PADUCAH - Services for Vada Marie Buell, 78, of Paducah will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jeff Utter, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Garden of Memories cemetery under direction of Seigler Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, in a Paducah nursing home.
She was born June 14, 1920, in Valentine, Neb. She married
John Buell on Dec. 13, 1957, in White River, S.D. She moved to Paducah from South Dakota. She was a retired cafe and hotel worker. She was a homemaker and a member of the Episcopal Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Dennis Einspahr of Pensacola, Fla.; two daughters, Carol Lee Hurley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mary Jeanette Stronghoner of Mountain Grove, Mo.; a brother, Willard Harris of Illinois; a sister, Carolyn Wise of Omaha, Neb.; and five grandchildren.
Jackie Henry
PLAINVIEW - Services for Jackie Henry, 73, of Plainview will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Lemons Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Clark, pastor of Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. The Rev. Q.D. Bevell, assistant pastor, will assist.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1999, in Covenant Hospital in Plainview.
She was born Jan. 19, 1926, in Maple Wilson. She attended Plainview schools. She graduated from Watson Business College and attended American Business College. She worked with Henry & Henry House Movers, and she did tax work from 1969 to 1993. She sold Luzier Cosmetics. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Plainview.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie Ann Kerbo of Denison; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
The family suggests memorials to the Bethel Baptist Church Building Fund.
Rose Evans
HOBBS, N.M. - Services for Rose "Addie" Evans, 66, of Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Scharbauer Street Church of Christ with Robert James, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Prairie Haven Memorial Park under direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, in Lea Regional Hospital in Hobbs.
She was born Dec. 6, 1932, in Raklow. She married
Robert Lee Evans on July 21, 1954, in Lovington, N.M. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Donald of Oakland, Calif., David of Fort Worth and Chris of Hobbs; four daughters, Verna Evans and Martha Burt, both of Fort Worth, Melba Cotton of Hobbs and Christa Sibley of Lubbock; a sister, Juanita Cotton of Hobbs; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
Ralph Hines
COLORADO CITY - Services for Ralph Hines, 72, of Colorado City will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church with the Revs. Ken Northcutt and Dan Marshall officiating.
Burial will be in Westbrook cemetery under direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Hines died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in a Colorado City hospital.
He was born Feb. 28, 1926, in Stanton. He graduated from Westbrook High School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He graduated from Sul Ross University in 1951. He was a supporter of the Sul Ross Rodeo Team, and he was named to the Rodeo Hall of Fame for Sul Ross. He worked for Anderson-Clayton and Carnation Co. as a livestock specialist. He was past president of the Westbrook cemetery Association. He married
Betty Brown in 1957, in Pleasanton. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Doris Sands of Sundown and Janie Vann of Colorado City; a brother, Donald M. Hines of Midland; and five grandchildren.
Gertrude Pittman
LEVELLAND - Graveside services for Gertrude "Midge" Pittman, 96, of Kendall, Kan., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in City of Levelland cemetery with the Rev. David Krause of Lubbock officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors.
She was born Feb. 2, 1903, in Jones County, Ark. She moved to Kendall, Kan., from Fort Scott, Kan., in 1996. She married
James Forrest Pittman on Dec. 6, 1923, in Lovington, N.M. He died Oct. 16, 1985. A daughter preceded her in death. She was a retired schoolteacher. She was a seamstress.
Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Rector of Kendall, Kan.; a brother, Glen Collum of Brownsville; a sister, Lois Pruett of Stephenville; four grandchildren; two step grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-step grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. today.

Richard Campbell III
Services for Richard E. Campbell III, 52, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Lubbock with the Rev. James McGinlay, a Baptist minister from Fort Worth, officiating.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Friday at East Mound cemetery in Matador. Arrangements are by Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
He died Tuesday, June 15, 1999, at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born April 16, 1947, in Matador. He graduated from Matador Senior High School in 1965 with a football and baseball scholarship to Texas Tech. He graduated from Texas Tech, majoring in physical education. He was honored as an All-America football player in 1969 and also participated in the 1969 Hula Bowl.
He married
Judith Ann Butler on Aug. 5, 1967, in Odessa.
He was ordained as a minister and traveled extensively throughout Texas and Oklahoma, ministering in small and large churches. Later he worked at Good News Bookstore in Lubbock. Recently, he worked as the television station manager at Channel 40 in Lubbock. He was a member of the Fellowship of Lubbock Church.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Sherry Hardin of Frisco and Jana Ellsworth and Rebekah Bulen, both of Lubbock; a son, Byron of Lubbock; his mother, Lucretia Campbell of Matador; two sisters; Charlotte Richardson and Carol Todd, both of Dallas; and two grandsons.

Eunice Widmier
FRIONA - Graveside services for Eunice Widmier, 81, of Friona will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friona cemetery with the Rev. Herman Krauel officiating.

She died Thursday, June 17, 1999, at her home.
She was born Sept. 26, 1917, in Grady. She married
Virgil Widmier on Jan. 19, 1938, in Fort Sumner, N.M. He died March 18, 1990.
She was a member of Union Congregational Church in Friona. She had lived in Friona since 1938, moving there from Fort Sumner.
Survivors include a daughter, Lynnis Clark of Friona; a brother, Oren Lang of Clovis, N.M.; three sisters, Clara Talley and Blanche Kent, both of Portales, N.M., and Essie Bell of Farmington, N.M.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
