Funeral services for Louisa C. Ramon, 62, of Lubbock will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Andres Mendoza officiating.
Rosary will be 7 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will be at Englewood cemetery under the direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. She died Saturday, July 5, 2008 at home. She was born on March 24, 1946 in Grandfalls. She married
Jessie B. Ramon on July 9, 1966 in Grandfalls. He died on April 30, 1983.
Mrs. Ramon was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for 26 years.
Survivors include four sons, Ralph Ramon of Snyder; Reuben Ramon of Floydada; Rene Ramon and Ricardo Ramon of Lubbock; daughter, Robin Marin of Lubbock; two brothers, Pete (Pedro) Corrales and Nat Corrales, Jr., of Lubbock; two sisters, Maria (Mary) Reyna of Hart; and Sofia Tefertiller of Pyote; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Gabrielle Michele Aviles
Funeral Mass for Gabrielle Michele Aviles, eight-month old infant daughter of Steven Aviles and Kendra Hearn of Lubbock, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 9th at Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Resthaven. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Gabrielle was born on Nov. 21, 2007, in Lubbock, and passed away on Sunday, July 6th, at her residence.
Survivors include her parents; brother and sister, Nathan and Anyesia Aviles; grandparents, Mark "Poppy" and Carmen Hale of Lubbock, Mike Aviles of Uvalde, Milton and Renata Hearn of Lubbock; great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Aviles of Uvalde, and Georgia Hearn of Village Mills; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Bobbie Michelle Brewer
Bobbie Michelle Brewer of O'Donnell departed this life on August 2, 2008 at the age of 14 years. She was born August 30, 1993 in Lubbock to Thedo Burleson and Beth Carole (Morgan) Brewer. Bobbie attended school in O'Donnell where she was involved in Cheerleading, Band, UIL, Science Fair, One Act Play, and Girl Scouts. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in O'Donnell.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, Thedo and Beth Brewer; two sisters, Bonnie Brewer of O'Donnell and Becca Brewer of Boston, Mass.; grandparents, Dale and Carolyn Morgan; and Glen and Bertha Brewer.
Visitation will be Monday, August 4, 2008 at White Funeral Home in O'Donnell. Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in O'Donnell with Rev. Toni Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in the Draw cemetery in Draw.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund at 612 5th Street, O'Donnell, Tx 79351.

April Lynn Lam
April Lynn Lam of Tahoka departed this life on Aug. 2, 2008, at the age of 14 years. She was born Nov. 22, 1993, in Tahoka to My Chi and Bethel Fay Lam. April attended Tahoka Middle School where she was involved in cheerleading, band, basketball and cross county. She also played summer league softball. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Tahoka.
Those left to cherish her memory are her parents, My Chi and Bethel; two sisters, Ashley and Tiffany, both of Tahoka; and one brother, Michael Lam of Lubbock.
Visitation will be held after 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008, at White Funeral Home in Tahoka.
Celebration of Life Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at the Church of Christ in Tahoka with Ron Fant officiating. Interment will follow at Tahoka cemetery.
Donations may be made to the April Lam fund at the First National Bank of Tahoka, at 1601 South 1st Street, Tahoka, Texas 79373.

Angelo Shane Allen
Services for Army PFC, Angelo Shane Allen, 20, of Lubbock, will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12 in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Military interment rites will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven.
A Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Monday at 7 p.m.
Angelo passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 5 in Killeen, following an auto accident.
Angelo was born on Oct. 29, 1987 in Aurora, Ill. He was an honors graduate of Estacado High School where he was active with Acadeca and the ROTC programs. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, July 13, 2006, and was serving with the 1st Cavalry Division, C Company, at Fort Hood. He married
the former Malini Langi on April 13, 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Malini; mother, Sophia T. Conti; and two brothers, Damian Allen and Xavier Martinez, all of Lubbock; father, Shane Dion Allen; two brothers, Rene and Dion Allen; two sisters, Kiana and Jelisa Allen, all of Aurora, Ill.; grandmothers, Mae Allen of Aurora, Ill.; Gaudencia Rodriquez of Lubbock; and grandfather, Antonio Rodriquez of Lubbock.
A Memorial Fund has been established for Shane at Lubbock National Bank.
Gary C. Martin
Gary C. Martin, 77, of Lubbock passed away Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2008.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Ira and Selena Martin; Thelma and Nannie Bell; brother, John; and son, Christopher.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Jo; and two sons, Terry and wife Marguerite of Lubbock; and Paul and wife Jannine Martin of Belleview, Wash.; three sisters, Geneva of Lubbock; Kyle Helms of Hubbard; Ira Lena Simmons of Sweetwater; two brothers, Herschell and Winston Martin of Lubbock; grandson, Zachary Martin of Arlington; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Southcrest Baptist Church with Pastors Jerry Wilson and Otis Cooks officiating.
James Jackson Denton
James Jackson Denton of Idalou, died Aug. 13, 2008. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Idalou cemetery followed by a meal at 5 p.m. and memorial service at 7 p.m. at the Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church.
Jack was born Sept. 28, 1932, in Cone to Cypert and Mavis Allene (McFarland) Denton. Jack joined the National Guard in 1952, served in the as a Corporal US Army from1953 until 1955, and the US Army Reserve until 1960.
Jack was service manager for J.D. Hufstedler Truck Company in Lubbock from 1955 until 1984. He worked as a Service Manager for Dutch Wilkinson Olds/Cadillac in Littlefield and West Texas Truck Center in Lubbock. In 1988 he became the body shop manager for Bruckner Truck Sales of Lubbock until his retirement in 2008.
Jack attended numerous schools. He was a graduate of the Dealer Manpower Development Program for General Motors (1971), General Motors University of Automotive Management (1975), Mechanic Certificate of Automotive Excellence at Texas Tech University (1977), National Parts & Service Advisory Board (1975-1976), and Accredited Automotive Manager with the Automotive Management Institute (1999).
Jack was married
to Linda Johnson Stanton on April 12, 1980, in Idalou. They shared six children. He was a member and deacon of the Lubbock Primitive Baptist Church. He also served on the Board for the Primitive Baptist Foundation at Cone. He served on the Board of Trustees of Harmony Hill and Harmony Plains Singing Schools. He was lovingly called "PaPa Jack" by everyone.
Jack's hobbies included vehicle restoration, bluegrass/gospel music, motorcycling, and his pets.
James Jackson Denton was our hero!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cypert Denton and Mavis Allene (McFarland) Denton; a son, Timothy Brooks Stanton; and a granddaughter, Shayli Marie Stanton.
Survivors include his wife of 28 years, Linda; a son, Timothy James Denton and wife Katherine of Lubbock; a daughter, Julie Denton of Lubbock; two other sons, Matthew Stanton and wife Katrina and Daniel Stanton and wife Stacy; and another daughter, MeLin Stanton Bartlett and husband Shawn, all of Idalou.
"Papa Jack" had 10 grandchildren, Casey and Evan Denton of Lubbock, Kyla and Garret Stanton, Justin, Blane, Shaina, Jackson Stanton, Nathan and Ethan Bartlett, all of Idalou.
The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Sanders Funeral Home.

Patricia Dunaway
IDALOU — Graveside services for Patricia Dunaway, 60, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Idalou cemetery under the direction of Chapel of Angels Funeral Home.
She died Monday, Nov. 19, 2001.
She was born April 13, 1941, in Stamford. She attended Lubbock High School. She married
Frank Dunaway on June 13, 1960, in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Toni Dunaway of Lubbock and Tama Dunaway of Dallas; a son, Tim Dunaway of Lubbock; two sisters, Freedonia Paschall of Lubbock and Rose Richardson of Lawton, Okla.; a brother, Floyd Hardin of Childress; and one grandson.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Chapel of Angels Funeral Home.
