SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at the Edith Ford cemetery in Canadian, with Rev. Bill Sparks, pastor of the Union Church of Spearman, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Cain was born February 12, 1913 in Montague County, Texas. He had been a resident of Lefors since 1930 where he was a rancher for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorene May Bridwell Cain in 1979, and his second wife, Betty Reed Cain in 1989.
SURVIVORS: 3 Sons: Richard Cain of Gage, Oklahoma, Dean Cain of Rainier, Washington, and Tom Cain of Spearman. 1 Sister: Toots Windick of Fresno, California. 3 Brothers: Nelson Cain and Dickey Cain, both of Fresno, California, and Stiner Cain of Amarillo. 13 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren.
Birdie Hutsell

DIED: August 7, 2002, in Pampa, Texas
SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM Monday at the Groom cemetery, with Rev. Randy McCormack of Henrietta, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hutsell was born August 27, 1909 in Sebastian, Arkansas. She married
Leonard Hutsell in 1930 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He preceded her in death in 1977. She was a clerk for TG&Y; from 1948 until she retired in 1975. She moved to Groom later that year where she lived until 1993 when she moved to Pampa.
SURVIVORS: 2 Sons: Ralph Hutsell of Groom, and John Hutsell of Culver City, California. 2 Daughters: Verna Lay of Royse City, and Shirley McCormack of Henrietta. 12 Grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Myrle V. Hunter

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Hunter was born September 26, 1909 in Iowa. She married
Floyd Hunter on November 4, 1932 in Canadian. He preceded her in death in 1958. She came to Pampa in 1949 from Mobeetie where she lived until 1997 when she moved to the La Grange and Marble Falls area. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Pampa. She was a nurse's aide for 14 years at Highland General Hospital in Pampa.
SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Verena Lewallen of Kingsland, and Jeanie Caudle of Del Valle. 1 Brother: Verne Lohberger of Allison. 1 Sister: Dorothy Walker of Wheeler. 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great-Grandchildren.

Orin Odessa McPhillips

Scott Penrod, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Pampa, officiating. Graveside rites are courtesy of Pampa Chapter #65 Order of the Eastern Star, and arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. McPhillips was born June 14, 1918 in Hutchinson County, Texas, to Clayton and Sallie B. Mathis. She married
John J. McPhillips, Sr., on August 26, 1959 in Pampa. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1997. She was a retired nurse. She was a 55-year Endow Member and Past Worthy Matron of the Top O? Texas Chapter #1064 Order of the Eastern Star in Pampa. She was an Honoree Life Member of the Elks Lodge, and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Conroe. She served in many offices and participated in many patriotic ceremonies. She had a very loving and loyal heart. She was a true Texas cowgirl who grew up on the range learning values, respect and courage to endure throughout her life. She loved life and enjoyed helping others. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sallie Jane McPhillips.
SURVIVORS: Daughter: Evelyn A. McCauley Christensen and husband Charles J. Christensen of Ingram. Son: John J. McPhillips and wife Linda McPhillips of Conroe. 4 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.

John L. Sinches

BIOGRAPHY: Mr. Sinches was born December 14, 1926 in Mineola, Texas. He had been a resident of Pampa most of his life. He was a custodian for the Gray County Courthouse for over 30 years. He also owned and operated a lawn service for many years. He was a member of the McCullough Street Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mandy Sinches in 1990.
SURVIVORS: 3 Daughters: Adella Sinches of Pampa, Lola Price and Shirley Sinches, both of Amarillo. 2 Sons: J. L. Sinches of Amarillo, and Benny Sinches of Pampa. 2 Sisters: Ada May Murray of Pampa, and Mary M. Mack of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Clark was born October 12, 1910 in Aubrey, Texas. She had been a resident of Pampa since the late 1920's. She married
Eldon Clark in 1930 in Pampa. He preceded her in death in 1989. She was a homemaker and a 50-year member of the Pampa Home Demonstration Club. She was a member of the Hobart Baptist Church.
SURVIVORS: 1 Daughter: Mrs. Charles "Billie" Walsh of Denver, Colorado. 2 Sons: Tommy Clark and Rick Clark, both of Pampa. 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren.

BIOGRAPHY: Mrs. Keeton was born February 19, 1930 in Canadian, Texas, to Elmer & Alice Brewer. She was raised in Wheeler, Texas by her aunt and uncle, Lucy and Andy Markham. She had been a resident of Pampa since 1948. She married
Doyle Keeton on August 28, 1949 in Raton, New Mexico. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter Joy Lavelle Keeton in March of 1951, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
SURVIVORS: Husband: Doyle Keeton of the home; 1 Son: Allan Keeton of Pampa; 1 Daughter: Annette Hahn of Pampa; 1 Sister: Verlyen Carlisle of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; 2 Brothers: Bill Brewer and Gene Brewer, both of Amarillo; 6 Grandchildren & 1 Great Grandson.
