Robert Dale Bradshaw
Robert Dale Bradshaw, of Austin died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, after a prolonged illness.
Funeral services are pending at this time.
He was born Dec. 31, 1922, in Fort Worth.
Survivors include Nell, wife of 59 years; son, Dana and wife, Sharlene of Washington, D.C.; daughters, Becky and husband, Ed Blakey of Alamo, Calif., and Annelle and husband, Russ Adams of Austin; grandchildren, Bryan Vaughn, Ben Blakey, Brad Blakey, Kali Bradshaw and Daniel Blakey. In addition, he was blessed in life with two sisters, Ann and Kay.

James Cobbs
James Cobbs, 78, of Lubbock passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at his residence. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Peaceful Gardens cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Cobbs; four children and two step-children, James Edward (curly), Alice Fay, Edward Dee, and Don Earl (Donnie) Cobbs, all of Lubbock; a step-son, Michael Humphrey of Dallas; one step-daughter, Diane Wright of Oklahoma City, Okla.; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will recieve visitors from 2 until 6 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
Erma "Tiger" Williams
Church service for Erma "Tiger" Williams, 72, of Morton is scheduled for 2 p.m. today, at First Baptist Church, with Rev. Paul Lively officiating. Burial will be in Morton Memorial cemetery.
Erma died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, in Cochran Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 8, 1935, to H.G. "Doc" and Frankie (Mills) Long, in Carey. She married
George Gilbert "Ike" in Lingo, N.M. June 10, 1956. She moved to the Morton Community in 1939 from Carey. She was a graduate of Morton High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Morton.
She is survived by her husband, Ike; sons, Mike Williams and wife Loretta of Sundown and Marty Williams of Morton; sister, Linda Huckabee Morton; granddaughter, Rhiannon Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Floyd C. Tumlinson
Services for Floyd C. Tumlinson, 81, of Lubbock will be 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7th at Andrews Old cemetery with the Rev. Randy Elftman officiating and Rev. Donald Tumlinson assisting. He passed away Sept. 5, 2007 in Lubbock.
He was born in Bermuda, Texas on June 2, 1926. He was a heavy equipment operator in Gaines County. He was known for his love of horses.
Survivors include daughters, JoBeth and Steve Fraze, Clarice and Mike Johnson, Polly and Randy Clemens and Lucille and Randy Elftman; sisters, Marjorie Cocanougher, Mary Knight and Ruth Ann Kelsey; brothers, Earl Tumlinson, Charles Tumlinson and John Tumlinson; grandchildren, Tassie Fish, Clay and Clint Johnson, Kori, Haley and Tara Clemens, Wade and Amy Elftman; great grandchildren, Meg White, Bailey Fish, Kutter and Justin Johnson.

Judy Joe Ann Patterson
Funeral services for Judy Joe Ann Patterson, 58, of Lubbock, will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at Sanders Memorial Chapel with Reverend Kyle Brock officiating. Interment will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
Joe Ann passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2007.
She was born June 27, 1949 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to M.C. and Marie Taylor. In 1986, she married
James Patterson in Lubbock. For over twenty-five years, she was a caregiver in nursing homes and private facilities.
Survivors include her husband, James of Lubbock; three sons, James and wife, Tonya and their son Brandon of Mulberry, Arkansas, Billy, and Jonathan, both of Lubbock.
Henry B. Taylor, III
Henry Boardman Taylor III, was born May 4, 1953. Henry died on June 9, 2003, after a painful, five year battle with Hepatitis C. Henry was always a loving husband, father, son, brother, and a friend to all. His gentle, generous, and kind heart kept him close to many people over many years. To know Henry was to love and laugh with him. This precious man always had a joke or something funny to share. May we always remember him with his enormous smile and that contagious laugh of his. Henry is survived by Georganne, his adoring wife of 18 short years. Together they created an incredible family of two sets of beautiful twin daughters. Audrey and Claire came along and two years later, Jillian and Maggie. Henry's "five girls" have always been his absolute pride and joy. Henry is also survived by his loving sister, Gail Ashley and her husband, Gene, along with his big brother Allan Taylor and very wonderful aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry B. "Red" Taylor II and Ada Pearl Clark Taylor and his Grandpa Henry B. Taylor I, and Grandma Althea Marston Taylor. Henry is a 1971 graduate of East Central High School in San Antonio. He has always been proud of his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Chemistry and Biology from SWTSU in San Marcos. He enjoyed his twenty year career in the microchip/semiconductor business and had great respect for his colleagues who will also miss him dearly. Henry loved airplanes, flying, surfing, and sailing. As a Father, he took his girls bike riding, camping, swimming and on many exciting adventures. Henry was blessed with a liver transplant in August, 2000. Many thanks to Dr. V. K. Speeg and Mark Dedman and the rest of the transplant team at University Hospital and to the donor family whose selfless gift gave Henry three more years with us all. A loving thanks to Therese Bailey and her team at Odyssey Hospice. Visitation was held at Vaughan's Funeral Home in Boerne from 6:00 to 8:00 on the evening of Thursday, June 12th. The Funeral Service was Friday, June 13th at the First United Methodist Church in Boerne at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Ron Fisher, Officiating. Pallbearers were Tommy McDonald, Chris Vineyard, Frank Thomas, Tommy L. Rodes, III, Terry Britton, Roger Baird, Naji Tabet, and Don Raley. Honorary Pallbearers are Glenn Neubauer, Mark Dedman, Don McIntyre, Rick Henderson, Jim "Horsefly" Middleton, Stanley Maerki, John Ivy, Doug Graves, David Neill, Jeff Robins, Scott Gessner, Venkat Thupakula, Sabyasachi Bose and Pierre Leroux. Interment followed in the Boerne cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Liver Foundation or the Memorial Fund for Henry B. Pete McKee
Pete McKee, 75, of Lubbock, passed away Sept. 5, 2007, at the Lubbock Heart Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Sat. Sept. 8, at 1 p.m. in the Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home. Interment will take place later the same day at 4:30 p.m. in Mt. Olive cemetery in Big Spring, Texas. Pastor Shon Wagner, of Redbud Baptist Church, will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Resthaven Funeral Home. He was born Nov. 10, 1931, in Vealmoor, Texas to parents Effie (Kay) and Carl P. McKee. He grew up in Vealmoor and graduated from high school in Ackerly. He worked for a few years in the oil fields and then started working in feed lot management. In 1960, he moved to Lubbock, where he began working for the S - Ranch. Pete was a hardworking man who loved rodeos, bull-riding, and the outdoors.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth McKee of Wolfforth; two daughters and sons-in-law: Kay and Don Holtzclaw of Shreveport, La. and Shae and Ernie McCauley of Idalou; a sister and brother-in-law, Geneva and Alan ÏSkinnyÓ Higgins of Lubbock; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Dr. Rudolpho Martinez at the Lubbock Cancer Center and all of Pete's physicians at the Lubbock Heart Hospital.
Barbara Ann (Green) Fowler
Barbara Ann (Green) Fowler, 55, of Lubbock died Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at Covenant Medical Center.
She leaves behind two daughters, Africa Daren and Shakyha Reece; two grandchildren; fours sisters, Georgia Tryon Lewis, Carolyn Tryon, Lena Tryon and Marilyn Brown; one brother, William Tryon II; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Service will be at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 at 2 p.m.
Visitation will today from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Griffin Mortuary.
Joseph Dutton Joiner
Joseph Dutton Joiner, born March 3, 1944 in Washington, DC to J.B. and Mildred Joiner, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 14, 2007, at his home in Santa Fe, NM. A memorial was held by friends in Santa Fe, Aug. 28th, followed by a family memorial in Lubbock, Texas. Joe grew up in Lubbock where he graduated from Texas Tech University in May 1966. He was commissioned in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Vietnam from 1967 to 1968 as a rifle platoon commander. After completing his military service, Joe attended law school at USC receiving a Doctorate of Jurisprudence in 1972. He practiced law in San Francisco for many years before relocating to Santa Fe in 2000, where he continued his practice and devoted significant time to pro bono and volunteer work. His work as pro bono counsel to the Northern New Mexico Radio Foundation helped keep Santa Fe's public radio station on the air, and his work on behalf of the Santa Fe FarmersÌ Market helped secure the market a permanent home. Joe also served on the Board of Directors of the Northern New Mexico Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and as a chairperson for the Santa Fe County Corrections Advisory Committee. His acute intellect, along with a passion for law and the constitution, were partnered with a terrific sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.
He is survived by his son, Captain Scott Joiner, USMC; parents J.B. and Mildred Joiner of Lubbock; brother and sister-in-law, Steve Joiner and Beulah Casey; and niece Casey Joiner of Addison, Texas.
Alberta (Mills) Loggins
Alberta (Mills) Loggins, 70, of Lubbock died Sept. 5, 2007 at Odyssey Health Care in Amarillo. Funeral Services will be10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007 of Agape State Temple Church of God in Christ. Burial will be in Peaceful Garden Memorial Park in Woodrow, under the direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home.
Alberta Loggins was born on June 1, 1937 in Mount Enterprise, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Brackson Mills. She met and married
Willie Loggins, in Lubbock, Texas; he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. She worked as an insurance agent in the Lubbock area for several years.
She leaves to mourn one step son, Kenneth Loggins; a special nephew, Brackson Mills and a niece, Annette Mills of Amarillo. She also leaves to mourn a host of nieces and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7th at Ossie Curry Funeral Home.
Larry McBrewer
Larry McBrewer, 52, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2007. He leaves to cherish is precious memories his wife, Pearlee; his mother, Mary Woodruff; one daughter, Trina Tucker (Courtney); three grandsons, LaShundrick, KeAndre and Tamarique McBrewer; brothers, Terry McBrewer, David McBrewer, Galen McChristian and Glen McBrewer; one sister, Nedra Ann Matthews; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Service will be Saturday, at Hope Deliverance Temple at 10 a.m., followed by the burial at the City of Lubbock cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. today at Griffin Mortuary.
