Beulah Hargis
Graveside services for Beulah Hargis, 98, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Eastland cemetery with Alan Lynch, associate pastor of First Baptist Church of Dallas, officiating.
Burial will be under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
She died Friday, March 24, 2000, at her residence.
She was born on March 9, 1902, in Waldron, Ark. She married
Marvin Hargis on Dec. 2, 1922, in Burkburnett. He died Oct. 31, 1968. A son, Sonny Boy Hargis, died in 1931, and a daughter, Martha Jane Hargis, died in 1937.
She was a postal clerk at the New London post office for 25 years, retiring in 1969. She lived in New London for 55 years before moving to Lubbock in 1992. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Ann Easley of Lubbock; and two brothers, Logan Lynch of Lubbock and Theron Lynch of Fresno, Calif.
Lucile Wright
ANDREWS - Services for Lucile Wright, 84, of Denver City will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Primitive Baptist Church in Andrews with Elder Don Farris and Elder Gail Faries officiating.
Burial will be in the Andrews Old cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
She died Thursday, March 9, 2000, in Denver City.
She was born June 21, 1915, in St. Augustine. She married
J.M. Wright on Dec. 29, 1930, in Afton. They moved to Andrews in 1945. He died on Oct. 20, 1988. She moved to Denver City in 1999. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Andrews Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Tony of Denver City; a sister, Mary Francis Thaxton of Nashville, Tenn.; a brother, Martin Nichols of Post: two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials to Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
The family will receive visitors from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Jerry L. Jackson
SNYDER - Services for Jerry L. Jackson, 59, of Snyder will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Avenue D Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Day officiating.
Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
He died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2000, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
He was born Dec. 20, 1940, in Di Mound.

Jeanie Green on Feb. 25, 1961, in Kermit.
Survivors include his wife; mother, Banner Jackson of Dolores, Colo.; three daughters, Jerra Holley and Jana Young, both of Snyder, and Johna Wild of Breckenridge; three sisters, Colleen Smith of Dolores, Colo., Paula Bradford of Farmington, N.M., and Eudall Vottrebeck of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Alton Jackson of Phoenix, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
John Curtis
SNYDER - Services for John D. Curtis, 75, of Snyder will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral home with the Rev. Danny Williamson officiating and the Revs. Mike Matheny and John Murdoch assisting.
Burial will be in Hillside Memorial Gardens under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

He was born March 21, 1924, in Rains County. He married
Elnora Ward on June 11, 1993, in Snyder. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of Light House Assembly of God.
His first wife, Faye Curtis, died Dec. 31, 1991.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Janet Davis and Eugenia Bates, both of Snyder; two sons, Dewayne of Lubbock and Randall of Houston; three step-daughters, Pamela Nitch of Fort Worth, Becky Loften of Midland and Marsha Orr of Denver, Colo.; a brother, Elvin of Mineral Wells; three sisters, Willie Moore of Snyder, Wanda Porter of Sweetwater and Natalie Clark of Snyder; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Rex Bridges
Services for Rex H. Bridges, 70, of Lubbock will be at 2 p.m. today at W.W. Rix Chapel with Larry Cothrin, associate chaplain of University Medical Center, officiating.
Burial will be in Terry County Memorial cemetery in Brownfield under direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
He died Sunday, June 20, 1999, at University Medical Center.
He was born May 1, 1929, in Lubbock and was raised in Abernathy. He married
Juana Jay Barret, October 20, 1980, in Roswell, N.M.
He worked as a barber for 25 years and in real estate for 15 years.
He was a former member of the Lubbock Association of Realtors, the Texas Association of Realtors and was general manager for LandMark Realtors for several years.
He designed and custom-built homes in the Lubbock, Plainview and Shallowater areas for many years. He was a former board member for the United Way. He served in the Army National Guard for 12 years and was a member of the Texas Tech Football first down marker chain crew for six years. He was a Little League soccer coach.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Kay Ward of Lubbock; a son, Stacy Bridges of Lubbock; two step-sons, David VanStory and Jay VanStory, both of Dallas; and four grandchildren.

Frank King
Services for Frank L. King, 70, of Lubbock will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 5, 1999 in the Elgin Ave. Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Buckland, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
He died Monday, June 28, 1999.
He was born on August 6, 1928, in Dallas. After graduating from Colorado City High School, he was a graduate of Texas A&M; University and the University of Texas School of Law. He married
Nelda J. Brown on September 2, 1962, and moved to Lubbock in 1966. He was a Staff Attorney for West Texas Legal Services. He was a member of the Lubbock Bar Association and the Texas Bar Association. He served for the Moot Court at the Texas Tech Law School; as well as providing pro bono legal services for the citizens of Lubbock County. He was a member of the Elgin Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Frank King Jr. of Arlington, Bud W. and Britt King, both of Dallas, Robert 'Bobby' King of Lubbock; and Bradford L. King, M.D. of Rochester, Minn.; a daughter, Sharon Castleberry of Arlington; and 13 grandchildren.

FARWELL - Services for James Eric Williams, 31, of Farwell will be held 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church with the revs. Richard Laverty, Greg Martin, Gene Christian, and Aaron Reed officiating.
Burial will be in Sunset Terrace cemetery under direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home.
He died Monday, June 28, 1999.
He was born March 13, 1968, in Muleshoe. He graduated from Farwell High School. He graduated from Texas Tech in 1990. He married
Susan Kerr on August 17, 1991. He was a member of the Texas and New Mexico Aerial Applicators Association, and First Baptist Church. He was a farmer and owner of Farwell Spraying Service.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Brock of Farwell; and daughters Brittney, Bailey, and Brenna, all of Farwell; his parents, Bert and LaMoin Williams of Farwell; a brother, Mark of Farwell; three sisters, Tracy DeVault of Farwell, Nicky Leithen of Dallas, and LeeAnn Blackford of Friendsville, Tenn.
