PETERSBURG - Services for Don "Nannernose" Eilland Parr, 62, of Petersburg were held Friday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Jesse J. Nave, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in Petersburg cemetery under direction of White Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday, June 23, 1999.
He was born March 24, 1937 in Knox City. He attended Idalou High School. He married
Evelyn Marie Gregory on June 23, 1960, in Petersburg. They moved to Petersburg in 1994 from Estacado. He was a retired farmer and a member of Estacado Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; his parents, Charlie and Starlie Parr of Idalou; two daughters, Lisa Philips and Judy Ferguson, both of Abilene; four grandchildren; a brother, Dale Parr of Idalou; and two sisters, Carrol Baker of Idalou and Sammie Sloan of Austin.
The family suggests memorials be made to Petersburg E.M.S., Petersburg cemetery, 1524 Main, 79250, Petersburg Public Library, 1614 Main, 79350, or a favorite charity.
Maria Reyes
IDALOU - Rosary for Maria Del Refugio Reyna Reyes, 92, of Lubbock will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the same church with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officiating.
Burial will be under direction of White Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Lakeside Rehabilitation and Care Center.
She was born Oct. 10, 1906 in Rio Hondo. She married
Fermin Reyna on Oct. 16, 1925, in San Benito. She moved to Lubbock in 1964 from Marlin. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, and a member of the Cursillistas.
Her husband died in December of 1992.
Survivors include five sons, Mateo Reyes Sr. and Domingo Reyes, both of Lubbock, Ausencio Reyes of Calvert, Edwardo Reyes of Marlin, and Ventura Reyes of Olton; two daughters, Petra Trevino of Lubbock, and Beneralda Serna of Calvert; 29 grandchildren; 37-great grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pedro Reyna of Los Indios, and Raynaldo Reyna of Olmito; and a sister, Trinidad Cuevas of San Benito.
Leon Cheatham
PLAINS - Services for Leon Cheatham, 65, of Plains will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Ken Horn officiating.
Burial will be in Plains cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
He died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, in Plains.
He was born Aug. 26, 1934, in Chillicothe. He married
Thelma Addison on Aug. 28, 1953, in Brownfield. He moved to Terry County in 1944. He graduated from Union High School in 1952.
He was a farmer.
He served on the board of directors of the Yoakum County Farm Bureau and was a member of First Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Michael Cheatham of Springfield, Ill.; two daughters, Donna Jo Miller of Plano and Laurie Harrelson of Crane; a sister, Anita Hancock of Brownfield; four brothers, Weldon Cheatham of Chandler, Darwin Cheatham of Keller, Kenneth Cheatham of Allen and Keith Cheatham of Lubbock; and seven grandchildren.

Everett Busbea
Services for Everett L. "Buzz" Busbea, 71, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at City of Lubbock cemetery with the Rev. Tim Winn officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
He died Thursday, June 24, 1999, in the V.A. Hospital in Amarillo.
He was born on Aug. 15, 1927 in White County, Ark.
He married
Ruth Lockeby on Feb. 14, 1952, in Clovis, N.M. She died on June 7, 1975. He was a plumber with Armstrong Mechanical for eight years. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include a son, Rick of Lubbock; two daughters, Debra Weems of Lubbock and Rita Womack of Mineral Wells; a brother, Earl of Shallowater; two sisters, Inez Nichols and Dean O'Razda, both of Alaska; and nine grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. at Rix Funeral Directors.
Minnie Ruth Kemp
ABERNATHY - Services for Minnie Ruth Kemp, 56, of Abernathy will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Abernathy Church of Christ with the Rev. David Bennett and the Rev. Condy Billingsley officiating.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Cienega cemetery in Crow Flat , N.M., under the direction of Abell Funeral Home.
She died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center Lakeside.
She was born Jan. 1, 1943, in Alamorgordo, N.M. She married
Eugene Kemp Jr. on Aug. 25, 1962, in Abernathy. She moved to Abernathy in 1969 from Dell City. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Jesse Kemp of Beaumont and David Kemp of Abernathy; two brothers, Clifton Dean of Crow Flat and Upton Dean of Roscoe; a sister Lavada Lewis of Dell City; and two grandchildren.
Kelli McPhaul
Graveside services for Kelli Colleen McPhaul, 33, of Austin will be at 10 a.m. Monday at City of Lubbock cemetery with the Rev. Ronnie Marley, pastor of Northside Baptist Church in Lamesa, officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
She died Thursday, June 24, 1999, in Lufkin.
She was born May 26, 1966, in Lamesa. She graduated from Borden County High School in 1984. She attended Texas Tech. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Lamesa.
Survivors include her parents, Jack and Marilyn McPhaul of Lubbock; and two sisters, Heather McPhaul of Tucson, Ariz. and Jacquelyn Bilbro of Austin.
Visitation will be at noon Sunday at Branon Funeral Home.
