Mack Glass
Services for Mack Glass, 73, of Lubbock will be at noon Monday in Resthaven Mausoleum with the Rev. Roger Garrett officiating.
Entombment will be under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Glass died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 8, 1925, in Vernon. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a truck driver with Lubbock Manufacturing for many years. He was a member of the Lubbock Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. He married
Dorothy Mitchell in Lubbock, and she died in 1983. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Bingham of Wimberley and Betty Vaughn of Austin; two stepsons, James Ward and Larry Ward, both of Lubbock; three brothers, Hack and Leonard, both of Nacona, and Price of Oregon; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Lubbock Veterans of Foreign Wars Post.
Fernando Mora
MULESHOE - Memorial service and rosary for Fernando Mora, 69, will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Ellis Funeral Home Chapel.
Cremation was under direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
Mora died Sunday, Feb. 28, 1999, at his residence.
He was born March 1, 1929, in Brownsville. He married
Maria Covarrubias on Jan. 9, 1946, in Brownsville. He moved to Muleshoe from Brownsville in 1957. He was a Catholic and a farm laborer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jim and Max, both of Amarillo; two daughters, Hope Gonzalez and Connie Porras, both of Amarillo; two sisters, Ester Garcia and Eloisa Fernandez, both of Brownsville; 23 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Ronald Frizzell
SILVERTON (Special) Services for Ronald Colton Frizzell, infant son of Cammie Frizzell, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Rock Creek Church of Christ with John Francis officiating and J.D. Nance assisting.
Burial will be in Silverton cemetery under direction of Myers-Long Funeral Directors.
He died Tuesday, April 13, 1999, at Plainview.
Survivors include his mother; two sisters, Camisha Wilson and Destiny Wilson, both of Silverton; his grandparents, Jerry and Sandra Frizzell of Silverton; and his great-grandparents, Snooks and Margaret Frizzell of Silverton.
Lyndsi Miller
WHITNEY - Services for Lyndsi J. Kim Miller, 18, of Whitney were at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Whitney with Bruce Martin, the Rev. Herb Thompson and the Rev. Allan Lane officiating.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. today in Englewood cemetery in Slaton under direction of Marshall and Marshall Funeral Directors.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, in Waco.
She was born April 11, 1980, in Lubbock. She graduated from Whitney High School in 1998, where she was a state qualifier in cross country. She was active in track, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, FCA officer, FFA, PALS, the German Club and the hill County Youth Collaboration. She was a top ten finalist for the 1997 Laywitness for Christ Christian Athlete Award. She received the Athletic Booster Scholarship, Hugh O'Brien Youth Leadership Award, Who's Who, Class Favorite and Best Smile. She worked for Truly Texas and Spencer's. She attended McLennan Community College, and she worked at West Tele-Communications. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sipper Bonner and Jay Bonner of Whitney; her father and stepmother, Jim Miller and Karen Miller of Fort Worth; three brothers, Shayne Miller of Amarillo, Chad Bonner and Dempsey Bonner, both of Whitney; a sister, Dacy Bonner of Whitney; two stepbrothers, Scott Morgan of Austin and Heath Morgan of Fort Worth; a stepsister, Kelley Corder of Fort Worth; her paternal grandparent, Spade Cooley of New Deal; her step grandmother, Frances Bonner of Whitney.

Myrtle Creamer
MULESHOE - Services for Myrtle Creamer, 91, of Muleshoe will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Primitive Baptist Church with elder Bernard Gowens and elder Cleveland Bass officiating.
Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park cemetery under direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
She died Monday, March 1, 1999, in Muleshoe Area Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 15, 1907, in Cottle County. She married
Willie F. Creamer on Nov. 6, 1927, in Cottle County. He died June 11, 1981. She moved to the Earth Community from Cottle County. She moved to Muleshoe in 1948. She was a member of Muleshoe Primitive Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker. A daughter, Cleta Jacobson, died Aug. 3, 1995. An infant son, Tommy Mart, died Nov. 18, 1928.
Survivors include four sons, James of Fort Worth, Forest of Las Vegas, Nev., Charles Henry of Muleshoe and Travis of Dallas; five daughters, Sue Kemp of Amarillo, Phyllis Silvia of Las Vegas, Nev., Carolyn Herrington of Cozad, Nev., Monnie McBride of Dallas and Jan Schneider of Hawkins; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

Santos Escamilla
Mass for Santos Aguirre Escamilla, 71, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Phillips Catholic Church in Shallowater with the Rev. Nicholas Rendon officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Chapel of Angels Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
She was born March 29, 1927, in DeWalt. She married
Inez Escamilla Sr. in Wharton on May 2, 1942. She was a homemaker and a Catholic. She had been a resident of the Lubbock area since 1958.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Enos Escamilla Jr. and Richard Escamilla, both of Lubbock; six daughters, Eudelia Valverde of Shallowater, Rosemary Galicia, Alice Florez, Delores Vecchio and Josie Trevino, all of Lubbock, and Lupe Sanchez of Amarillo; two sisters, Juanita Aguirre of McKinney and Margaret Gonzalez of Yuba City, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the church from Monday afternoon until service time.

A wake service for Annie Ruth Overstreet, 53, of Lubbock will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. today in the Tull Thornton Chapel.

John D. Wortham in Snyder. He died April 22, 1993. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Beth Freeman of Oklahoma City, Lillian Vails of Luther, Okla., and Lavern Welch and Wanda Cody, both of Snyder; a son, Ronnie Gasway of Dallas; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Martin Velasquez
Martin Cruz Velasquez, 66, of El Riachuelo died Feb. 20, 1999, in Durango, Mexico.
He was born Jan. 18, 1933, in Ciudad Ocampo, Tamaulipas, Mexico. He worked for Combustibles y Asfaltos as a truck driver.
Survivors include three sons, Alan Cruz of Atlantic City, N.J., Martin Trevino of Pleasantville, N.J., and Enrique Trevino of Lubbock; and two daughters, Miriam Enriquez of Lubbock and Doreyllde Cruz of Monterrey, Mexico.
Cleo McCloud
Graveside services for Cleo Mae McCloud, 89, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in McCaulley cemetery in McCaulley with the Revs. Bynum Akins and Ferris Akins officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
She died Friday, Feb. 26, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 28, 1910, in McCaulley. She married
E.C. McCloud on June 10, 1934, in Anson. He died in 1960. She moved to Lubbock from Grand Falls. She graduated from McCaulley High School and received a bachelor's degree from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. She received a master's degree from Sul Ross University in Alpine. She taught school, and she was a volleyball coach in the Lubbock schools. She was a member of the Lubbock PTA and Highland Baptist Church.
Survivors include seven sisters, Icey Snellgrove and Lillian Gotcher, both of Lubbock, Nola Vymola of Fort Worth, Latane Robertson of San Angelo, Corrine Pinson of Birmingham, Ala., Katy Borron of Fredricksburg and Evelyn Lewellen of Austin; and four brothers, Wesley Akins of Powder Springs, Ga., Bynum Akins of Dallas, Ferris Akins of Ballinger and Bill Akins of Stanton.

James Welborn
Memorial services for James M. Welborn, 91, of Lubbock will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Jackson and the Rev. Willie Griffin officiating.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
He died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, in East Texas Medical Center in Quitman.
He was born in Alvarado. He attended Alvarado schools and was married
to Anna Mae Jones there in 1928. They moved to Fort Worth where he was in the insurance business, and they moved to Brownfield in 1936 where he began his career as an independent oil operator. Later, they moved to Lubbock where he became associated with Jack Markham and John Christmann. His wife died Feb. 27, 1962. On Oct. 10, 1978, he was married
to Ernestine Shotwell Payne in Lubbock. He had ranched in Colorado and East Texas. He was a member and usher at First United Methodist Church, a member of the Board of Stewards, the finance committee and the building committee.
Survivors include his wife; a son, J.T.S. Welborn of Lubbock; and a stepson, Clifford E. Payne Jr. of Lubbock.

Martha Bowli

She died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, in Olathe.
She was born May 13, 1932, in Haskell. She moved to Olathe from Lubbock in 1998. She retired from the Lubbock schools as a cafeteria worker after 30 years. She graduated from Longview High School in 1950. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Scarlett Thompson of Olathe; and a granddaughter, Lacy M. Thompson of Olathe.
