PADUCAH - Graveside services for Charlie "Marvin" Sossaman, 78, of Paducah will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Paducah Garden of Memories with the Rev. Roy C. Keith, pastor of First Christian Church, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Seigler Funeral Home.
Sossaman died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in Childress Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 10, 1920, in Jacksboro. He married
Maxine Yvonne Canon on Dec. 23, 1927, in Paducah. She died Nov. 19, 1991. He married
Leotta Harrison on June 10, 1992. He was a member of Missionary Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Pat Adams of Paducah; two brothers, John L. and Trevor, both of Hereford; a sister, Bonnie Barnes of Fort Worth; and three grandchildren.
Melvin Ritz
HOBBS, N.M. - Services for Melvin E. Ritz, 81, of Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Prairie Haven Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jack Stringer officiating.
Burial will be in Prairie Haven Memorial Park under direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Ritz died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in Lovington, N.M.
He was born Sept. 3, 1917, in St. Louis, Mo. He worked for Conoco for 36 years. He was an ordained Southern Baptist minister at the Airbase City in the 1960s. His wife, Margaret, died in 1992.
Survivors include three daughters, Jodie Fcurqurean of Midland, Ruth Delozier of Lubbock and Lissa Andersen of Lovington, N.M.; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to Family Care Hospice.
Reyes Cano Sr.
HEREFORD - Rosary for Reyes Cano Sr., 64, of Hereford will be at 7 p.m. today in Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in San Jose Catholic Church with the Rev. Domingo Castillo officiating.
Burial will be in West Park cemetery in Hereford.
Cano died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in Hereford Regional Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 6, 1935, in Valle Zaragosa, Mexico. He married
Maria Garcia on Sept. 18, 1964, in Hereford. He was a farm worker for Bill Cole Farms and a member of San Jose Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Reyes Jr. of Dallas; three daughters, Mary Jane Mendoza of Mississippi, Gloria Aguilar of Amarillo and Patricia Cano of McAllen; a brother, Agustin Cano of El Paso; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Wayne Kenneth Teague in 1949. He died in 1972. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She married
Woodrow Wilson Black on July 30, 1987, in Snyder. He died in 1996. She was a waitress for 30 years, working at the Plaza Truck Stop, Ballard's Cafe and several other restaurants in Snyder. She was a member of the Ladies Home Extension Club.
Survivors include three daughters, Pamela Jo Browning of Snyder, Charlene Harrison of Hobbs, N.M., and Hattie Joyce Smith of Canton; a son, James Robert Teague of Boyd; two brothers, Jack Allen Bryant of Snyder and Jimmy Don Bryant of Monahans; a sister, Bobbie Doris McKinney of Snyder; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

KERRVILLE - Services for Velma Vae Toler Rieger, 92, of Kerrville will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Grimes Funeral Chapels with the Rev. David McFadden officiating.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, at her residence.
She was born July 11, 1906, in Ashland, Okla. She moved to Kerrville from Lubbock. She married
Joe Bailey Rieger on Aug. 2, 1924, in Lubbock. He died Oct. 3, 1986. She farmed in Slide. She was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lubbock.
Survivors include a daughter, Donnie Rieger of Center Point; two sons, Jim Joe of the Villages, Fla., and Randal Lee of Lubbock; a sister, Bobbie Whorton of Visalia, Calif.; two brothers, Thomas Toler of Wenatchee, Wash., and Roger Toler of Orondo, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Resthaven Memorial Park.

She was born July 1, 1916, in Tokio. She married
Amos Benjamin Smith on Oct. 3, 1931, in Lovington, N.M. He died Feb. 20, 1992. She was raised in Tokio. She was a member of Tokio Baptist Church and she taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. A son, Amos Lavon, died Dec. 23, 1962.
Survivors include two sons, Olan of Kermit and Gary Joe of Brownfield; two daughters, Latrell McDonnell of Plains and Kay Ellison of Lovington, N.M.; a brother, J.H. Snodgrass of Tokio; two sisters, Dorothy Jones of Tokio and Delores Hays of Lancaster; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

He was born March 12, 1920, in Flatonia. He was a Baptist. He worked in Civil Service. He moved to Big Spring from Abilene.

Donna Jacobson
WAYNESBORO, Pa. - Services for Donna Coffman Jacobson, 49, of Waynesboro were Feb. 6 in Edmond, Okla.
She died Dec. 21, 1998, in Jefferson Center Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.
She was born June 29, 1949, in El Paso. She graduated from Westside High School in York, Pa. She attended Oklahoma Christian College in Edmond, Okla., Northeastern Christian College in Villanova, Pa., and Murray State University in Murray, Ky. She was a tutor with the Upward Bound Program at Murray State. She worked for Hospice as a licensed practical nurse in Kentucky and Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Mark Paul McWane of Edmond and Dru Michael McWane of Louisville, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Michelle M. Rife and Linda D. Rohne, both of Waynesboro; two stepsons, Gerald A. Jacobson Jr. of Hagerstown, Md., and Andy R. Jacobson of Waynesboro, Pa.; her parents, Paul and Ruth Coffman of Edmond; a brother, Charles Coffman of Lubbock; a sister, Barbara John of Kansas City, Mo.; and eight step grandchildren.

SUN CITY WEST, Ariz. - Memorial services for Gerald "Jerry" A. Smith, 73, of Sun City West, Ariz., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Camino Del Sol Funeral Chapel.
Smith died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Sun City West.
He was born Sept. 2, 1925, in Minneapolis, Minn. He moved to Arizona in 1981 from Bayside, Wis. He was a district manager in the automotive industry, retiring in 1980. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Joan E. Smith; a daughter, Julie Smith-Morrow of Lubbock; two sons, Scott of Maple Grove, Minn., and Bruce Smith of Hayward, Wis.; a brother, Richard L. Smith of Minneapolis; and eight grandchildren.
