Herman R. Ramey
Herman R. Ramey, 65, of Mesquite passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in Dallas.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cambell-Elrod Cemetery with Brother Bill Honea officiating.
Mr. Ramey was born April 25, 1935 in Humphrey, Ark. He served one tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force and received a National Defense Service medal. He worked for Boise of Dallas for more than 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Dycus Ramey.
Mr. Ramey is survived by his daughters, Rosa Christie of Dallas and Juanita Gostowski of Bay City; brother-in-law, John Dycus of Mesquite; sister-in-law, Lola Manry of Navasota; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Kacy Lynn Robertson, infant, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Lake Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Moore officiating.
She was born March 27, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.

Olive Armstrong
Olive Armstrong, 88, of Corsicana passed away Monday, June 30, 2003, in Corsicana.
Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral home with Rev. Don Pike and Rev. Mike Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Gary Armstrong, John Stephens, Keith Pike, Mike Gorell, David Shows, Dan Wright and W.J. Armstrong.
Mrs. Armstrong was born on Nov. 3, 1914, in Corsicana. She was born and raised in Corsicana and Navarro County.
Mrs. Armstrong was a member of the Methodist Church and a member o First United Methodist Church of Corsicana. She served all areas of the church. She attended nurses training in Corsicana and became an L.V.N. and worked at the hospital and several nursing homes before retirement. She and her husband, Stokes Armstrong, resided on the family dairy farm for more than 60 years, that had been in the family since 1872. They shared the love of country living and Jersey cows.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Stokes Armstrong in 1999.
Survivors include son Bobby Armstrong and wife Betty of the family farm; daughter Joyce Pike and husband Don or Arlington; five grandchildren Becky Armstrong, Gary Armstrong, Gina Gorell and husband Mike, Brenda Pike Stephens and husband John, Keith Pike and wife Mary Ann; five great-grandchildren Ben, Emily and Mark Stephens, Grayson and Laura Pike; brother Finis and wife Bobbie Berry of Waco; sister Sue Witt of Kaufman and a host of friends.

Phill Graham
Phill Graham, 69, of Hubbard passed away Monday, July 1, 2003, in a Hubbard nursing facility.
Visitation will be this afternoon at Wade Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at Wade Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bob Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard.
He was born June 15, 1944, in Hammond, Ind. Phill was raised in Indiana and Illinois, but had lived in Hubbard since 1992. He was a retired machinist and also worked as a maintenance mechanic. Phill had farmed in the Hubbard area for the past 11 years and also shredded pastures in the Coolidge, Mount Calm, Dawson and Hubbard areas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lucille Graham.

Pearl Patterson Ward, 91, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2003 in Corsicana.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. George Merriman officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Ward was born March 28, 1912, in Athens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ward; and three sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Leslie A. Patterson and wife Amy of Corsicana, Phillip Earl Patterson and wife Moira of San Antonio and Donald Ward of Houston; granddaughters, Phyllis Cope and husband Wes of Fayetteville, Ark., Peri Patterson of Italy, Linda Gonzales and husband Richard of San Antonio and Kim Clark and husband Larry of New Braunfels; grandsons, David Patterson and wife Judy of Longview and Michael Patterson of San Antonio; great-grandsons, Seth Cope and James Cope, both of Fayetteville, Ark., Bryan Patterson of Longview, and Matthew Gonzales and Mitchell Gonzales, both of San Antonio; great-granddaughters, Kelly Patterson of Longview and Megan Gonzales of San Antonio; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Aaron Ananias Butcher
Aaron Ananias Butcher, 82, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, June 29, 2003, at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Quiet hour will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Corsicana.
Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church in Kirvin with the Rev. Bobby Skinner officiating. Interment will follow at Sessions Cemetery in Kirvin.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Butcher, Kevin Butcher, Tramaine Butcher, Rodney Butcher, Terry Douglas and Adolphus Nolan III. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Butcher, Clarence Butcher, Arthur Butcher, Charles Barton, Quincy Butcher and Billy Smith.
Mr. Butcher was born Oct. 23, 1920, in Kirvin. He was a retired railroad section hand, retired Corsicana Emergency Corps officer, worshipful master of Andrew Lodge No. 112, reserve officer for Navarro County Sheriff's Department and reserve officer for Corsicana Police Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard C. and Autry Consulla Carter Butcher; siblings, Richard Butcher, Napoleon Butcher, Bernice Butcher Starling and Theresa Marie Butcher; and children, Melvin Lee Butcher and Beverly Jo Butcher-Tunstall-Malvern.
Survivors include his devoted wife, Cathelyn F. Butcher of Corsicana; daughters, Patricia Barton (Charles) of Dallas, Thelma Johnson and Seri Nolan of Corsicana and Evelyn Smith (Billy) of Fort Worth; son, Samuel L. Butcher of Corsicana; sisters, Alice Dillard (Elijah), Joyce Doss (Shannon) and Velma Ceasar, all of Dallas; brothers, Arthur Butcher (Jean) of San Antonio, Quincy Butcher (Kim) and Elmer Butcher (Katie) of Troy, Ohio, and Clarence Butcher of Bellwood, Ill.; aunt, Bessie Carter Fowler of Dallas; sisters-in-law, Ida Bell Butcher of Ennis, Betty Butcher of Fort Worth, Johnnie Wallace of Kirvin and Thelma Lewis of Dallas; 22 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Jo Anne Warthan Johnson
Jo Anne Warthan Johnson, 63, of Tulsa passed away Sunday, June 2, 2002 at her residence.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 13, 1939 in Houston. She married Don T. Johnson at First United Methodist Church in Corsicana in a double wedding with her sister and husband.
Mrs. Johnson earned her B.A. degree from Texas Western College at El Paso and her master's degree from Oklahoma State University. She was a retired schoolteacher, teaching both in Texas and Oklahoma for 25 years. She was a member of Phi Kappa Phi.
She and her husband had lived in several towns in Texas and Oklahoma, serving United Methodist churches for over 40 years. Throughout those years, Mrs. Johnson continually studied and took courses that would help build up the congregations where her husband served.
She was a trained chemical dependency counselor, Bethel Bible teacher, Disciple Bible teacher, and recently finished her training as a Stephen minister. She enjoyed reading, volunteering, traveling, needlework and playing with grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lin Warthan.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Dr. Don T. Johnson; daughter, Kristin Anne Johnson of Stillwater, Okla.; son, Dr. D. Todd Johnson and wife Kellye and children Hunter, Hannah, Hayden and Hallye of Tulsa, Okla.; mother, Addie Laura Warthan of Corsicana; sister, Pat Hudson and husband Harry of Corsicana; brother-in-law, John Ron Johnson and wife Ann of Corsicana; and numerous nieces and nephews.
