Burial will be in Westlawn cemetery under direction of Foskey-Lilly-McGill Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, March 7, 1999, at Canterbury Villa of Dimmitt.
She was born Sept. 14, 1913, in Beaver. She married
Julian Sanchez Rodriguez on Nov. 28, 1929, in Brownsville. He died Aug. 27, 1991. She moved from San Benito to Dimmitt in 1953. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was a longtime member of the Cursillitas. A son, Julian S. Rodriguez Jr., died Sept. 17, 1980, and a daughter, Gloria Maruicio, died July 6, 1976.
Survivors include six daughters, Eloisa Leal, Mary Lopez, Gregoria Ramirez, Fabiana Mendoza and Elida Zamora, all of Dimmitt, and Martina Lopez of Turkey; three sons, Ramon S. Rodriguez and Juan S. Rodriguez, both of Dimmitt, and Marcelino S. Rodriguez of Hereford; a sister, Florencia Rodriguez of Indiana; 57 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Charles Reeves
PLAINVIEW - Services for Charles Reeves, 54, of Plainview will be at 2 p.m. Friday in College Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Don Robertson officiating.
Burial will be in Plainviewmeci under direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
Reeves died Tuesday, Feb. 16, 1999, in Covenant Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 13, 1945, in Plainview. He married
Janet Tarkenton on Nov. 25, 1969, in Plainview. He graduated from Plainview High School. He attended Southwestern University in Weatherford. He received the 1997 Citizenship Hall of Fame for Agriculture.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Lacey of Plainview; a son, John of Plainview; three brothers, Jimmy, David and Steve, all of Plainview; and a sister, Janice Anderson of Meridian.
Billye Edwards

She died Sunday, April 11, 1999, at Wall Regional Hospital in Cleburne.
She was born Sept. 14, 1931, in Laredo. She grew up in O'Donnell.
She worked as an accountant until her retirement in 1985.
She was a member of Leander First United Methodist Church. She served as former president/treasurer of Senior Citizens of Cedar Park. She served as former treasurer of the home extension in Leander and she was a former president of the AARP in Leander.
Survivors include five children, Sue Webb of Fort Worth, Charles Thompson Jr. of Lufkin, Mary Aiken of Whitney, Ben Thompson of Eunice, N.M., and Pennye Thompson of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, Nolan Jones of O'Donnell; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Vada Parker
Services for Vada Parker, 81, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Bacon Heights Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles B. Murray, pastor, officiating.
Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died Saturday, March 6, 199, in Covenant Medical Center.
She was born April 8, 1917, in Wilbarger County and married
Bob Parker in Eagle Pass on Oct. 10, 1931. He died March 23, 1992. She was a homemaker and a member of Bacon Heights Baptist Church. She had been active in PTA and was a member of the Sewing Club. She enjoyed quilting and had been doing that at home for some time.
Survivors include a son, Robert L. Parker of Midland; a daughter, Brenda May of Gainesville; a brother, Truman Lyles of Ingram; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

She was born May 14, 1919, in Powder, Ore. She married
George Page, and they moved to Clovis in 1968. They opened Pages Bonsai Bonkei Nursery. They later moved the nursery to Farwell.
Survivors include her husband.
Selma Vaughn

She was born Jan. 2, 1910 in Sunnyview. She graduated from Goodnight High School. She married
Alva L. "Buster" Vaughn in 1928 in Clardendon. She moved to Lubbock in 1931. She was a buyer for J.C. Penney for 22 years and then worked in the bookkeeping department at Dunlap's for 22 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by a son, Aubrey Glenn Vaughn, in 1994.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Neil Vaughn of Lubbock; a brother, Clyde Barker; seven grandchildren; and six6 great-grandchildren.

JoAnn Erwin on Dec. 22, 1955, in Colorado City. He moved to Carrollton from Lubbock in 1980. He returned to Lubbock in 1992. He was a supervisor of tobacco sales with Philip Morris USA from 1960 until retiring in 1992. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Carrollton. He was a member of the Lubbock Lodge 1348 Benevolent Protective Order of the Elks.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Kerry and Michael, both of Lubbock and Gregg of Dallas; and four grandchildren.

She was born Aug. 25, 1945, in Winnemucca, Nev. She graduated from York College in York, Neb., and received bachelor's and master's degrees from Texas Tech University. She was a member of Chi Sigma Iota, national honor fraternity, and she was an advocate for Humane Treatment of Animals. She was a former member of the Lubbock Chorale. She worked with the Texas Rehab Commission until retiring in 1993.
She was active with the Diabetes Foundation and Diabetes Youth Camp at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She was a member of Unity Church of Lubbock. She married
David N. Holland in May 1989 in Lubbock.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Conner McGuire of Houston; two daughters, Hillary McGuire of Lubbock and Karrie Stanger of Escondido, Calif.; her mother, Margaret Blackburn of Lovington, N.M.; a brother, Alan Blackburn of Ramstein, Germany; a sister, Bonnie Ellis of Tahlequah, Okla.; and four grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Estelle Alexander of Lubbock; three sons, Marvin Lee Davis Sr., Nathaniel Davis Sr. and Zantion Hawkins, all of Lubbock; and two daughters, Ruby Faye Davis of Garland and Shirley Ann Jackson-Davis of Lubbock.

Dominga Marmolejo on July 11, 1978, in Floydada. He moved to Floydada from Lubbock in 1974. He was a roofer.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Johnny and Isreal Jr., both of Lubbock; four daughters, Teresa Castaneda of Oklahoma, Sonia Guerrero and Melissa Irlas, both of Floydada and Gloria Basaldua of Ralls; his father, Domingo Irlas of Floydada; four brothers, Robert, Isabelo and Miguel, all of Floydada, and Lupe of Lubbock; four sisters, Teresa Irlas and Eloisa Fuentes, both of Floydada, Susue Irlas of Plainview and Linda Garcia of Edinburg; and seven grandchildren.
The body will be at the church at 10 a.m. today.
