PLAINVIEW - Services for Glen Gregory, 38, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. today in Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Scott Carley of Lubbock officiating. The Revs. Greg Bradley of Monett, Mo., and Steve Franks of Portales, N.M., will assist.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
Gregory died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, in Swisher Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 14, 1960, in Odessa. He married
Mickie Willingham on Sept. 22, 1978, in Midland. He graduated from Midland Lee High School. He moved to Lamesa in 1991. He moved to Oklahoma City in 1993. He moved to Plainview in 1997. He was pastor of Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church. He was an Eagle Scout, and he was active in the Boy Scouts of America. He was a Cub Master.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Christopher Devin, Jamason Glen and Nathen Garrett, all of Plainview; a daughter, Amy Villegas of Plainview; a sister, Lisa Greenhaw of Plainview; his father, Luke Armstrong of Midland; his mother, Leta Armstrong of Plainview; and a niece.
The family suggests memorials to the Boy Scouts of America.
Buddy Knox
CANYON - Memorial services for Buddy Knox, 65, of Bremerton, Wash., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church of Canyon with the Rev. Richard Bales, pastor, and Rev. Kevin Deckard, associate pastor, officiating.
Services are under direction of Brooks Funeral Directors of Happy.
Knox died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1999, in Harrison Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Happy. He was a rockabilly singer and songwriter. He played at the Buddy Holly Tribute concert in 1997. His biggest hit was "Party Doll" in 1948. He later formed the Rhythm Orchids.
Survivors include five children, Wayne Knox of Nashville, Tenn., Wendy Severance of Richmond, Michael Knox of Nashville, Tenn., Jesse Knox and Ginger Knox, both of Canada; a sister, Verdi Brown of Fritch; and three grandchildren.
Jim Durham
KRESS - Services for Jim Durham, 96, of Kress will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ron Kelley, pastor, officiating. The Rev. Gene Louder, a retired Methodist minister, will assist.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park cemetery under direction of Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Durham died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in Covenant Hospital in Plainview.
He was born May 11, 1902, in Oklahoma. He married
Esther Lela King on July 26, 1930, in Clovis, N.M. She died June 13, 1987. He attended Wheeler County schools. He farmed in the Whitfield Community. He returned to Petersburg in 1930, and he moved to Swisher County where he farmed and raised cattle. He retired in 1977 and moved to Kress. He was a a member of First United Methodist Church of Kress.
Survivors include two sons, Royce and Jimmy, both of Kress; four daughters, Doris Sudduth of Plainview, Darlene Bain of Edmonson, Nelda Hardin of Abernathy and Donna Korchenko of Lubbock; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Alice Carsrud
LOVINGTON, N.M. - Graveside services for Alice "Dala" Carsrud, 83, of Lovington will be at 2 p.m. today in Resthaven cemetery with David Stewart officiating.
Burial will be under direction of Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in Lovington Good Samaritan Center.
She was born Jan. 12, 1916, in Alerandro. She married
H.B. "Bud" Carsrud in February 1934, in Portales, N.M. She drove a school bus for 42 years. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Patt Millsap of Lovington, N.M.; a son, Jack of Alice; two brothers, Dois Maness of Hobbs and Doug Maness of Las Cruces, N.M.; and two sisters, Imogene Johnson of Lovington and Bill Owens of Portales, N.M.
E.F. Vogler
HEREFORD - Services for E.F. Vogler, 84, of Hereford will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Erik Stadler, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Rest Lawn Memorial Park under direction of Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Vogler died Sunday, Feb. 7, 1999, in Hereford.
He was born May 17, 1914, in Winters. He married
Anna Marie Drager on July 22, 1936, in Rhea. She died April 25, 1988. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. He was a farmer.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Ann Fisher of Hereford; three sons, Walter, Leon and Harry, all of Hereford; three brothers, Freddie, Henry and Rinehard, all of Lamesa; three sisters, Ella Caudle of Hereford, Anna Standefer of Lamesa and Laverne Burger of Midland; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to Hereford Senior Citizens or Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Cloyd Elliott
HOBBS, N.M. - Services for Cloyd Elliott, 46, of Hobbs will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Taylor Street Church of Christ with Joe Burks, minister, officiating.
Cremation will be under direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Elliott died Tuesday, March 2, 1999, in Hobbs.
He was born April 27, 1952, in Paducah. He married
Susan Burks Elliott on June 25, 1977, in Lubbock. He was self-employed, and he had worked for Southwestern Public Service and New Mexico Potash Mines.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Casey and Colby, both of Hobbs; a brother, Billy of Jal, N.M.; two sisters, Carol Shanks and Rayla Dakan, both of Carlsbad, N.M.
The family suggests memorials to Taylor Street Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday.

She was born in Polk County, Ark. She married
W.N. Mowery on Aug. 27, 1937, in Vernon. She moved to Lubbock in 1951 from Vernon. She was a homemaker and former cafeteria worker of the Lubbock Independent School District. She was a member of Lubbock Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Gene of Lubbock; two daughters, Norma Hilliard of Amarillo and Neva Woody of Austin; two brothers, L.C. Quisenberry and Eddie Foy Quisenberry, both of Vernon; three sisters, Geri Lam of Security, Colo., Betty Morris of Quanah and Dorothy Gillespie of Lubbock; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Patrick Lusk

He as born Jan. 1, 1975, in Lompoc, Calif.
Survivors include his parents, Tysium Lusk Jr. and Cynthia Lusk of Lubbock; and two sisters, Andrea and Donita, both of Lubbock.
