Loretta Fay Lile
Loretta Fay Lile, 81, passed away December 13, 2004 in Bowie, TX.
Funeral services will be Thursday, December 16 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Bowie with Mike Henson officiating, under the direction of White Family Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 6 til 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Solaris Hospice.
Loretta was born May 13, 1923 in Charlie, TX to Benjamin and Emma Hair. She married Arthur Max Lile on September 13, 1941 in Lawton, OK. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by: her parents, Benjamin and Emma Hair; twin sister, Juanita Smith; sisters, Thelma Hair, Velma Willis, Lillian Hair; and two brothers, Jack Hair and Woodrow Hair.
Loretta is survived by: her husband, Max Lile of Bowie; daughter, Jerry Lile of Bowie; grandchildren, Sharon Sullivan and her husband, Mike Laing of Lawrence, KS, Sean Sullivan of Austin; Sandra Robinson and her husband, Leonard of Krum; great grandchildren, Rhett and Reese Robinson of Krum; sister, Betty Waldrop of Panama City, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard Wayne Hamric
Richard Wayne Hamric, age 44, of Nocona, TX passed away December 13, 2004 in a nursing home in Nocona, TX.
Mr. Hamric was born December 21, 1959 in California to Brady and Ruby Petty Hamric. He was a laborer and of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services for Mr. Hamric were held Thursday, December 16, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Jerry Woods Funeral Home with Rev. Les Ryan officiating. Interment was at Crestview Memorial Park in Wichita Falls, TX under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his mother, Ruby Hamric, Wichita Falls, TX; two sisters, Betty Friemel, Wichita Falls, TX and Deanna Jimeniz, Riverside, CA; five brothers, Charles Ficklin, Iowa Park, TX, Michael Ficklin, Wichita Falls, TX, Daniel Hamric, Whitesprings, FL, Dennis Hamric, Whitesprings, FL and David Hamric, Iowa Park, TX; one uncle, Charles Petty, Nocona, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Active bearers included: family members.

Leandro Alvarada
Leandro Alvarada, age 41 of Bowie, TX passed away December 12, 2004 at Wichita Falls, TX.
Mr. Alvarada was born February 27, 1963 in Victoria, GTO, Mexico to Armando and Petra Ibarra Alvarado. He married Maria Hernandez on February 27, 1995 in Montague, TX. He was a farmer and a member of the St. Williams Catholic Church in Montague, TX. and the Farmers Market.
Funeral Mass was held Friday, December 17, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Williams Catholic Church in Montague, TX with Father Steve Berg officiating. Interment was at the Montague Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Maria Alvarado, Bowie, TX; mother, Petra Mancilla, Sunset, TX; three daughters, Sulema, Karina and Aracely Alvarado, all of Bowie, TX; one son, Eric Alvarado, Bowie, TX; four sisters, Rita Mancilla Ibarra, Sunset, TX, Alicia Jimenez Mancilla, Mineral Wells, TX, Luzelena Mancilla Ibarra, San Louis Potosi, Mexico and Maricruz Mancilla Ibarra, Sunset, TX; three brothers, Arianna Mancilla Ibarra, Sunset, TX, Rafel Mancilla Ibarra and Marco Antonio Mancilla Ibarra, both of Nocona, TX.
Active bearers included: Alejandro Moreno, Rafael Mancilla Ibarra, Romualdo Mancilla Perez, Marco Antonio Mancilla Ibarra, Bernabe Mancilla, Eusebio Morena. Honorary bearers included: Martin Baraja, Santos Diaz, Samuel Diaz, Polo Hernandez, Mariano Ibarra, Juan Antonio Mancilla.

Major Robert Lyndon Gililland
Major Robert Lyndon Gililland, age 40 died Friday, December 3, 2004 in Bexar County, Texas. Funeral services with Don Box and John Bob Cody officiating, directed by McCoy Funeral Home, were held Friday, December 10, at 1:00 p.m. at the Saint Jo Church of Christ in Saint Jo, Texas. Burial was at Dye Mound Cemetery.
Robert was born May 8, 1964 to Lyndel and Ramona Gililland in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from Denton High School in 1982, and then from Texas A&M in 1986. He went on to serve as a Electronic Warfare Officer in Operation Enduring Freedom, in combat service for about three months. He was a member of the Air Force Reserve 93rd Bomb Squadron stationed at Barksdale A.F.B. in Louisiana. Robert was a highly decorated airman receiving: Air Medal with Oak Leaf Clusters, AF Training Ribbon, AF Longevity Service Award with Oak Leaf Cluster, Combat Readiness Medal, Humanitarian Service, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon with Bronze Service Star, National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, AF Outstanding Unit Award with Oak Leaf Cluster.
Robert is survived by his parents Lyndel and Ramona Gililland of Smithville, TX, a sister, Lisa Gililland Allen and husband Harry of Weatherford, TX, Grandparents, Don and Mattie Box of Rusk, TX, and numerous loving nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, and fiancé Becki Roberts of Monroe, LA.
He is preceded in death by his Grandparents, L.A. and Elizabeth Gililland
Honorary pallbearers will be: Mike "Vern" Efferson, Larry "Whip" Wisdom, Gary Parkey, Jeff Gray, Scott Carlisle and the 93rd Bomb Squadron.

Ernest Earl Thurman
Ernest Earl Thurman, age 62, of Terrell, TX passed away December 11, 2004 in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Thurman was born May 21, 1942 in Nocona, TX to Ernest A. and Ola Faye Orrell Thurman. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona, TX. He was a shipping clerk.
Funeral services for Mr. Thurman were held Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Coats and Rev. Clark Frailey officiating. Interment was at the Nocona Cemetery under the direction of Jerry Woods Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: two sisters, Billie Marie Cook, Nocona, TX and Shirley Ruth Brice, Irving, TX.
Active bearers included: Eddy Ervin, Shannon Ervin, James Luton, Norman Waters, Calvin Duckworth and Tommy Sparks.

Minnie Ethel Bowman
Minnie Ethel Bowman, age 101, of Bowie, TX passed away December 11, 2004 in the Bowie
Nursing Center in Bowie, TX.
Mrs. Bowman was born July 3, 1903 near Emery, TX to Andrew Johnson Spencer and Susan Byrd Grantham. She married George Brit Bowman January 28, 1923 in Alvord, Texas. She was a homemaker and lifelong resident of Alvord before moving to Bowie eleven years ago. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Alvord, TX.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bowman were held Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Alvord, TX with Rev. Charles Taylor officiating. Interment was at Alvord Cemetery under the direction of Fry Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include: several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Johnson Spencer and Susan Byrd Grantham; her spouse, George Brit Bowman; and one daughter, Gladys.
Pallbearers included: Rick Davis, Allen Pitman, Audie Barclay, Leslie Hale, Lee Roy Hale and Billy Patterson.

George Thelston Clements
Gearge Thelston Clements, age 78 of Nocona, formerly of Saint Jo and Gainesville, died at 10:38 pm Wednesday, December 8, 2004 in Nocona. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Saturday at the McCoy Funeral Chapel in Saint Jo with C.E. Cole officiating. Burial was at Dye Mound Cemetery.
Born May 6, 1926 in Wingate, Texas to Jesse Dow and Lola Maud Childres Clement, George grew up and worked in the oil fields most of his life He married Agnes Leona Miller on August 21, 1949 in Odessa, Texas. They traveled around the oil fields, finally settling in the Montague and Cooke County areas. He had served in the U.S. Army for a short while during World War II.
George was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gainesville. He was a family man that really enjoyed his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His chief hobby was carving walking canes.
Survivors include: A daughter, Betty Thompson of Kennesaw, Georgia, sons: George Dale Clements and Johnny D. Clements of Gainesville, TX, 5 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, 3 sisters: LaVene Hale of Odessa, TX Jessie Mae Curtis of Odessa and Dorothy Faye Shaines of Baytown, TX. He was preceded in death by his wife Agnes Leona Clements, sisters, Anna Smith and Serena Myers and a brother John and his wife Pearl Clements.
Pallbearers included: Doug Gaston, David Gaston, James Huckaby, Kelly Barker, Mac Parker, Louis Pickett.
