Thelma L. O'Brien
PLAINVIEW - Services for Thelma L. O'Brien, 82, of Plainview will be at 1 p.m. today at Family Life Chapel-First Baptist Church with the Rev. Travis Hart, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
She died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, in Alexandria, Va.
She was born April 2, 1917, in Parker County. She married
Connie O'Brien Jan. 8, 1937, in Lamesa. He died Feb. 25, 1989.
She farmed with her husband in Dawson and Floyd Counties. She moved to Plainview in the early 1970's. She was an active member of First Baptist Church for 25 years, a member of Eastern Star, a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed quilting ad gardening.
Survivors include a daughter, Loy Harrison of Springfield, Va.; a son, Scott Harrison of Bolder, Colo.; three granddaughters; a grandson and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Faith in Sharing House, 504 Joliet St. Plainview, 79072.
Dixie Mae Williams
ODESSA - Services for Dixie Mae Williams, 88, of Odessa will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Paducah with the Rev. David Alessandro, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Bull Creek cemetery under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home of Paducah.
She died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at Odessa Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 28, 1912, in Henderson, in Rusk County. She was a longtime resident of Paducah and retired after more than 30 years of nursing from Richards Memorial Hospital, prior to moving to Odessa about 12 years ago.
She married
Ezra Ira Nash on Nov. 13, 1930, in Clovis, N.M. He died Nov. 14, 1947. She remarried
William Bryan Williams on July 22, 1953, in Hollis, Okla. He died June 11, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Burgess Smith.
Survivors include two sons, Ezra Ira Nash Jr and Larry Nash both of Odessa; two sisters, Lois Laminack of Paducah and Margie Charping of Kilgore; and three brothers, Leroy Smith of Odessa, Curtis Smith of Kilgore and Herschel Smith of Rio De Janerio, Brazil; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Funeral Home.
Wendell Fullingim
LORENZO - Services for Wendell Fullingim, 54, of Lorenzo will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lorenzo Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating.
Burial will be at Lorenzo cemetery under the direction of Adams Funeral Home of Lorenzo.
He died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, at his residence.
He was born June 13, 1945, in Wheeler. He married
Linda Welborn July 12, 1963, in Lubbock.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lorenzo where he taught Sunday school for years. He was also a member of the Lorenzo Lodge and was a Masonic Lodge Past Master. He graduated from Lubbock High School in 1963. He moved to Lorenzo from Brookshire in 1975.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Wendell Jr. of Lubbock, Jackie Eugene and, Adam Young both of Austin; two daughters, Shelly Aycock of Lorenzo, Cassie Chesnutt of Aransas Pass; two brothers, J Worth Fullingim of Lubbock and Dwight B. Fullingim of Saudia Arabia and Denton; and six grandsons.

Sharon Sutton
Memorial services for Sharon Lynn Sutton, 48, of Austin will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Clifton Mann officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home.
She died Sunday, Oct. 10, 1999.
She was born Sept. 28, 1951, in Dade Co., Fla. She graduated high school in Fairview, Mich. and attended Michigan State University. She graduated from the University of Michigan and received her bachelor's degree in museum science. She received her master's degree in museum science from Texas Tech. She served as director of the Scurry County Museum at Texas Western College for six years. She graduated from Texas Tech Law School in 1986 with honors. She worked as an attorney with the firm of Carr, Evans, Faust, and Hunt, LLP. She also worked as a practitioner in Silverton, served as the County Attorney for Briscoe County and was an attorney for the State of Texas with the Office of the Attorney General and the Public Utility Commission.
Survivors include her parents, Jean and Robert Graham of Mio, Mich.; a brother, Ronald Sutton; three step brothers; and two step sisters.
The family suggests memorials to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Orville Lackey
MULESHOE - Services for Orville Lackey, 82, of Muleshoe will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Green and the Rev. Robert Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Muleshoe Memorial Park cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday, March 1, 2000, at his residence in Muleshoe.
He was born Feb. 21, 1918, in Hamilton County. He married
Florence Holbert in Abernathy on Nov. 20, 1937.
He had lived in the Muleshoe area since 1976, when he moved from Longview. He served in the Army during World War II and worked as a farmer. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Muleshoe.
Survivors include his wife, Florence of Muleshoe; two sons, Dean of Midlothian and Randy of Muleshoe; a daughter, Yvonne Eskew of Greenville, S.C.; five sisters, Geneva Snyder of Ropesville, Mary Lee McCaghren of Levelland, Evelyn Goode and Jean Lambrick both of Lubbock and Nell Thompson of Anson; three brothers, James "Pete" of Albuquerque, N.M., John of Roswell, N.M., Homer of Muleshoe; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Beatrice Faye Rader
Memorial Services will be held at a later date for Beatrice Faye Rader, 78.
She died Wednesday, March 1, 2000 at her residence in Lubbock.
She was born July 16, 1921, in Tulia. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University in June of 1971. She moved to Lubbock in 1974 from Roswell, N.M. She was a registered nurse working in Lubbock for many years. She helped open University Medical Center and worked at St. Mary Hospital, retiring in 1986.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of Trinity Church in Lubbock.
Survivors include a son, Bob Nunley of Lynchburg, Va.; two daughters, Bernice Crites of Ransom Canyon and Alice Taylor of Lubbock; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bernice Bowling of Henderson, Nev., and Wilma Williams of Tucson, Ariz.
Henry Stratford May Sr.
DENVER CITY - Services for Henry Stratford May Sr., 80, of Denver City will be 4 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Darren Skinner officiating.
Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.
He died Monday, April 3, 2000. He was born Jan. 29, 1920, in Alamance County, N.C. He married
Doris Richardson in May 1946. She died in 1991, and a son, Daniel Richardson May, also died in 1991.
He attended the University of North Carolina, was a World War II U.S. Army Air Corps veteran and a retired farmer and former owner of the Broadway Inn. He was a former president of the Denver City Rotary Club and a director for the Yoakum County Water Conservation District.
Survivors include a son, Henry Stratford May Jr. of Houston; a daughter, Jane May Rivera of Guymon, Okla.; a brother, William Stratford May of Port Orange, Fla., and five grandchildren.
