HEDLEY - Services for Mary Badgett Marney, 67, of Hedley will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church in Hedley with the Rev. Neely Landrum, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Childress cemetery under direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, in Hedley.
She was born Feb. 26, 1931, in Childress. She moved to Hedley from Lubbock in 1995. Her first husband, Bob Badgett, died in 1995. She married
Michael Marney on July 16, 1998, in Lubbock. She was a CPA for 25 years until retiring in 1993. She was a former president of the Texas Society of CPAs and South Plains Trust and Estate. She was chairwoman of the National Association of Royalty Owners, and she was a former officer of the Lubbock YMCA and YWCA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hedley.
Survivors include her husband; her father, William R. Jones of Childress; a daughter, Laura Sims of Amarillo; a son, Scott of New York; two stepchildren, Phillip Marney and Amanda Marney, both of Lubbock; a sister, Trisha Henningsen of CeeVee; and two grandchildren.
Ruby Wages
Graveside services for Ruby Wages, 94, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Myrtle Springs cemetery in Canton.
Burial will be under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
She died Friday, March 5, 1999, at Lubbock Health Care Center.
Born May 27, 1904, in Grand Saline, she married
John Davis Wages on Aug. 26, 1923, in Antioch. He died in 1953. She was a homemaker and a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Billie W. Pfeil of Grand Saline; a son, Jack Wages of Lubbock; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Lubbock.
Marjorie Bricker
Memorial services for Marjorie Bricker, 90, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in W.W. Rix Chapel with the Rev. Keith Wiseman officiating.
Cremation will be under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at Southhaven Residential Home.
She was born Dec. 25, 1909, in Denver, Colo. She married
J.F. Bricker in Denver in 1934. He died in 1998. She lived in Lubbock the past 20 years. She was a practical nurse for many years in Wyoming. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star and past president of the Royal Order of Abusson, Naomi Chapter, in Sheridan, Wyo.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Donald L. Bricker of Lubbock; two grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

S.H. Salley
Services for the Rev. S.H. "Homer" Salley, 87, of Wolfforth will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Bruce Parks, retired Methodist minister, officiating and assisted by the Rev. Earl Blair, Lubbock District superintendent of the United Methodist Church; the Rev. Bobby McMillan, pastor; and R.K. Curtis.
Interment will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under direction of Franklin-Bartley Funeral Home.
He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 29, 1911, in Monroe, La. He married
Gladys Padgett on Jan. 4, 1934, in Mitchell County. He was a Methodist minister and retired from active ministry in 1978 after 44 years of service. He served as pastor of Lubbock's Pioneer Memorial United Methodist Church and the Shallowater United Methodist Church.
He also pastored and built churches in Logan and San Jon, N.M., Becton, the Clarendon Circuit, Loraine, Rule, Coahoma, Sunray, Earth, Seagraves, Sweetwater, Midland, Roby, Plainview, Happy, Abilene, Baird and Mobeetie. He also served as interim pastor for several churches after retirement.
He was a representative on the committee that oversaw the auisition of Lubbock Memorial Hospital by the Northwest Texas Conference of the Methodist Church, resulting in the establishment of Methodist Hospital.
He was a graduate of McMurry College and attended Perkins Theological Seminary. He was a member of the Northwest Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church. A daughter, Ellie Lee Salley, died April 15, 1951.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, the Rev. Henry L. Salley of Plainview, Sam Salley of Lubbock and Melvin Salley of Levelland; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.
Dalia Flores
LOVINGTON, N.M. - Services for Dalia Flores, 88, of Lovington will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Thomas Catholic Church with the Rev. Frank Eichhorst officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Smith-Rogers Chapel.
Burial will be in Lovington cemetery under direction of Smith-Rogers Funeral Home.
She died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at her home.
She was born Feb. 18, 1911, in Gonzales. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. She owned and operated Rancho Grande Cafe from 1964 to 1990. She was a Lovington resident for many years.
Survivors include a daughter, Lydia Cantu of Lovington; two brothers, Esequiel de las Sontas of El Paso and Refugion de las Sontas of Donna; a sister, Diamantina Silva of Alamogordo, N.M.; one granchild; and three great-grandchildren.

He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, in Highland Hospital.
He was born Aug. 31, 1980, in Lubbock.
Survivors include his parents, Daniel and Olivia Duarte of Lubbock; three sisters, Kathy Duarte, Rebecca Duarte and Roxann Duarte, all of Lubbock; and a brother, Ruben Duarte of Lubbock.

He died Saturday, March 6, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born June 10, 1937, in Rockport and married
Francis Guajardo on Sept. 12, 1959, in Lamesa. He was a longtime resident of Lamesa and was employed by the Lamesa Independent School District. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista. He was preceded in death by a brother and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jesse Ybarra of Lamesa and Carlos Ybarra III of Levelland; a daughter, Inez Ybarra of Lamesa; three brothers, David Ybarra of Eden, Santos Ybarra of Lamesa and Lupe Juan Ybarra of San Antonio; three sisters, Inez Gonzales and Carlotta Salazar, both of Lamesa, and Isidra Diaz of Weatherford; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 408 N. 10th St. in Lamesa or at Guajardo Funeral Chapel.
Ray McWilliams
BROWNFIELD (Special) Graveside services for Ray Dell McWilliams, 55, of Levelland will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Terry County Memorial Park under direction of Geo. C. Price Funeral Directors.
He died Monday, April 12, 1999, at his residence.
He was born June 21, 1943, in Brownfield. He moved to Levelland from McCook, Neb., in 1979. He married
Betty Brown on March 9, 1962, in Brownfield. He graduated from the South Plains College nursing program. He was a registered nurse at University Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Tony Ray and Toby Jay, both of Lubbock; his stepfather, Orphus Ruppe of Greeley, Colo.; two brothers, Odell of Brownfield and Billy of Lubbock; two sisters, Dianna Ruppe and Donna Ruppe, both of Greeley, Colo.
Tomasa Diaz

She was born, Sept. 22, 1912, in Mexico and married
Seberiano Diaz in 1933 in Loraine. He died Oct. 30, 1995. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Bovina. She had lived in Parmer County since 1956 and in Bovina since 1988 after moving from Loraine. She was a housewife. A son, Robert Diaz, died July 18, 1978.
Survivors include four sons, Luis Diaz of Sweetwater and Jesse Diaz, Tomas Diaz and Johnny Diaz, all of Amarillo; six daughters, Hope Cardenas of McAllen, Lupe Garcia of Bovina, Carmen Ramirez of Dalhart, Rosa Quiroga of Bovina, Frances Trevino of Dumas and Benita Trevino of Mesquite; two sisters, Antonio Godina of Colorado City and Pomposa Vasquez of Sweetwater; 36 grandchildren; 82 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Bess Taylor

She was born April 6, 1920, in Woodson and married
J.M. "Mark" Taylor on July 2, 1959, in Breckenridge. He died March 5, 1982. She moved to Crane in 1951 and worked for many years as a sales clerk at MarDeI Style Shop in Crane. She moved to Lubbock in 1984. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Marva Lee Hughes of Lubbock; a sister, Frankie Faulkner of Odessa; and two grandchildren.
Oletha Ozymy
Memorial services for Oletha Sturgeon Ozymy, 84, will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in W.W. Rix Chapel with the Rev. Paul Jantzen officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
She was born in Hermleigh on Jan. 7, 1915. She graduated from Hermleigh High School and Texas Tech University. She was employed by Hemphill-Wells Co. in Lubbock for 15 years and then moved to Dallas, where she was employed by Neiman-Marcus for 35 years. She married
Al Ozymy in Dallas in 1959. He died in June 1991. She returned from Dallas to Lubbock in 1990. She was a member of Trinity Church.
Survivors include a brother, O.V. Sturgeon of Lubbock; and eight nieces and nephews.

Billy Sandefur
FLOYDADA - Services for Billy Sandefur, 76, of Floydada will be at 2 p.m. today in Moore-Rose-White Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wendell Horn, First United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Floydada cemetery.
Sandefur died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999.
He was born Feb. 26, 1922, in Stamford. He graduated from Anson High School. He moved to Floydada from Lockney in 1975. He retired from Curry Freight in Floydada. He was a farmer. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a Methodist.
Survivors include two sisters, Elizabeth Hagler of Deming, N.M., and Rosalie Brown of Kingwood.
The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Association.
