Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Head Family Funeral Home Chapel with Rudy Alvarado officiating.
Burial will be in Brownfield cemetery under direction of Head Family Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born May 15, 1939, in Del Rio. She married
Ignacio Alvarado on Sept. 9, 1974, in Seminole. She was a lifelong Texas resident and lived in Brownfield for 10 years, moving there from Seminole. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Ignacio Alvarado Jr., Frank Alvarado, Robert Alvarado, Billy Joe Alvarado and Frank Alvarado Jr., all of Brownfield; three daughters, Hope Jimenez, Mary Alvarado, and Flora Alvarado, all of Brownfield; a brother, Luis Rivera of Brownfield; two sisters, Delfina Garza of Seagraves and Frances Alvarado of Lubbock; 19 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Tara Edmonds
Memorial services for Tara Glenda Knighten Edmonds of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in New Hope Baptist Church.
She died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Newport News, Va. She attended Dunbar High School and Cameron College in Lawton, Okla.

She died Saturday, Sept. 25, 1999, in a Lubbock hospital.
She was born in Hamlin. She graduated from Aspermont High School in 1982. She was an LVN. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Carl and Opal Hulsey of Aspermont; three sons, Randell Morgan of Abilene, and Ryne Morgan and Reggie Morgan, both of Lubbock; and two brothers, Joey Hulsey of Lubbock and Carl Ray Hulsey of Birmingham, Ala.

She died Saturday, Feb. 20, 1999, in Woodward, Okla.
She was born Aug. 5, 1914, in Bridgeport, Ill. She married
Melvin Burkey on May 12, 1947, in Rawlins, Wyo. He preceded her in death. She attended the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a brother, Lawrence Noland of Cathys Valley, Calif.; and a sister, Laure Flannery of Elsobante, Calif.
Andrea Espinoza
SEMINOLE - Prayer services for Andrea Espinosa, 99, of Seminole will be at 7 p.m. today in Primera Iglesia Bautista.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the same church with the Rev. Julio Flores and Rev. Glen E. Godsey officiating.
Burial will be in Gaines County cemetery under direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Seminole.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, in Seminole Memorial Hospital.
She was born Sept. 27, 1899, in Chihuahua, Mexico. She moved to Seminole from Alpine in 1952. She was a founding member of Primera Iglesia Bautista. She worked at Winters Dry Cleaners, and she was a homemaker. Four sons, Antonio Ramos, Michel Ramos, Joe Ramos and Manuel Almodova Jr., and a daughter, Rosa Almodova, all preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Pete Ramos of Seminole; two daughters, Angelica Mary Luna of Seminole and Aurora Moreno of Alpine; five sisters, Luz Hersha of Pecos, Maria Jurado of El Paso, Amparo Vasquez of San Antonio, Consuelo Erron of Oxnard, Calif., and Susie Sommerset of Santa Maria, Calif.; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
Neva Bostic
SPUR (Special) Services for Neva Oleta Bostic, 79, of Spur will be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Harbison of Spur and the Rev. Dean McNamara of Plainview officiating.
Burial will be in Spur Memorial cemetery under direction of Campbell Funeral Home.
She died Monday, Aug. 9, 1999, in Plainview.
She was born June 24, 1920, in Dickens County. She married
R.G. Bostic on Aug. 24, 1936, in Spur. She had been a lifelong resident of Dickens County. She was a homemaker, a member of Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Spur.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Ray Bostic in 1957.
Survivors include her husband; and two daughters, Myrna Parsley of Plainview and Dwayna Tigner of Arlington.
The family suggests memorials to Family Hospice of the Plains, 4418 Olton Road, Plainview 79072.
Her body will be taken to the church at noon today.
Estella Moreland

She died Monday, April 26, 1999, in Dallas.
She was born March 13, 1915, in Woodsboro. She married
E.R. "Buster" Moreland on July 25, 1931, in Sinton. He died May 10, 1985. She was a teachers' aide in the special education department. She was a member of First Baptist Church, the Eastern Star and the Needle Craft Club in Post. She was a member of the Garden Club in Sunnyvale. She moved to Sunnyvale from Post in 1985.
Survivors include a son, Buddy of Dallas; four daughters, Billie Proctor of Odessa, Margaret Wilks of Lubbock, Linda Waldrip of Post and Yvonne Hill of Sour Lake; three sisters, Bernice Shubert, Pearl O'Donnell and Norma Harrington, all of Woodsboro; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

LAMESA - Services for J.D. "Cotten" Mabry, 82, of Lamesa will be at 2:30 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Teeters, pastor, officiating.

Mabry died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
He was born March 13, 1916, in Goree. He married
Juanita Noblitt on Dec. 6, 1940, in Big Spring. He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1963. He was a retired Baptist minister. He served churches in Anson, Ackerly, Sands and Hancock. He served as interim pastor of First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He taught school in Welch from 1961 to 1962. He taught in Lamesa from 1963 to 1967. He was an interviewer with Texas Employment Commission until retiring. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Jerry of Houston; two sisters, Faye Lauderdale of Lamesa and Frankie Low of Hobbs; and two grandchildren.
Harold Rousser
TULIA - Services for Harold Rousser, 85, of Tulia will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Rose Hill cemetery with the Rev. Dean McNamara, chaplain of Family Hospice of the Plains in Plainview, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Wallace Funeral Home.
Rousser died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Tulia Care Center.
He was born Aug. 18, 1913, in Swisher County. He married
Laura Jane Phillips on Jan. 5, 1935, in Matador. She died March 19, 1977. He married
Ethel Northcutt on June 2, 1979, in Amarillo. He was a farmer and cattleman. He attended school in Center Plains and graduated from Kress High School in 1930. He moved to Tulia in 1963. He attended Center Plains Church.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Mary North of Amarillo and Ruth Williams of Kress; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
Maxine Cottingham
MIDLAND - Services for Maxine Cottingham, 82, of Hobbs, N.M., will be at 2 p.m. today in Resthaven Memorial Park cemetery in Midland under direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home of Hobbs.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, in Columbia Lea Regional Hospital.
She was born Oct. 4, 1916, in Wylie. She married
I.A. Cottingham in 1954. He died April 8, 1977.
Survivors include a son, J.L. Walker of Hobbs; two granddaughters; and four great-grandchildren.

John Bishop
Services for John R. Bishop, 97, of Idalou will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Idalou United Methodist Church with Rev. Steve Holston officiating.

He died Sunday, April 25, 1999, at University Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 30, 1901, in Erath County. He married
Pearl Popejoy on Nov. 21, 1926, in Idalou. She died June 10, 1987. He moved to Idalou in 1923 from Childress.
He was a carpenter.
Survivors include a son, Samuel R. Bishop of San Diego, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Jeff Bishop of Hayward, Calif., and Steve Bishop of Concord, Calif.
Doral Brixey
CROSBYTON - Services for Doral Brixey, 71, of Crosbyton will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Lester Griffin, pastor, officiating. Larry Yowell will assist.
Burial will be in Crosbyton cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.
She died Feb. 10, 1999.
She was born Oct. 17, 1927, in Crosbyton. She married
Jack Brixey on March 21, 1944, in Crosbyton. She was a member of Crosbyton First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teachers. She was a florist, and she worked in several flower shops. She opened Doral's Flower Shop in 1982, and she retired in 1996. She attended Big Four and Crosbyton schools. She and her husband lived and farmed in the Big Four community until 1963, when they moved to Crosbyton. Two sons, Dennis Jack and Buddy, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Kenneth Ray of Coleman; a daughter, Shirley Judean "Judy" McCurdy of Lubbock; a sister, Quita Powell of Ralls; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Brixey home on Friday.
