HEREFORD - Graveside services for Alexandra Najera, infant daughter of Ricardo and Mary Najera of Hereford, will be at 2 p.m. today in Rest Lawn cemetery with Jose Salas, minister of La Iglesia de Cristo, officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Alexandra died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in Northwest Texas Hospital.
She was born Feb. 6, 1999, in Amarillo. She was a member of Iglesia de Cristo.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Rachel and Jasmine, both of Hereford; her grandparents, Abondio and Sandra Najera of Hereford and Rafael and Ermelinda Escontrias of Tulsa, Okla.; and her great-grandparents; Amelia and Gregorio Rodriguez, Maria Hernandez DeLujan, Esperanza Escontrias and Salvador Cairasco, all of Mexico.
Morris Easley
HEREFORD - Services for Morris Easley, 76, of Hereford will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas Episcopal Church with burial in West Park cemetery under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Easley died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, in Methodist Hospital in Houston.
He was born March 10, 1922, in Chillicothe. He married
Virginia Green. He owned the first computer service in Hereford and he built the first feedyard in Deaf Smith County. He operated a crop-dusting services for many years.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Dick Lookingbill of Las Vegas, Nev., and Paul Easley of Tulsa, Okla.; a daughter, Sue Smith of Hereford; and six grandchildren.
John Smith
Services for John Hugh Smith, 68, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. today in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Mark McMillan, pastor of First Baptist Church in Wolfforth, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Smith died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Jan. 6, 1931, in Hurlwood. He graduated from Frenship High School and attended Texas Tech University. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He married
Sue White on Sept. 20, 1957, in Lubbock. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1992 as a letter carrier. He owned the Tool Place in the flea market. He was a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, and he was an honorary member of the West Carlisle Volunteer Fire Department. He was a Methodist. A daughter, Susan Baudendistel, died in May 1995.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John H. Jr. and Tim, both of Lubbock; a daughter, Tammy Henricks of Lubbock; and eight grandchildren.

Lyndsi Miller
WHITNEY - Services for Lyndsi J. Kim Miller, 18, of Whitney will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church of Whitney with Bruce Martin, the Rev. Herb Thompson and Allan Lane officiating.
Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Englewood cemetery in Slaton. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall & Marshall Funeral Directors in Whitney.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, in Waco.
She was born April 11, 1980, in Lubbock. She was a 1998 graduate of Whitney High School, where she was a state qualifier in cross country and participated in track, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, FCA, FFA, PALS, German club and the Hill County Youth Collaboration. She was a top-10 finalist for the 1997 Laywitness for Christ Christian Athlete Award. She received an athletic booster scholarship, the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Award, who's who, class favorite and best smile. She had worked for Truly Texas and Spencer's. She was attending McLennan Community College and worked at West Tele-Communications. She was a member of the Whitney Church of Christ.
Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Sipper and Jay Bonner of Whitney; her father and step-mother, Jim and Karen Miller of Fort Worth; three brothers, Shayne Miller of Amarillo, and Chad Bonner and Dempsey Bonner, both of Whitney; a sister, Dacy Bonner of Whitney; two stepbrothers, Scott Morgan of Austin and Heath Morgan of Fort Worth; a stepsister, Kelley Corder of Fort Worth; her paternal grandparents, Harrison and Bessie Miller of Amarillo; her maternal grandfather, Spade Cooley of New Deal; and a step-grandmother, Frances Bonner of Whitney.
The family suggests donations to the Lyndsi Miller memorial fund at First National Bank of Whitney.
Monette Clark
PLAINVIEW - Services for Monette Clark, 92, of Plainview will be at 2:30 p.m. today in First Baptist Church Family Life Chapel with the Rev. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
She died Monday, March 8, 1999, in Covenant Hospital in Plainview.
She was born April 1, 1906, in Oglesby. She married
M.D. Martin on May 3, 1925. He died in 1956. She married
W.F. Clark on Aug. 8, 1964. He died in 1991. She graduated from Oglesby High School. She moved to Plainview in 1955. She was a nurse at Plainview Hospital and Clinic. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Jerald of Plainview; a sister, Mary Gracey of Roscoe; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Billy Manley
Services for Billy E. Manley, 74, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Resthaven Funeral Home Abbey Chapel with the Rev. Paul Jantzen and Billy Sheets officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Manley died Monday, Feb. 8, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center-Lakeside.
He was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Brownwood. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He married
Lucy Haney on July 2, 1946, in Corpus Christi. He retired from Lubbock Power and Light in 1985. He was a musician, and he played the steel guitar. He moved to Lubbock in 1945.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry of Lubbock; a sister, Barbara Kay Wisell of Brownwood; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The family suggests memorials to the American Heart Association.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
Glen Cope
LAMESA - Graveside services for Glen Cope, 88, of Ruidoso, N.M., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Lamesa cemetery with Larry Allison officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Branon Funeral Home.
Cope died Sunday, March 7, 1999, in Ruidoso, N.M.
He was born June 6, 1910, in Klondike. He married
Melba Williams on Dec. 23, 1939, in Brownfield. He owned Cope Butane in Lamesa. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He moved to Ruidoso in 1998.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cynthia Warren of Ruidoso; a sister, Minnie Cope McKee of Lubbock; and a grandchild.
Johnny Patterson
BRECKENRIDGE - Services for Johnny Nevis Patterson, 74, of Breckenridge will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Stewart officiating.
Burial will be in Breckenridge cemetery under direction of Morehart Mortuary.
Patterson died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in Fort Worth.
He was born May 1, 1924, in Stonewall County. He graduated from Peacock High School. He married
Katherine Thomas on June 20, 1941, in Peacock. He moved to Breckenridge from Lubbock in 1956. He worked for R.E. Dye Manufacturing from 1956 to 1987. He moved to Duncanville in 1987, where he was self-employed in plant sales. He returned to Breckenridge in 1991. He was a charter member of Bethany Baptist Church, where he was a former music minister and deacon. A daughter preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Carolyn Corbett of Arlington and Joni Thurmond of Duncanville; two sisters, Ida Pearl Smith of Plano and Nicki Baker of Bonham; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Heritage Room of Morehart Mortuary from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.
