Services for Tressie King Morrison, 79, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at The Church of The Living God P.G&T; with Overseer Willie Barber officiating and the Rev. E.L. Harris assisting.
Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens in Woodrow under direction of Ossie Curry Funeral Home.
She died Monday, May 3, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 20, 1920, in Commerce. She married
Thelmer "Jack" Morrison on Jan. 20, 1969, in Lubbock. He died Aug. 25, 1991. She attended Commerce public schools.
She worked at East Texas State University in Commerce for many years, before moving to Lubbock with her children. She was a former member of St. James Baptist Church, later uniting with The Church of The Living God P.G&T.;, where she served on the usher board and worked with the pastor's aide.
Survivors include a daughter, Irene Evans of Lubbock; a son, Overseer Willie B. Barber of Lubbock; a sister, Verda King Smith of Lubbock; two granddaughters; two grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight at Ossie Curry Funeral Home.
Melvin Daniel
MULESHOE (Special) Services for Melvin "Hap" Daniel, 96, of Muleshoe will be at 11 a.m. Friday in New Vision Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. David McIntire, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Fairview cemetery in Memphis under direction of Ellis Funeral Home of Muleshoe.
Daniel died Wednesday, April 21, 1999, in Muleshoe Area Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 25, 1902, in Prescott, Ariz. He married
Iva Lee Langley on Feb. 12, 1921, in Rains County. She died Oct. 25, 1949. He married
Maggie Thompson on March 13, 1951, in Clovis, N.M. She died Dec. 4, 1983. He married
Frankie Williams on Sept. 4, 1984. He moved to the Muleshoe area in 1949. He moved to Bowie in 1969, and he returned to Muleshoe in 1980. He was a member of New Vision Church of the Nazarene of Muleshoe. He was manager of the Muleshoe Paymaster Cotton Gin until retiring in 1968. A son, T.A., preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Curtis of Balch Springs; two daughters, Joy Williams of Muleshoe and Jo Vivian Soape of Grand Saline; a sister, Nola Tull of Edgewood; a brother, Doyle Daniel of Dallas; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Betty Heller
PLAINVIEW - Services for Betty Jean Heller, 73, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church Chapel with the Rev. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating. J. Dean McNamara of Vista Care Family Hospice will assist.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park under direction of Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
She died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in Care Inn of Plainview.
She was born May 27, 1925, in Meadville, Mo. She married
Everette Heller on April 13, 1946, in Amarillo. She moved to Hart in 1951 and to Plainview in 1980. She retired from farming in 1980. She and her husband started Heller Insurance Agency. She was a church pianist at Edmonson First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Gary of Plainview and Jerry of Dimmitt; a sister, Mary Dewey of Meadville, Mo.; a brother, Dick Stelplugh of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

John Loyola

Loyola died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 1, 1935, in Snyder. He married
Jean Hunt on Feb. 19, 1957, in Snyder. He delivered for Roe's Furniture for nearly 20 years.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Linda Key and Lisa Tate, both of Snyder, and Debbie David of Abilene; a son, Tracy of Snyder; a sister, Mary Orosco of San Angelo; a brother, Vincent of Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park cemetery.
Luna died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in University Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born July 8, 1964, in Muleshoe. He moved to Littlefield from Muleshoe in 1998. He was a brick layer and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Gonzales of Littlefield; a son, Matthew of Muleshoe; four sisters, Sue Ann Fitzgerald of Garland, Jackie De La Garza of Lubbock, Elizabeth Gonzales and Amanda Gonzales, both of Littlefield; a brother, Tony Jr. of England.

Ellie Mae Freeman on Sept. 12, 1947, at Farwell. He lived in Littlefield for 52 years and worked for the Littlefield Fire Department for 30 years. He was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church in Littlefield.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Don Hill of Woodhaven, Mich., and LeRoy Hill and Robert Hill, both of Littlefield; two daughters, Ann Robison of Whitharral and Sue Fulcher of Eula; two stepbrothers, Bobby Cameron of Ore City and Eugene Cameron of Atlanta, Texas; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Robbie Moore

She died Monday, April 19, 1999, in Lubbock.
She was born Sept. 18, 1931, in Somerville. She was a nurse for 39 years at Littlefield Hospital and later at St. Mary Family Healthcare Center in Littlefield. She married
J.C. Moore in 1957 in Littlefield. He died Feb. 4, 1999. She was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where she was president of the choir, church secretary and church treasurer. She was a member of the Nurses Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen Rosemond and Georgia Jackson, both of Houston; a son, Johnny Williams of Houston; two brothers, Walter Jackson of Giddings and Richard Jackson of Houston; two sisters, Ida Harris and Josephine Singleton, both of Hockley; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Marcus Wilke
WILSON - Services for Marcus Wilke, 87, of Wilson will be at 4 p.m. today in St. John Lutheran Church with the Rev. Linda Alessandri, intern pastor, officiating.

Wilke died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in Lynn County Hospital.
He was born Oct. 11, 1911, in Bell-Williamson County. He moved to the Southland community in 1921 from Bartlett. He was a trustee for Southland Independent School District. He was a cotton farmer until retiring in 1964. He moved to Wilson from Kingsland in 1979. He married
Sidonia Mueller on Nov. 12, 1936, in Wilson. She died May 21, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Delmar of Slaton; a brother, Edmund of Lubbock; two sisters, Bertha Betts of Levelland and Myrtle Stabeno of Slaton; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.

Faye Jones

She was born Feb. 24, 1910, in Grayson County. She married
Jack Jones on June 29, 1929, in Haskell. He died Dec. 27, 1972. She attended Haskell schools. She lived in Haskell, Borger, Marfa and Lubbock. She moved to Plainview in 1947. She worked for Plainview schools as a cafeteria worker, retiring in 1975. She was a member of New Covenant Church of Plainview. She moved to Olton in 1993.
Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Hayes of Plainview; a son, John of Sedona, Ariz.; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to Runningwater Draw Care Center in Olton or to Vista Hospice Care Foundation.
Jessie Hernandez
Memorial services for Jessie Cantu Hernandez, 43, of Grand Rapids, Mich., will be Saturdayv in Calvillo Funeral Chapel in Lubbock with Dan Davila, pastor of Sanctuary House of Praise, officiating.
Cremation was under direction of Calvillo Funeral Home of Lubbock.
Hernandez died Feb. 16, 1999, in St. Mary Hospital in Grand Rapids.
He was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Tahoka. He married
Clara Berkley in Grand Rapids, Mich. He was a welder. He moved to Grand Rapids from Lubbock in 1982. He was a Catholic.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, John Luis and Jesse Jr., both of Lubbock, Fredrick and Ruben, both of Grand Rapids; six daughters, Tracy Hernandez and Julie Hernandez, both of Lubbock, Sheryl Engstrom, Becky Engstrom, Tonya Engstrom and Anisa Engstrom, all of Grand Rapids; two sisters, Herminia Sosa of Lubbock and Janie Sandoval of Mount Pleasant; and 12 grandchildren.
Freda Holton
Graveside services for Freda Daffodine Holton, 80, of Seminole will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in City of Lubbock cemetery with the Rev. Mike Hill officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Seminole.
She died Feb. 14, 1999, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
She was born April 23, 1918, in Bonham. She married
David Holton on May 13, 1935, in Lubbock. They moved to Seminole in 1943. He died on Dec. 18, 1998.
Survivors include three children, Sandra Hodge of Odessa, Jacky Holton of Conrow and Jimmy Holton of Dimebox; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
