He died Monday, April 12, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 14, 1933, in Dawson County. He married
Margaret Wilson on Sept. 21, 1952, in Lamesa. He was a farmer and a ginner. He was a 40-year member of Klondike Baptist Church. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 909 and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He was past president of the Klondike Independent School District board of trustees. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Braswell of Lamesa, Rhonda Heald of Lamesa and Sandra Bokemeyer of Bloomington, Ill.; two brothers, Robert of Midland and Jimmy of Lamesa; and five grandchildren.
Flossie Seale
Graveside services for Flossie Seale, 85, of San Angelo will be at 2 p.m. today in the City of Lubbock cemetery with the Rev. Roy Ramon and Rev. Tommy Allen officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, in Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.
She moved to San Angelo from Lubbock. She was a Baptist and a homemaker. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters. She married
Robert H. Seale on Sept. 18, 1926, in Commerce. He died June 24, 1978.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Kitchens of San Angelo; a son, Robert D. of San Angelo; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Harry Joplin Sr.
DENVER CITY - Services for Harry Bell Joplin Sr., 97, of Denver City will be at 1 p.m. Friday in Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Auld officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven cemetery in Lovington, N.M., under direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
Joplin died Monday, March 1, 1999, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 16, 1902, in Lebanon, Tenn. He married
Nona Grace Joplin on June 6, 1930, in Portales, N.M. She died Oct. 31, 1985. He was a custodian for the Lovington schools. He moved to Denver City in 1979. He was a Baptist. A son, Harry Jr., and a daughter, Wynelle Bishop, preceded him in death.
Survivors include three sons, De Lane of Scranton, Billy of Prescott Valley, Ariz., and Lavoyd of Bloomfield, N.M.; a daughter, Vonda Day of Denver City; a brother, Ogell Joplin of Levelland; 16 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Isabel Gonzales
HEREFORD - Rosary for Isabel Gonzales, 73, of Hereford will be at 7 p.m. today in Rose Chapel of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Monsignor Orvill Blum officiating.
Burial will be in St. Anthony's Catholic cemetery.
He died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, in Northwest Texas Hospital.
He was born Nov. 19, 1925, in Ballinger. He married
Elida Gonzales on May 28, 1946, in Ballinger. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and he received the Campaign Ribbon, three Bronze Stars, Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart, Victory Ribbon and two overseas service bars. He worked for Holly Sugar and Frito Lay.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Melinda E. Guerrero of Belen, N.M.; a son, Nathan Thomas Perez of Amarillo; two brothers, Rafael Gonzales of San Angelo and Gabino Gonzales of Bakersfield, Calif.; a sister, Andrea Pena of Ballinger; and four grandchildren.
Opie Gibson
ASPERMONT - Services for Opie Dalby Gibson, 94, of Aspermont will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Reinbolt officiating. The Rev. Jeff Sedberry will assist.

She died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in an Aspermont hospital.
She married
Charles L. Gibson on May 20, 1921. He died Sept. 11, 1977. She was a member of Stonewall County Senior Citizens and First United Methodist Church. She was active in the United Methodist Women. She was a past president of the Aspermont Phoenix Club, and she held a district office in the TFWC.
Survivors include a daughter, Dorothy Jones of Aspermont; a son, Charles D. "Hoot" Gibson of Goldthwaite; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Billy Don Kelley on Feb. 24, 1984, in Seminole. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Hegi died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Lubbock.
He was born Feb. 20, 1915, in Plainview. He graduated from Petersburg High School and Texas Tech University. He married
Julia Johnson Pharr on July 17, 1971, in Tahoka. He was a farmer in Plainview, Happy Union and Petersburg. He was a volunteer at Methodist Hospital, and he was a 50-year member of Petersburg Masonic Lodge. He was a charter member of the Lubbock Scottish Rite Bodies, and he was a former member of the Chapter Council Commandry and Shrine Lodges. He was a member of First Baptist Church and Timothy Sunday School Class. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Shelley Ann Kemp of Lubbock; a stepson, Don Pharr of Dallas; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Sharon Hill on Dec. 9, 1987, in Brownfield. He was a member of Lorenzo First Baptist Church. He graduated from Lorenzo High School and Lubbock Christian College. He attended Texas Tech. He was a master of the Lorenzo Masonic Lodge 1144, and he was a member of Lorenzo Lions Club. He served on the Lorenzo City Council for six years.
Survivors include his wife; his parents, Bill and Syble Pickard of Estacado; two sons, Jimmy Davis of Comfort and Scott Davis of Anton; a daughter, Karen Pinerton of Dallas; two brothers, Ed of Converse and Philip of Lorenzo; a sister, Ruthie Ann Barton of Lubbock; and seven grandchildren.

She was born Oct. 10, 1916, in Tahlequah, Okla. She graduated from Littlefield High School. She married
Scott D. Williams on Nov. 6, 1939, in Clovis, N.M. He died in 1970. They moved to California to work in the defense plants. She worked for Hughes Aircraft Plant. She moved to Muleshoe and worked for Ladd Hardware Co. She was a homemaker.
She moved to Petersburg, and she worked in the school lunchroom as a cook. She moved to Seagraves where she worked in the office of a lumber yard. She was a nurses aide in the Methodist Nursing Center in Clinton, Okla. She moved to Elk City in 1995. She was a member of Clinton First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Sibyl Hillock of Elk City and LaNell Frisse of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; a sister, Lola Latimer of Midwest City, Okla.; a brother, Otis Neel of Friona; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
Thomas Walker
Services for Thomas D. "Bill" Walker, 89, of Shallowater will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Resthaven Funeral Home's Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Mitch Wilson, pastor of Shallowater's First Baptist Church, officiating.

Walker died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in Lubbock.
He was born March 1, 1910, in Paris, Texas. He moved to Shallowater from Paris in 1952. He married
Lillie G. Davidson on Dec. 18, 1929, in Hugo, Okla. She died Feb. 28, 1988. He was a musician, and he retired from Johnson Manufacturing in 1976. He was a member of Shallowater First Baptist Church. Two children, Wesley Morgan Walker and Shirley Ann Walker, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two sons, Tom of Shallowater and Gary of Granbury; a daughter, Nancy Boone of Lubbock; two sisters, Nannie Smith of Deport and Alene Claypool of Amarillo; a brother, Harold of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Wilburn Williams

Williams died Monday, March 1, 1999, in Slaton Care Center.
He was born Sept. 9, 1909, in St. Louis, Mo. He married
Verna Sophia Kumpf on Oct. 17, 1935, in St. Louis. He was a salesman for a tool equipment manufacturing firm until retiring. He moved to Ransom Canyon in 1992. He was a member of Unity Church of Lubbock and the Algabil Masonic Lodge which merged with the Freedom Mason Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kenneth A. of Ransom Canyon; a daughter, Marilyn Sue Henne of Sunnyvale, Calif.; a brother, Arthur of El Toro, Calif.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
