IDALOU - Rosary for Maria Del Refugio Reyna Reyes, 92, of Lubbock will be at 7 p.m. today at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at the same church with the Rev. Roland Buxkemper officiating.
Burial will be under direction of White Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, June 23, 1999, at Lakeside Rehabilitation and Care Center.
She was born Oct. 10, 1906 in Rio Hondo. She married
Fermin Reyna on Oct. 16, 1925, in San Benito. She moved to Lubbock in 1964 from Marlin. She was a homemaker, a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church, and a member of the Cursillistas.
Her husband died in December of 1992.
Survivors include five sons, Mateo Reyes Sr. and Domingo Reyes, both of Lubbock, Ausencio Reyes of Calvert, Edwardo Reyes of Marlin, and Ventura Reyes of Olton; two daughters, Petra Trevino of Lubbock, and Beneralda Serna of Calvert; 29 grandchildren; 37-great grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Pedro Reyna of Los Indios, and Raynaldo Reyna of Olmito; and a sister, Trinidad Cuevas of San Benito.
Billy Dean Polk
HOBBS - Services for Billy Dean Polk, 34, of Hobbs, N.M., will be 2 p.m. Monday in Hobbs First Assembly with Ernie Eidson, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Prairie Haven Memorial Park under direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
He died Thursday, June 17, 1999, in Gaines County.
He was born Sept. 13, 1964 in Andrews. He married
Neshia Boyd Polk on April 7, 1983, in Andrews. He was a member of Hobbs First Assembly of God Church. He was active in his church and coached baseball.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Matthew and Billy R. Polk, both of Hobbs; a daughter, Jennifer Polk of Hobbs; and three sisters, Tammy Porter, Kim Richardson and Diantha Hays, all of Hobbs.
The family suggests memorials to Hobbs First Assembly of God Church.
Charles C. Galt
HALE CENTER - Graveside services for Charles C. Galt, 89, of Lubbock were held at 11 a.m. Friday at Hale Center cemetery with the Rev. Ken Rowland, pastor of First United Methodist Church of Hale Center, officiating.
Burial was under direction of Freeman-Abell Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday, June 16, 1999, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born March 2, 1910, in Wichita Falls. He graduated from Hale Center High School in 1928. He served in the Army until 1945. He lived in Anchorage and Seward, Alaska, for 39 years, moving there in 1953. He lived in Hale Center until moving to Lubbock two years ago. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a brother, Tommy Galt of Baytown; and two nieces and a nephew.

David Aynes Jr.
LAMESA - Services for David Edward Aynes Jr., 75, of Lamesa will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Terry officiating.
He died Saturday, Oct. 9, 1999, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1924, in Crosbyton. He married
Paula Aynes on June 13, 1947. She preceded him in death on Jan. 29, 1995. He was a member of First United Methodist Church for 48 years. He was partner and manager for Collins Department Store in Lamesa. He was a past president of Lions Club. He was secretary for Boy Scout Troop 708. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1943 to 1946.
Survivors include his wife, Claudie Aynes of Granbury; two sons, Doug Aynes of Granbury and Marty Aynes of Conroe; two sisters Mary Frances Jones of Lubbock and Florence Kathryn of Ralls; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First United Methodist Youth Fund.
Paul Farris
Services for Paul McKenzie Farris, 69, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial cemetery under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
He died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999, in Prairie House Living Center in Plainview.
He was born June 13, 1930, in Lubbock. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1948.
He owned and operated Ripley's Sewing Machine Exchange for eight years. He was a salesman for Sears Roebuck Co. and was a route salesman for Dickies Work Clothes Rental Service.
He was a charter member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church, Methodist Men and a member of the Lubbock Jaycees, receiving the Key Man Award in 1953.
Survivors include a son, Larry D. Farris of Quanah; two daughters, Brenda Farris Gillham of Houston and Valerie Farris of Austin; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.

Mary Marney
HEDLEY - Services for Mary Badgett Marney, 67, of Hedley will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church in Hedley with the Rev. Neely Landrum, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Childress cemetery under direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
She died Wednesday, Feb. 10, 1999, in Hedley.
She was born Feb. 26, 1931, in Childress. She moved to Hedley from Lubbock in 1995. Her first husband, Bob Badgett, died in 1995. She married
Michael Marney on July 16, 1998, in Lubbock. She was a CPA for 25 years until retiring in 1993. She was a former president of the Texas Society of CPAs and South Plains Trust and Estate. She was chairwoman of the National Association of Royalty Owners, and she was a former officer of the Lubbock YMCA and YWCA. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Hedley.
Survivors include her husband; her father, William R. Jones of Childress; a daughter, Laura Sims of Amarillo; a son, Scott of New York; a stepdaughter, Trisha Henningsen of CeeVee; and two grandchildren.
R.G. "Dick" Stapleton
Services for R.G. "Dick" Stapleton, 84, of The Woodlands will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Abbey Chapel of Resthaven Funeral Home with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Stapleton died Wednesday, March 3, 1999, in Houston.
He was born July 6, 1914. He owned Stapleton Lumber Co. in Wolfforth. He moved to Eastland from Wolfforth in 1965, and he moved to Dumas in 1973. He moved to Houston in January 1999. He farmed and ranched in Eastland and Dumas. In Wolfforth, he helped found the Wolfforth Heights Addition, the Wolfforth State Bank, and he brought natural gas to many irrigation wells. He was a U.S. veteran of World War II. He was a member of Dumas Lions Club and Christ United Methodist Church of Dumas.
Survivors include his wife, Ida B. Stapleton; two sons, Richard of Statesboro, Ga., and Jim of Houston; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
