Graveside services for Oreda D. Birdsong, 81, of Houston will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Restland cemetery in Dallas.
Burial will be under direction of Restland Funeral Home.
She died Friday, May 28, 1999, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1918, in Dallas.
She was a 30-year resident of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Birdsong.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Moyers of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a son, Paul Birdsong of Houston; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Eva Moore
TEXICO, N.M. - Graveside services for Eva Mae Moore, 87, of Clovis, N.M., will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Texico cemetery with the Rev. James O'Briant officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
She died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, at Sunbridge High Plains Nursing Home.
She was born March 19, 1912, in Hollis, Okla. She moved to Clovis in 1935. She married
Edgar P. Moore on March 2, 1940. She worked for Bob Skeen Tailor Shop and later worked as a beauty operator. She was president of BPO Drove 1240 in Clovis. She was a member of First Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Billy Ray Moore of Clovis; a sister, Mildred "Millie" Teeters of Clovis; and three grandchildren.
Jose Bermea Sr.
FRIONA - Services for Jose "Joe" Bermea Sr., 63, of Friona will be at 2 p.m. today at St. Teresa's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ed Sweeney, pastor, officiating. Rosary was held 8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in Garden Memory cemetery under direction of Ellis-Blackwell Funeral Home.
He died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo.
He was born July, 28, 1935, in Menard. He married
Angela Castillo on July 9, 1956, in Menard. He lived in Friona since 1969. He was a member of the parish Council and active in the building of the new church.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Joe of Hanover Park, Ill., Rudy of Lubbock, Richard and David, both of Friona; two daughters, Cynthia Vega of Friona, and Lucinda Moseley of Austin; his mother, Sostenes Bermea of Menard; and nine grandchildren.
Raymond Motley
OLTON Services for Raymond R. Motley, 78, of Olton will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rick Harper officiating and the Rev. Norman Patton assisting.
Burial will be in Olton cemetery under direction of Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Homes.
He died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1999, at Covenant Hospital in Plainview.
He was born Sept. 28, 1921, in Chico. He married
Nadine Barnett on July 15, 1941 in Bridgeport. He had lived in Olton since 1956, when he moved from Sundown. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a farmer.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Weldon of Olton and Carl of Detroit, Texas; two brothers, R.L. of Alvord and Motley of Midlothian; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Olton Volunteer Ambulance Association.
Joe Lewis
TAHOKA - Services for Joe E. Lewis, 76, of Tahoka will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of Christ with Ron Fant officiating.
Burial will be in Tahoka cemetery under the direction of White Funeral Home.
He died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, in Tahoka.
He was born June 15, 1923, in Tahoka. He graduated from New Home in 1941. He married
Grace Laverne Watkins on Feb. 3, 1951, in Portales, N.M. He was a farmer and lifelong resident of Tahoka. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Stephen Joe a daughter, Laura Kay Meyers; a brother, Jim of Engrim; a sister, Leona Estep of Hartville, Mo.; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at White Funeral Home.

Mary Foreman
Services for Mary Catherine Foreman, 72, of Woodrow will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Sanders Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Scot Edmonson, pastor of Bellaire Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in the City of Lubbock cemetery under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died on Monday, June 21, 1999, at her residence in Woodrow. She was born on September 16, 1926, in Whitney. She married
Ed Foreman on May 31, 1946, in Corsicana. He died on August 4, 1981. The couple moved to the Woodrow Community in 1948. She worked as a certified nurse's aid and was a member of the Indiana Avenue Baptist Church. She was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
A son, Jackie Foreman, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Harold of Woodrow; a daughter, Theresa Mason of Woodrow; two sisters, Freda Popejoy of Lubbock and Fern Hill of Aquilla; a brother, Newt Gant of Lockney; six grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-8 p.m.
Memorials are suggested to the Leukemia Foundation.
Myrtle Boyd
Services for Myrtle Boyd, 94, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Sanders Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Wilburn Coffman and Rev. Ken Carter of Southcrest Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 26, 1905, in Granite, Okla. She moved to Lubbock in 1941 from Crosbyton. She married
Robert C. Boyd in 1920 in the Pansy community. He died March 16, 1984.
She was a homemaker and a member of Southcrest Baptist Church.
A son, David, died in 1981. A granddaughter, Davi Carol, died in 1977.
Survivors include her daughter, Georgia McDonald of Lubbock; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Southcrest Baptist Church Building Fund.
