Burial will be in Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, April 4, 2000. She was born June 7, 1954, in Stamford. She married
Mike Teaff on April 7, 1975, in Denver City.
She was a lifelong resident of Denver City, a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Jonathan Teaff of Palestine; a daughter, Melissa Gaylon of Denver City; her parents, Ernest and Euna Mae Tipton of Denver City; a brother, Ernest Tipton Jr. of Denver City; two sisters Karen Rawls of Denver City and Janice Sires of Wolfforth, and two grandchildren.
Norene Rogers
TURKEY - Services for Norene Alvereta Rogers, 82, of Turkey will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Turkey with the Rev. Melvin Clinton, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Dreamland cemetery in Turkey under the direction of Myers-Long Funeral Directors of Turkey.
She died Sunday, April 23, 2000, in Amarillo.
She was born Dec. 8, 1917, in Canute, Okla. She married
Thomas Alva Rogers on June 7, 1947, in Silverton. He died June 23, 1979. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church and the Amarillo Senior Citizens.
Survivors include a daughter, Lola England of Amarillo; four sisters, Myrtle Mayes and Lois Breece, both of Amarillo, and Alice Everett and Ola Faye Hisee, both of Lubbock; a brother, Louis Randell of Turkey; four grandsons; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Lois Martin
Services for Lois Ann Martin, 77, of Lubbock will be 2 p.m. Monday in Indiana Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Rev. Jim Gerlt, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Englewood cemetery in Slaton under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Friday, April 21, 2000, in Covenant Medical Center.
She was born on Aug. 31, 1922, in Henrietta and moved to Lubbock in 1957 from Miami, Texas. She married
John A. Martin on April 6, 1940, in Spur.
She graduated from Spur High School and attended Hardin-Simmons University and also attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
She was a homemaker and a member of Indiana Avenue Baptist Church and the Class of Love.
A grandson, Scott Martin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Kenneth F. Martin of Belleville; a daughter, Carolyn Barber of Hewitt; three brothers, Felix Whitwell of Bull Head City, Ariz., Homer Whitwell of Burleson, and J.P. Whitwell of Grand Prairie; two sisters, Sue Campbell of Lubbock and Marie Laine of Fort Worth; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
The family suggest memorials be made to Indiana Avenue Baptist Church Building Fund, 8315 Indiana Ave., Lubbock 79423.
The family will receive friends from 4-5 p.m. today at Sanders Funeral Home.
Kirk Allen Webb
HOBBS, N.M. - Services for Kirk Allen Webb, 23, of Hobbs, N.M. will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jefferson Street Church of Christ with Virgil Webb, officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home in Hobbs.
He died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, in Hobbs.
He was born Jan. 25, 1977, in Hobbs.
Survivors include parents, Steve and Nancy Webb of Hobbs.; three brothers, Brent Karr of Hobbs., Ron Hipp of Salem, Ore., and Curt Capps of Midland; three sisters, Ann Gossett of Gallup, N.M., Cheryl Capps of Dallas and Stephanie Webb of Miss.; maternal grandparents, Duel and Dorothy Richardson of Hobbs and paternal grandmother, Donna Capps.
Pauline Benefield
MULESHOE - Graveside services for Pauline Benefield, 98, of Silverton, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Muleshoe Memorial Park with Ted Kingrey officiating.
Burial is under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada.
She died Saturday, March 25, 2000, at Floydada Rehabilitation and Care Center.
She was born on Sept. 2, 1901, in Pine Forrest. She attended and graduated from Sulphur Springs in 1918 and graduated from Texas Tech. She moved to Silverton from Muleshoe in 1969.
She married
S.L. Benefield on April 12, 1924. He died Feb. 14, 1968. She retired from teaching school in 1966. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Silverton.
A son, Jerry, died in 1968; a daughter, Gayle Robertson, died in 1990.
Survivors include three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to First Methodist Church PO Box 720, Silverton 79257 or to a favorite charity.
