Jack Lomax
Graveside services for Jack Lomax, 90, of Lubbock will be 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Doyle Patterson, associate pastor of Trinity Church, officiating.
Entombment will be under direction of Sanders Funeral Home.
He died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, in University Medical Center.
He was born on April 26, 1909, in Johnson County. He grew up in Plainview and learned to fly at an early age. He was a barn stormer.
He joined the United States Marine Corps during the 1930s and was a pilot. He landed on the nation's first aircraft carrier, the USS Lindsay.
He joined the Sea Bees in 1942 and served at Guadalcanal.
He married
Jeane Miller on July 10, 1936 in Amarillo. She died in March of 1985.
He started working for Southwestern Public Service in 1948 and retired in 1974 as a sub station supervisor.
Survivors include a great-granddaughter, Anna Blakemore of Lubbock.
Danielle Natividad
SEAGRAVES - Services for Danielle Lezetta Natividad, infant daughter of Javier and Machelle Natividad of Seagraves, were at 2 p.m. Thursday in Seagraves with Ovidido Martinez officiating and Junior Martinez assisting.
Graveside services were under direction of Head Family Funeral Home.
She was stillborn Monday, June 21, 1999, at Andrews Hospital.
Survivors include her parents, a sister, Abigail Natividad of Seagraves; paternal grandparents, Toribio and Rachel Natividad of Seagraves; and maternal grandparents, Tony Briones of Seagraves and Stela Briones of Seminole.
Mozelle Nelson
Services for Mozelle Shannon Nelson, 85, of Lubbock will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dave Treat, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.
She died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, at Covenant Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 29, 1914, in St. Joe. She graduated from Liberty High School in Lubbock County in 1931. She married
Seamon L. Nelson on Dec. 20, 1933, in Lubbock. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Lubbock since 1923. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Nanette Roberson of Los Angeles, Calif., and Suzanne Shannon of Albuquerque, N.M.; a sister, Marjorie Graves of Colorado Springs, Colo.; four granddaughters, and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to Asbury United Methodist Church or a favorite charity.
Ina Matheny
ROCHESTER - Services for Ina Mae Matheny, 91, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Rochester Church of Christ with John Greeson and Robert Matheny officiating.
Burial will be in Rochester cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
She died Wednesday, June 30, 1999, at her home.
She was born May 6, 1908, on a farm northwest of Rule. She graduated from Rule High School in May 1926. She attended Hardin-Simmons College. She married
H.L. Matheny on March 22, 1929, in Rule. They lived in Rochester and she served as postmaster and later worked in the bank. She was a member of Sunset Church of Christ in Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Feb. 17, 1990.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mary Sue Henry of Amarillo; five nieces; and 16 nephews.

Norma Francisco
Graveside services for Norma Jean Francisco, 73, of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park with the Rev. Lynn Long officiating.

She died Friday, Oct. 1, 1999, in Lubbock.
She was born Aug. 10, 1926, in Plainview. She attended schools in Cisco. She moved to Tahoka in 1941. She married
Clyde McKinnon in 1944. He died in 1982. She moved to Lubbock in 1983 from Wichita Falls. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Houchin of Lubbock and Norma Jo McKinnon of El Paso; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Opal Lee Rackley
DALLAS - Services for Opal Lee Rackley, 77, of Dallas will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Dallas with the Rev. Harry Meissner officiating.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Sparkman Hillcrest.
She died Tuesday, June 29, 1999, in Dallas.
She was born June 1, 1922, in Durango, Colo. She was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church and was active in the Presbyterian Women's Organization and was a Sunday school teacher.
Survivors include two sons, Gary Rackley and Dennis Rackley, both of Dallas; a daughter, Linda Ashley of Lubbock; a brother, E.J. McConnell of Jamestown, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home.

Fannie Dotson
EL PASO - Services for Fannie Mae Dotson, 88, of Lubbock, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Harding-Orr-McDaniel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Herff Epperson officiating.
Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park cemetery in El Paso under the direction of Harding-Orr-McDaniel Funeral Home of El Paso.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
She died Monday, June 28 at her residence.
She was born July 29, 1910, in Oglesby. She married
Douglas Gordon Dotson Sr. on August 21, 1934 in Oglesby. She moved to Douglas, Ariz., in 1937 and then to El Paso in 1951. She had lived in El Paso for 45 years and was a member of Grandview Baptist Church. She moved to Lubbock in 1997. She was a member of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Lubbock, where she had a ministry of sewing for local nursing homes.
She was preceded in death by her husband on April 7, 1994, and by a daughter, Helen Crawson in 1987.
Survivors include a son Douglas Gordon Dotson Jr. of La Crescenta, Calif.; a daughter Mary Beth Niehaus of Lubbock; a brother John R. Neagle of Walden, Colo.; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
The family will receive friends at Harding-Orr-McDaniel Funeral Home, 320 Montana, El Paso on Friday July 2 from 7p.m. to 9 p.m.
