God’s servant.
Mary passed away August 19, 2010.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; twin sister; and other uncles, aunts and cousins. She is survived by many cousins and friends, including her special friends, Dr. and Mrs. Kent Brooks; her care-giver, Sarah Gibbs; staff of Homecare Solutions; homebound visitors of FBC; and her adopted niece, Linda (Hicks) Wigner and her family.
Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Ballard and Rev. Randy Holman officiating. Interment will follow at City of Lubbock cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m.
