LAMESA - Graveside services for Audra Inez Dollar, 71, of Lamesa will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Lamesa Memorial Park with the Rev. Clifton Igo officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Branon Funeral Home.
She died Friday, Feb. 19, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born June 27, 1927. She married
A.P. Dollar on June 27, 1947, in Seminole. She was a bookkeeper for Higginbotham Lumber Co. for 20 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. A daughter, Cathy Dollar McCollum, died in 1974.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Paul of Lamesa and Steve of Pearsall; three sisters, Jean Haney and Roma Harris, both of Lamesa, and Dolly Rhinhardt of O'Donnell; and two brothers, Bill Jones of Burnet and Johnny Jones of Lamesa.
Nelva Jones
LAMESA - Services for Nelva Iris Jones, 85, of Lamesa will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. David Black, pastor, officiating. Bob Powell of Lubbock will assist.
Burial will be in Lamesa Memorial Park under direction of Branon Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 15, 1913, in Eastland County. She married
Davie Jones on Dec. 24, 1935, in Lamesa. He died Jan. 21, 1996. She was a member of the Women's Study Club and Garden Club. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Wesley Workers and ByKota Circle.
Survivors include a son, Mike of Lamesa; three daughters, Linda Mayo of Lubbock, Susan Sanders of Austin and Emily Johnson of Kingsland; a sister, Marceille Hogg of Fort Worth; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity or First United Methodist Church.
Allen Haggard
Graveside services for Allen H. Haggard, 84, of Lubbock, formerly of San Antonio, will be at 4 p.m. today in Rancho cemetery in Nixon with the Rev. Floyd Lewis of Christ Presbyterian Church in San Antonio officiating.
Burial is under the direction Ellis Funeral Homes.
He died Friday, Feb. 12, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 24, 1914, in Rockwood, Tenn., and married
Lois Barlett in Bernalillo, N.M., on July 24, 1959. She died March 26, 1994. He was a World War II Army veteran, a member of the American Legion, Elks Lodge and Christ Presbyterian Church. He was an accountant until he retired in 1968.
Survivors include two daughters, Deanne Clark of Lubbock and Susan Hinton of Grandbury; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Coby Briehn Jr.
Graveside services for Coby L. Briehn Jr., 64, of Morgantown, W.Va., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
Briehn died Monday, Feb. 22, 1999, in Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born May 15, 1934, in Monroe, La. He married
Georgia Briehn on June 9, 1962, in Miami, Fla. He worked in law enforcement for 30 years for the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, the West Virginia Department of Public Safety, Metro-Dade Sheriff's Department, Lubbock County District Attorney's Office and the Albuquerque, N.M., Police Department. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Coby III of Temple; a sister, Nan Brandt of Lubbock; and a grandson.
Florence Gover
EARTH - Services for Florence D. Gover, 89, of Earth will be at 11 a.m. today at Earth Church of Christ with the Rev. Bobby Broyles, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Earth cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Homes.
She died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at Lamb HealthCare Center in Littlefield.
She was born Sept. 13, 1909, in Carrollton, Ill. She had been a resident of Earth since 1940, moving from Frederick, Okla. She was a homemaker and a member of Earth Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, J. Allen Gover of Earth and Bill Gover of Petersburg; three daughters, Jo An Lemon of Colorado City, Helen McBride of Amarillo and Judy Allmond of Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Earth EMS or Earth Memorial cemetery.
Kate McLarty
LITTLEFIELD - Services for Kate McLarty, 95, of El Paso will be at 10 a.m. today at the Hemphill Chapel in the First Baptist Church in Littlefield with the Rev. Charles Broadhurst, a retired minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park under the direction of Hammons Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, April 17, 1999, at Rosedale Foster Home in El Paso.
She was born Jan. 5, 1904, at Shive. She married
Tell H. McLarty on Sept. 15, 1923, at Hamilton County. She taught Sunday school and Vacation Bible School for more than 50 years and lived in Littlefield from 1940 to 1998, when she moved to El Paso. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 30, 1986.
Survivors include a son, Mancil of El Paso; a brother, Alfonso Morgan of Lubbock; two sisters, Grace Adams of Cleburne and Pauline Funk of Levelland; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
Nora Patton
Nora Lee Patton, 97, of Lubbock died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, in the Lubbock Hospitality House.
Her body was donated to the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center.
She was born Feb. 10, 1902, in Cisco. She attended Idalou schools. She had lived in Arizona, North Carolina and Big Spring until returning to Lubbock in 1979.
Survivors include three nieces and two nephews.
UnaVee Oldham
SHALLOWATER - Services for UnaVee Oldham, 76, of Shallowater will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Mitch Wilson and Wayne R. Williams, pastor emeritus of Parkway Drive Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under he direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Oct. 23, 1923, in Ira. She married
Therrell Daymon Oldham on June 9, 1946, in Shallowater. She was a housewife, a saleswoman at Zales Jewelers and a member of First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and sang in the choir.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Ilicia Jan Forester of Shallowater and Jaquetta Ann Mitchell of Carrollton; three brothers, Troy Adams of Shallowater, Travis Adams of Phoenix and Bobby Gwen Adams of Oklahoma; a sister, Doris June Clark of Phoenix; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Church.
The family will receive visitors at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
