GRANBURY - Services for Manuel O. Montemayor, 59, of Granbury will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with the Rev. Glen Rosendale officiating.
Burial will be in Holly Hills Memorial Park under direction of Martin's Funeral Home.
He died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at M.D. Anderson in Houston.
He was born Aug. 5, 1939, in Pleasanton. He married
Juanita Jiminez on Nov. 18, 1959, in Tahoka. He was a self-employed carpenter. He lived in Lubbock before moving to Granbury three years ago.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Vincent J. Montemayor of Dallas; three daughters, Martha A. Ramirez of Irving, Margot Montemayor and Marina Montemayor, both of San Marcos; three brothers, Mike Montemayor of Thorndale, Augustine Montemayor Jr. of Lubbock and Richard Lopez of Tahoka; two sisters, Arcelia Vasquez and Helen Del Toro, both of Tahoka; mother-in-law, Clara Jiminez of Cotulla; and two grandchildren.
Preston Caddell
PORT ISABEL - Preston A. Caddell, 63, of Brownsville died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at Valley Regional Medical Clinic.
He was born May 29, 1936, in Sundown. He had been a Brownsville resident since 1956.
He was in the shrimping and insurance businesses for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Guadalupe "Lupita" Caddell of Brownsville; two sons, Preston Lee Caddell of Brownsville and David E. Caddell of San Benito; two daughters, Glenda Flores Patricio of San Antonio, and Patricia Caddell of Canyon Lake; three brothers, Jerry Caddell of Levelland, Joe Max Caddell of Sundown and Carol Caddell of Utah; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Hospital.
Roberto Gonzales Sr.
Services for Roberto Gonzales Sr., 42, of Lubbock will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael O'Dwyer officiating.
Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Thursday at W. W. Rix Chapel.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
He died Tuesday, June 22, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
He was born June 5, 1957, in Lubbock. He graduated from Estacado High School. He was employed with Eagle Picher as a machinist from December 18, 1975, until he retired because of an illness in August 21, 1996. He was a chairman of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 826. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons; Robert Jr. and Richard Gonzales both of Lubbock; a daughter, Angela Gonzales of Lubbock; two grandchildren; his parents Moses and Anita Gonzales of Lubbock; three sisters; Janie Wandler of Oceanside, Calif., Diana Palacios of Lubbock, and Alice Martinez of Lubbock.
Mary Alice Teaff
POST - Services for Mary Alice "Tot" Teaff, 77, of Post will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church in Post with Rev. Syl Moore, a retired Baptist minister from Abernathy, officiating.
Burial will be in Terrace cemetery under direction of Justice-Mason Funeral Home.
She died Thursday, June 17, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 14, 1921, in Lynn County. She attended school at Grassland and graduated from Post High School. She married
William Howard "Tuffy" Teaff on Aug. 8, 1942 at Close City. He died Feb. 25, 1980.
She worked for McCord Motor Company for 49 years before retiring in 1995.
She was a member of Grassland Church of the Nazarene and also a member of John Miller VFW Post 6796 Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, Howard L. Teaff of Lubbock; a brother, Glenn Norman of Post; a sister, Erlene Saage of Dallas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jewel Marie Ogle
AMARILLO - Jewel Marie Ogle, 86, of Amarillo died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Lubbock's Highland Medical Center.
Cremation will be under direction of Resthaven Crematory.
She was born Feb. 2, 1913, in Fleetwood, Okla.
She was a private nurse in the Amarillo area for many years. She was a longtime Amarillo resident.
Survivors include two sons, Jessie C. Ogle Jr. of Amarillo and Larry P. Ogle of Stanfield, Ariz.; a brother, Paul Peacock of Oakland, Calif.; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Rosa Decker
HOBBS, N.M. - Graveside services for Rosa Lee Decker, 78, of Hobbs will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Memory Gardens with L.B. Harris, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, Inc.
She died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Lea Regional Medical Center in Hobbs.
She was born May 18, 1921, in Vernon. She married
Carl Decker on March 9, 1942, in Seagraves. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. She had lived in Hobbs since 1951.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include a son, Joe Decker of Hobbs; a brother, Jimmy Russell of Gainesville; two sisters, Cora Mitchell and Louise Wolf, both of Gainesville; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Her body will be at Griffin Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m. Friday.
Richard Floyd
GARLAND - Services for Richard L. Floyd, 76, of Garland will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Abel and Lucas Berk officiating.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. in Masonic cemetery in Mount Pleasant under the direction of Williams Funeral Directors.
He died Tuesday, June 29, 1999.
He was born June 11, 1923. He was a retired sales manager for Continental Electronics Manufacturing Company for 27 years, and a Captain in the Air Force during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucille Elizabeth Floyd in 1992.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Ruth Floyd of Garland; a daughter, Vickye Caldwell of Dallas; a son, John Floyd of Lubbock; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Harden of Garland; and four grandchildren.
