LEVELLAND - Services for Miriam Sims Eblen, 88, of Levelland will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Hodge, pastor of First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Levelland cemetery.
She died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, in Lynwood Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Sept. 13, 1910, in King County. She moved to Levelland from Winnsboro in 1965. She worked for Green Thumb at the Senior Citizens, and she was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens. She was a member of the Kitchen Klatter Band. She married
Jesse Floyd Eblen on Aug. 18, 1929, in Matador. He died in October 1972. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church. A son, Joval Eblen, died March 20, 1994.
Survivors include a son, Jimmy of San Angelo; four daughters, Ann Humphrey of San Angelo, Mary Pinkert of Levelland, Kay Pinkert of Levelland and Jane Plymell of Midland; a brother, Joe Sims of Baton Rouge, La.; a sister, Margaret Bradford of Albuquerque, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
James Patterson
ANDREWS (Special) Services for James Patterson, 88, of Andrews will be at 2 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Russ Smith, of Kermit, officiating.
Burial will be in Andrews West cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
He died Friday, July 9, 1999, in Seminole Memorial Hospital in Seminole.
He was born June 23, 1911, in Noble, Ill. He married
Wanda Blaricum on April 27, 1926, in Vincennes, Ind. They lived in Denver City for 15 years, before moving to Andrews in 1984. He was a pumper for Texaco for 22 years, before retiring. He was a member of Lakeview Christian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife on June 28, 1996.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Garrets of Peoria, Ill., and Janice Beal of Andrews; a brother, Ervin Patterson of Olney, Ill.; three sisters, Frakie Diemel, Mabel Gillan, and Mary Clark, all of Olney; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Hester Morehead
Graveside services for Hester "Jane" Morehead, 94, of Tahoka will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Lubbock's Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Tahoka's First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Marvin Gregory, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home of Lubbock.
She died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, in Lynn County Hospital.
She was born in Richardson County, Neb. She moved to Tahoka in 1945. She was a legal secretary for Huffaker & Green Attorneys in Tahoka. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two sisters, Kay Aeschliman and Dolores Painter, both of Casper, Wyo.; eight nieces; and a nephew.
Harold Williams
SLATON - Graveside services for Harold Ebb "Jack" Williams, 92, of Midland will be at 2 p.m. today in Llano cemetery in Amarillo under direction of Englunds Funeral Service of Slaton.
Williams died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, in Terrace Gardens Nursing Center in Midland.
He was born Sept. 1, 1906, in Heck Switch, Okla. He graduated from Heck Switch High School in 1924. He married
Caddie Towry on Nov. 19, 1927, and he farmed in Heck Switch until 1939, when he moved to White Deer. He worked with natural gas pipelines in White Deer. He retired in 1971, and he moved to Amarillo from Dumas in 1972. He moved to Slaton in 1977, and he moved to Midland in 1994. He was a 54-year member of the Scottish Rite of free masonry and SJUSA. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. A daughter, Betty Jean McLaughlin, died April 15, 1993.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Harold Dean of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a daughter, Frankie M. Simmons of Midland; two sisters, Thelma Joplin of Clovis, N.M., and Mildred Roles of Georgetown; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to the Cerebral Palsy Center, 802 Ventura, Midland 79705, or to a favorite charity.
Juanita Shaw
WOODVILLE - Services for Juanita Hamilton Shaw, 80, of Woodville will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Magnolia cemetery.
She died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, in Woodville Convalescent Center.
She was born April 10, 1918, in DeKalb. She moved to Woodville from Morton and Cross Plains. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Don of Woodville and Larry of Duncanville; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Rodriguez died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Sept. 20, 1934, in Realitos. He attended Alice schools. He married
Maria Olga Torres on Dec. 5, 1953, in Munday. They moved to Lockney from Alice in 1959. He attended Templo Salem Baptist Church in Lockney. He was a ginner for South Plains Co-Op Gin.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, Saul of Lockney, Ruben of Plainview, and Jerry, Moses, Adam and David, all of Lockney; four daughters, Sylvia Leal of Muleshoe, Debra Ascencio, Monica Luna and Laurie Rodriguez, all of Lockney; three brothers, Adan of Alford, Roy of Lubbock and Robert of Victoria; six sisters, Modesta Perales, Ofelia Basaldua and Arlene Raissez, all of Lockney, Doris Delgado of Kyle, and Maggie Jocelyn and Anita Perales, both of Victoria; 22 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Thompson died Monday, Feb. 16, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born Feb. 3, 1952, at Littlefield. He married
Teri Stinson Beamer on Nov. 11, 1994, at Lubbock. He was a member of the New Horizon Emmas Community in Littlefield. He had farmed in the Spade area for many years and was a life long resident of Spade. He was a member of the Trinity Fellowship Church in Lubbock and in Littlefield.
Survivors include his wife; his parents, Carl and Wanda Thompson of Littlefield; a daughter, Lindi Beth Thompson of Brownwood; two stepdaughters, Jennifer Beamer of Lubbock and Sara H. Beamer of Spade; two sisters, Bonnie Morris and Cindy Jordan, both of Lubbock.
The family requests memorial to the Amherst Retreat Center.

He was born May 7, 1928, in Weleeka, Okla. He married
Bertha Jo Platt on May 20, 1974, in Seminole. A stepdaughter, Pam Allen, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; two stepdaughters, Janice Ward and Kathy Wilson, both of Hobbs; a sister, Wanda Twokey of Wewoka, Okla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Pedro Constancio

Morris Easley
HEREFORD - Services for Morris Easley, 76, of Hereford will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas Episcopal Church with burial in West Park cemetery under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Easley died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, in Methodist Hospital in Houston.
He was born March 10, 1922, in Chillicothe. He married
Virginia Green. He owned the first computer service in Hereford and he built the first feedyard in Deaf Smith County. He operated a crop-dusting services for many years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He owned Hereford Flying Service, and he was a bookkeeper for Easley Order Buyers.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dick Lookingbill of Las Vegas, Nev., and Paul Easley of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Sue Smith of Hereford; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Hereford Senior Citizens or Deaf Smith Health Care Foundation.
Eloisa Mendoza
OLTON - Rosary for Eloisa Casares Mendoza, 51, of Tahoka will be at 7 p.m. today in St. Peter's Catholic Church in Olton.

She was born March 29, 1947, in Karnes City. She married
Santana Mendoza Jr. on Dec. 27, 1969, in Olton. She was a Catholic. She retired from the Tahoka Independent School District.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Albert of Lubbock; a daughter, Rebecca Mendoza of Garland; seven brothers, Roberto, Mike, Johnny Joe and Luis, all of Olton, Jerry of Dimmitt, Riemundo and Serbando Jr., both of Littlefield; seven sisters, Rosemary Gonzalez and Sandy Casares, both of Garland, Aurora Medrano of New Orleans, Amelia Luera of Olton, Maria Sauceda of Plainview and Elena Ruiz of Kansas and Cindy Taylor of Rowlette; and a grandchild.
