Martin died Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999, in Highland Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Throckmorton. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He married
Marilyn Simonds on Feb. 16, 1952, in Glendive, Mont. She died Aug. 25, 1984. He was a retired farmer and Baptist. He was a former resident of Lubbock, Throckmorton and Haskell. He worked for an exploration company for several years.
Survivors include a son, Keith of Lubbock; four daughters, Lessie Wilder and Roxanne Smith, both of Lubbock, Lynette Patterson of Richardson and Billie Neskorick of Cee Vee; his mother, Lessie Martin Moore of Hico; a sister, Vondell Rogers of Hico; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

LITTLEFIELD - Rosary for Maria Martinez Lopez, 80, of Littlefield will be at 7 p.m. today at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Littlefield.
Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the same church with the Rev. Patrick Maher officiating.
Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic cemetery under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home of Littlefield.

She was born May 10, 1918, at Karnes City. She married
Cresencio Lopez in 1932 at Karnes City. She had lived in Littlefield since 1948. She was a homemaker and member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and of the prayer group in the church.
Survivors include four sons, Carlos M. of Falfurrias, Florencio and George, both of Dimmitt, and Paul of Littlefield; two daughters, Eva Gonzalez of Woodrow and Estela Lopez of Amarillo; a brother, Florencio Martinez of San Antonio; two sisters, Maggie Rodriguez of Bovina and Carolina Franco of Brownfield; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

She died Saturday, Feb. 27, 1999, at Bender Terrace Nursing Home in Lubbock.
She was born May 1, 1913, in Monterrey, Mexico. She married
Juan N. Cantu on Dec. 23, 1929, at Sinton. They moved to Anton in 1951 from Raymondville. She became a naturalized citizen on Nov. 18, 1998. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Anton. She is preceded in death by her husband, Juan N. Cantu, on Jan. 19, 1983.
Survivors include four sons, Francisco and Abel, both of Madera, Calif., Jesse E. of Hereford and Albert G. of Port Lavaca; four daughters, Maria C. Garcia of Anton, Pomposa C. Bravo of Madera, Calif., Teresa C. Guzman of Raymondville, and Janie Hermosillo of Fort Worth; two brothers, Conception Gamez Jr. of Dallas and Florinto Gamez of Monterrey, Mexico; a sister, Secundina Hernandez of Progresso; 37 grandchildren; 63 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jessie Meixner on Aug. 19, 1950, in San Angelo. He was a pumper for Unocal for 38 years. They moved to Andrews from Lake Kickapoo in 1997. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Andrews.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, J.D. of Lawn and Mickey of Archer City; a daughter, Judy Allen of Big Spring; and seven grandchildren.

She worked for Lubbock State School for 20 years before retiring.
Survivors include her husband; a sister, Thelma Ausbie of Wichita Falls; and a grandson.

He was born Nov. 9, 1959, in Lafayette, La., and graduated from Coronado High School in 1978. He was a painter with M&M; Painting for 18 years prior to working for L.H.R. Corporation for three years. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association. He married
Teresa Walker on Aug. 17, 1991, in Lubbock. He had served on the board for Dixie Little League, and was a Lubbock resident most of his life.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Cole Walker Headrick of Lubbock; his father and stepmother, Prentiss and Melissa Headrick; his mother and stepfather, Shirley and Mike Wheeler; a brother, Mike Headrick of Lake City, Utah; a sister, Denise Sneed of Lubbock; two stepsisters, Jenny Benitez of Lubbock, and Leslie Seaman of Clifton, Colo.

Frances Sanchez on March 10, 1947, in Las Vegas, N.M. He was a retired farmer and a sales representative for Gypsum Building Materials and Wholesale Hardware. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include his wife; two sisters, Nan Woolam of Lubbock and Judy Kelly of Lubbock; and several nieces and nephews.
