Noel Ronald Hall, age 72, passed away July 2, 2003 at United Regional Hospital.
Mr. Hall was born on April 5, 1931 in McMinville, TN to Jessie P. and Horace A. Hall. He was a master plumber and served in the army during the Korean Conflict receiving a Purple Heart.
There was a private family service held for Mr. Noel Ronald Hall. Burial was under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: five sons, Shane Hall, Springfield, MO, John Troy Hall, Canyon, TX, Ronnie Wayne Hall, Nashville, TN, Ricky Lee Hall, Lubbock, TX and Leslie Dewayne Hall, Nocona, TX; three daughters, Angela Dee Moore and Chaztel Sue Hall, both of Nocona, TX, and Ronda Lynn Hall, Nashville, TN; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Opal Millican, Lafayette, GA.
Ida Ann Rohmer
Ida Ann Rohmer, age 87, passed away July 5, 2003 at Muenster Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Rohmer was born August 20, 1915 to Mary Helen Hesse and John Alois Rohmer. She was a LVN at Harris & Trinity Oaks Hospital and was a member of the Saint Patricks Parish.
Funeral services for Mrs. Rohmer were held Monday, July 7, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. John Ohner, O.S.A. officiating. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: four sisters, Loretta Spaeth, Longview, TX, Dorothy Wright, Irving, TX, Sister Fidelis Rohmer, Jonesboro, AR. and Sister Romana Rohmer, Pocohontis, AR; three brothers, Victor Rohmer, Alfred "Johnny" Rohmer, and Maurus Rohmer all of Muenster, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Rohmer and four brothers, Joseph, Lawrence, Emil and Tony Rohmer.
Pallbeares included: David Rohmer, Cody Truebenback, Earl Wright, Alan Sapeth, Terry Rohmer, and Chris Rohmer.
Rosie Idell Pillow
Rosie Idell Pillow, age 93, of Bowie, TX, passed away August 3, 2003.
Mrs. Pillow was born February 25, 1910 in Light, AR. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Houston, TX before moving to Bowie 26 years ago. She was a member of the Church of Christ faith.
Graveside services for Mrs. Pillow were held on Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with David Hall officiating. Interment was under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: one daughter, Virginia Pillow Hughes, Bowie, TX; three sons, Hershel, Tommy, and Bobby Pillow, all of Porter, TX; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Virgil Pillow in 1955 and three sons, Harry, Leon, and Billy Pillow.
Iva Beatrice Timmons Stricklin
Iva Beatrice Timmons Stricklin, age 88, of San Antonio, TX, passed away July 31, 2003 in San Antnio, TX.
Mrs. Stricklin was born January 26, 1915 in Cheneyville, IL to Fleta May Gaskill and Ralph Leo Sticklin. She married Ralph Leo Stricklin and was a 30 year member of Delta Rho Delta Nation Sorority, Theta Chapter.
Graveside services for Mrs. Stricklin were held Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. in Nocona Cemetery. Services were directed by Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: three children, Jenny Fultz and Chris Spear, both of San Antonio, TX, and Ellen Hunter, Twisp, WA; six grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Leo Stricklin in 1967.
Juan Jaime Capuchina
Juan Jaime Capuchina, age 33, of Bowie, TX, passed away July 26, 2003 in Lawrence County, MO.
Mr. Capchina was born February 12, 1970 in Zaragoza, Mexico to Juan Capuchina and Angelina Zamora Cardenas. He married Cheryl Lynn Landers on July 14, 1991 in Montague. He lived most of life in Montague County. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in Operation Desert Storm.
Funeral services for Mr. Capuchina were held Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Forestburg Baptist Church with Rev. Stewart Holloway officiating. Interment was at Perryman Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Cheryl Capuchina, Forestburg, TX; three sons, Kelton, Rhys and Raleigh Capuchina, Forestburg, TX; his parents, Angelina Cardenas, Freistatt, MO; step father, Rojelio Lopez, Valley View, TX; three sisters, Leticia Holland, Aubrey, TX, Norma Frago, San Diego, CA, Lucerito Cuervas, Monet, MO; three brothers, Cesar Capuchina and Rojelio Lopez, both of Monet, MO, and Luis Capuchina, Greece; and a beloved friend, Ricky Landers, Forestburg, TX. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maria Isabel Capuchina.
Pallbearers included: Bryan Stradley, Ricky Landers, Billy Covington, Shannon Hammer, Dee Bell, Vernon Forrester.
Russell Eugene “Gene” Walker
Russell Eugene “Gene” Walker, age 66, of Bowie, TX, passed away August 29, 2003 in Bowie, TX.
Mr. Walker was born November 24, 1936 in Corsicana, TX. He married Joy L. Whitaker on December 21, 1957 in Bowie, TX. He was a member of the Carter Lake Road Church of Christ and was a member of the Reddy-McClellan VFW Post 8789 in Bowie, TX. He was an employee of Pioneer Aggregate Rock Crusher in Bridgeport for 30 years. He served in the U.S. Army in B Battery, 6th Howitzer Battalion 15th Artillery Division.
Funeral services for Mr. Walker were held Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the Carter Lake Road Church of Christ with David Hall officiating. Interment was at Sunset Cemetery under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: two sons, Russell Sterling Walker, Fort Worth, TX, and Keith Ray Walker, Montague, TX; one daughter, Kathy Gay Tate, Pottsboro, TX; six grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Walker, Fort Worth, TX; one sister, Joyce Rash, Mildred, TX; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy L. Walker on February 9, 2002.
Pallbearers included: Ricky Rash, Mark Rash, Scott Walker, Gaylyn Wheeler, Jimmy Crumpler, and Phil Golden.

RayNell Hellinger, age 52, of Nocona, TX, passed away August 29, 2003 at her home in Nocona, TX.
Mrs. Hellinger was born June 26, 1951 in Nocona, TX to Idell Beva Thompson and Aaron Ray Echols. She married David Hellinger and was a homemaker.
Memorial services for Mrs. Hellinger were held Tuesday, September 2, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at the Scott-Morris Chapel with Rev. Joe Ainsworth officiating.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, David Hellinger, her daughter, Cheryl Beasley, Nocona, TX; her step-children, Eric Hellinger, Washington, Gretchen Randall, San Antonio, TX, Tray Hellinger, Wichita Falls, TX; three brothers, Bobby Echols, Nocona, Tx, David Echols, Bowie, TX, and Jerry Don Echols, Gainesville, TX; and two grandchildren.

Lema Tucker, age 80, of Bowie, TX, passed away August 28, 2003 in her home in Bowie, TX.
Mrs. Tucker was born June 15, 1923 in Jack County, TX to Katherine Margaret Mansfield and Sam Houston McDonald. She married Fred Tucker and was a homemaker.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tucker were held Sunday, August 31, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jamie Reed and Larry Cox officiating. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Scott Morris Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: one son Vick Williamson, Bowie, TX; two daughters, Marjetta Calamia, El Paso, TX, Sherron Sue Williamson, Wichita Falls, TX; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Tucker on June 23, 1993.
