Ruby Alice Abbott, 90, of Groesbeck passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at Groesbeck Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Brother Bill Honea officiating. Interment will follow at Frost Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Hocutt, Elton Hocutt, Larry Hodges, Ken Milligan, Paul Monthei and Don Smith.
Mrs. Abbott was born May 30, 1911 in Navarro County to Walter and Ella Bryson Minze. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, George Abbott of Lewisville; daughters, Shirley McRae of Donie and Hazel Laymance of Waco; brothers, Alton Minze of Amarillo and Gwyndle Minze of Corsicana; 25 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Thaddene W. Lee
Thaddene W. Lee, 71, of Rice passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Chatfield with the Rev. Moses Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Chatfield Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was born May 24, 1930 in Hester Grove.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy E. Lee Sr.; son, William Arthur Lee; and daughter, Birdie M. Hereford.
Mrs. Lee is survived by her sons, the Rev. Howard Lee of Dallas and Jimmy E. Lee of Rice; daughters, Joyce Tatum of Mesquite and Radene Lee of Dallas; sisters, Lola Mae Dunn and Maxie Hudspeth; brother, Paul Williams Sr.; sisters-in-law, Birdie Louise Davis of Dallas and Rose Mackey of Hobbs, N.M.; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

C.E. Thomas Jr., 75, of Silver City passed away Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Brother Bobby Cave and Brother Bill Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Younger Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Brooks, Johnny Crawford, Mack McGraw, John Paul Ross, Elmer Tanner, Gary Patterson, Weldon "Bubba" Cottongame, Frank Greer, Lee Thomas, Freddy Thomas, Jimmy Thomas and Albert Fuentes.
Mr. Thomas was born Sept. 20, 1927, in O'Donnell to Clarence Elbert Thomas and Bythe Tipton Thomas. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a rancher and was the owner of Thomas Store in Silver City for 44 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Thomas; and sister, Lura May Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Thomas of Silver City; sons, Ricky Thomas and Kip Thomas and wife Ginger, all of Silver City; grandchildren, Zachery Thomas, Chrystal Thomas, Zeb Thomas and Zane Thomas, all of Silver City; brothers, Jackie Thomas and wife Laurene of Silver City and Ronnie Thomas and wife Garlene of Hurst; and sister-in-law, Genetha Thomas of Corsicana.

Mrs. Arnett was born Feb. 29, 1918, in Liberty.

Tommy Randle
Tommy Randle, 71, of Corsicana passed away Friday, April 13, 2001 at his home.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Corsicana.
Mr. Randle served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950 to 1954. He was the owner of Craftex Portable Buildings for the past 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Viola Owens and Hamlin Manly Randle, and brother, Dee Randle.
Mr. Randle is survived by his wife, Carol Randle of Corsicana; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Lisa Randle of Bazette and mark and Janet Randle of Corsicana; daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Randy Mumme of Port Lavaca, Tommie and Ned Balcom of Corsicana, and Laurie and Travis Bedsole of Corsicana; brother, Rol Randle of Combine; sister, Randy Cunningham of Longview; aunts, Violet Needham, Lilly Pitts and Louise Allison; 13 grandchildren, Nick, Cody, Tyler and Brooke Randle, all of Bazette, Reid, Jenna and Catie Mumme, all of Port Lavaca, Jake, Andy and Adie Balcom and Ashley, Meagan and Amanda Randle, all of Corsicana; and a number of nephews.

William "Bill' "Tow-Tow' Wheeler
William "Bill' "Tow-Tow' Wheeler, 80, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, April 14, 2001 in Corsicana.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today.
Graveside services are pending. Interment will be at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
Mr. Wheeler was a building contractor and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was born Aug. 11, 1920 in Everton, Ark.
Mr. Wheeler is survived by a daughter, Priscilla Karem of San Antonio; sister, Mrs. J.P. Allen of Columbus, Georgia; two grandsons, Joihn Gray of Dallas and Brandon Karem of San Antonio; a granddaughter, Courtney Karem of San Antonio; sister-in-law, Ruth Wheeler of San Antonio; and friend, Opal of Corsicana.

Gladys Bolling
Gladys Bolling, 79, of Hubbard passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001 in Hubbard.
Services were held this morning at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Robert Williams officiating. Interment was at Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowling was born Jan. 4, 1922 in Okfuskee, Okla. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and worked as a nurse for many years.
Mrs. Bowling is survived by a daughter, Susie Cole of Harrah, Okla.; four sisters, Nola Custor of Okemah, Okla., Jean Dotson of Seminole, Okla., Faye McCormick of Dawson, and Pearl Oakes of Wylie; three brothers, Earl Young of Phoenix, Ariz., Floyd Young of Wylie and Robert Young of Oklahoma City; grandson, Ricky Cole of Oklahoma City; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
