ROSCOE - Services for Marlin L. Hestand, 83, of Sweetwater will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Truman Friday and Keith Clifton officiating.
Burial will be in Roscoe cemetery under direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Hestand died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Rolling Plains Hospital in Sweetwater.
He was born June 15, 1915, in Van Zandt County. He married
Mattie Campbell on Sept. 11, 1933, in Snyder. He was a fork lift operator. He retired from Lone Star Industries after 30 years of service. He was a Baptist. He moved to Sweetwater from Roscoe in 1996.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David of Texline; three daughters, Dorothy Young of Sweetwater, Betty Nance of Yuma, Ariz., and Margaret Baker of Woodbridge, Va.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Raymond Barrioz
LAMESA - Services for Raymond Barrioz, 42, of Lamesa will be at 10 a.m. today in House of Prayer with Lee Iglesias, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Lamesa cemetery under direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels.
Barrioz died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 23, 1956, in Lamesa. He worked in the oil field, and he was a farmer. An infant son, Raymond Jr., preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; seven daughters, Laura Barrioz, Felipa Trevino, Diana Barrioz, Amelia Barrioz, Hilda Barrioz, Sania Barrioz and Rubi Barrioz, all of Lamesa; four sons, Benito, Juan, Pedro and Raymundo, all of Lamesa; his mother, Amelia I. Barrioz of Lamesa; six sisters, Luisa Hernandez, Yolanda Lopez, Alicia McKnight, Jane Garza and Liz, all of Lamesa, and Marivel Medina of Kerrville; a brother, Pedro Barrioz of San Antonio; and nine grandchildren.
Steven Keesee
Services for Steven Lee Keesee, 43, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today in the Ford Chapel of First Baptist Church with the Rev. John Ballard officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
He died Saturday, May 15, 1999, at University Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 28, 1955. He was a graduate of Coronado High School and was a member of Faith Baptist Church and Alcoholics Anonymous. He was a lifelong resident of Lubbock. His father, former Lubbock County Sheriff D.L. "Sonny" Keesee, died June 5, 1998, and his mother, Claudette Keesee, died April 6, 1999.
Survivors include two brothers, Jim of Lubbock and Donnie of Bedford, and his paternal grandmother, Bertie Keesee of Lubbock.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm. to 1:30 p.m. today at the Ford Chapel.
Jean Campbell
Memorial services for Jean Cardinal Campbell, 68, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
She died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Las Vegas, Nev.
She was born May 24, 1930, in Floydada. She graduated from Floydada High School in 1946. She recently returned to Lubbock from Colorado Springs, Colo., after more than 25 years. She retired from the real estate business in 1985.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Field-Croop of Las Vegas, Nev.; a son, Rick Field of Carmel, Ind.; three brothers, John Cardinal of Lubbock, Fred Cardinal of Floydada and E.E. Cardinal of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister, Irene West of Sulphur, Okla.; and four grandchildren.

Mikell Cox
Mikell Ervin Cox, 47, of Lubbock died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
Cremation was under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
He was born March 17, 1951, in Littleton, Ill. He moved to Lubbock in 1996 from El Paso. He graduated from Moline High School in Illinois. He worked for Bigham Brothers Inc.
Survivors include two sons, Justin W. Cox of Moline, Ill., and David M. McCabe; and a grandson, Jacob Robert Cox.
Dewitt Smith
WOLFFORTH - Graveside services for Dewitt C. Smith, 86, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. today in Wolfforth cemetery under direction of Rest Lawn, Wilsons' Funeral Directors.
Smith died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in University Manor.
He was born Aug. 12, 1912, in Ashdown, Ark. He worked in the oil field for many years. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include four sons, Eugene of Ransom Canyon, Clinton of Vidor, Robert of Haughton, La., and Carlton of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Patricia Neel of Sugarland; 15 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Mary Oldham
Graveside services for Mary Ruth Lovelace Oldham, 84, of Lubbock will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the City of Lubbock cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Dave Treat, pastor of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Burial will be under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside.
She was born Nov. 27, 1914, in Bonham. She moved to Lubbock in 1923. She married
Lloyd Alton Oldham in 1937 in Lubbock. He died on July 27, 1968. She graduated from Lubbock High School. She was a homemaker and a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Mona Kay Lindly of El Paso, Carolyn Clifford of Atlanta, Ga., Ellen Planks of Santa Ana, Calif., and Jan Moore of Prescott, Ariz.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Gracie Fields
DUMAS - Services for Gracie Fields, 66, of Dumas will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Temple Baptist Church with burial in Northlawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Morrison Funeral Directors.
She died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo.
She was born June 25, 1932, in Cynthiana, Ky. She married
Wilburn Fields on Aug. 20, 1956, in Lawrenceburg, Ind. A daughter, Connie Fields, died in February 1979. She was a coin-operated laundry attendant and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Dumas.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Kathy Lindsey of Lubbock and Rachel Hinsley of Dumas; three sons, Carl of Lubbock, Johnny of Dumas and Roy of Grand Island, Neb.; a brother, Roy Debruler of Dayton, Ky.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was born April 10, 1925, in Lorenzo. She married
George Thomas on Jan. 25, 1960, in Lubbock. He died June 25, 1980. She moved to Lubbock from Lorenzo. She was a member of the Church of God in Christ, Ford Memorial Church of God in Christ and the Usher Board.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Byrd, Willie Byrd and Robert Byrd, all of Lubbock; a daughter, Katie Williams of Lubbock; three brothers, Norveal Young and Norman Young of Lubbock and Birtis Young of Lovington; two sisters, Mable Young and Opal Thomas, both of Lubbock; 16 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.

Leslie died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 1999, in a Lubbock hospital.
He was born Sept. 26, 1927, in Norrisco. He married
Joyce Manley on Oct. 29, 1949, in Dunlap. He attended First Assembly of God, and he was a mechanic and equipment operator for himself and for Cottle County. He worked in maintenance for the Paducah Independent School District, where he retired. He was a member of the Cottle County Rod and Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Rick of Paducah; two sisters, Yvonne Haggard of Arlington and Marlene Hill of Mansfield; and two grandsons.
