Clyde T. 'Red' Johnson, 75, of Corsicana passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 in Corsicana.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Corley Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bill Honea officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 21, 1926 in Pursley. He was a business owner who served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by wife Wanda Johnson.
Survivors include sons Terry Johnson and wife Karen, Jeffrey Johnson and wife Cathy, and David Johnson and wife Jennifer, all of Corsicana; sister Doris Ann Ellis of England; granddaughters Jennifer Johnson of Chicago, Tara Johnson of Midland, Kasey Johnson of Navarro, and Ashley Jones, Jordan Johnson, Alexis Johnson and Neva Johnson, all of Corsicana; and grandsons Jack Johnson and Justin Williams and wife Angie, all of Corsicana.

James H. 'Doc' Edgar, 89, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 in Corsicana.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church with Rev. Mark Luera officiating. Interment will follow at Richland Cemetery.
Mr. Edgar was born Aug. 6, 1913 in Richland. He was a science professor and was also in the Air Force.
Survivors include daughter Jan Moore of Corsicana.
Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church building fund.

Myrtle Metcalf
Myrtle Metcalf, 91, of The Woodlands passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002 in The Woodlands.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Teri Hildebrand officiating.
Mrs. Metcalf was born March 1, 1911 in Lexington, Okla. She was a member of First Methodist Church in Houston and an interior designer.
She was preceded in death by husband J.E. Metcalf Jr., parents Collie and Esther Shockley, sister Gloria Taylor and brother Leon Shockley.
Survivors include cousin Carroll Rainey and wife Sandra of Houston.

Annie Ruth Crawford
Annie Ruth Crawford, 91, of Italy, formerly of Frost, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab in Italy.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Frost.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Frost with Revs. Joe Dowdy and G.W. French Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Dresden Cemetery.
Mrs. Crawford was born Oct. 27, 1911 in Navarro County to Bob Thompson and Carrie Lindsey Thompson. She worked at a grocery store for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frost for many years.
Survivors include sons Leon Crawford and wife Mary and Erselle Crawford and wife Lola, all of Frost; daughter Glynell Smith and husband Aubrey of Waco; brother Aubrey Thompson and wife Betty of Italy; sister Vestal Kelly and husband Odell of Italy; 13 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Mollie Swank, 87, of Kerens passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 at Kerens Care Center.

Mrs. Swank was born Feb. 9, 1915.
She was preceded in death by husband, Rev. W. Fred Swank.
Survivors include daughter Susie Swank McDaniel of Kerens; son William David Swank of Fort Worth; grandchildren Diana Howard, Jim Hickey, David Hickey, Suellen Rightmer, Cindy Chatman, Kristen Karr and Mark Swank; and five great-grandchildren.

Hazel Grace Watson
Hazel Grace Watson, 84, of Waco passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 in Waco.
Graveside services were 11:30 a.m. today at Fairfield Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Turner officiating.
Mrs. Watson was born June 27, 1918 to Dr. Wiley and Lillie McFadin in Fairfield. She married George William Fryer on June 30, 1938. The couple had one son, Charles Boykin Fryer, an Air Force lieutenant who was declared missing in action in Salzburg, Austria Nov. 11, 1944. She married Howard Watson Jr. Aug. 13, 1946. Howard had one son, Howard III, and together they had a son, John Wiley Watson. The couple owned and operated Fairfield Supermarket for approximately 12 years before moving to Waco in 1969.
Survivors include sons, Charles Fryer and wife Linda of Mansfield and John Wiley Watson of wife Marlene and Howard Watson III, all of Waco; grandsons Scott Fryer of Richardson, Russell Fryer of Mansfield and Andrew Watson of Waco; granddaughters Kim Watson, Megan Watson, Nicole Cordova and Mindy Pedigo, all of Waco; great-grandsons Peyton Fryer of Mansfield and Logan Pedigo of Waco; great-granddaughter Shelly Pedigo of Waco; and sister Evelyn Fryer of Fairfield.

Wesley Godbey Smith, 94, of Fairfield passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 at his home.

Mr. Smith was born Nov. 13, 1908 in Hemphill to Thomas and Fannie Smith.

Mary Jo Hamilton, 73, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, July 27, 2002 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Wake services will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Ross and Johnson Mortuary.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Kelly Temple Church of God in Christ with Elder Joseph Johnson Sr. officiating.
Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearers will be Roosevelt Hamilton Sr., Lorenzo Hamilton, Robert Hamilton, Raymond Williams, La Gunden Hamilton and Victor Franklin.
Mrs. Hamilton was born Oct. 13, 1928 in Navarro County. She was a member of Johnson Memorial Church of God in Christ and the singing group, The Friendly Sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary McGraw; son, Roosevelt Hamilton; and grandsons, Rodney B. Williams and Roosevelt Hamilton.
Survivors include her sons, Lorenzo Hamilton and Robert Hamilton, both of Corsicana; daughters, Rosie M. Williams and husband Raymond and Shirley Barron, all of Corsicana; foster son, Billy Winston of Corsicana; sisters, Juanita Johnson and husband Fisher of Corsicana and Lizzie Renfro and husband J.C. Kenneth Wilson Roberts, 68, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, July 20, 2002 in Corsicana.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Corley Funeral Chapel with Brother Bill Honea officiating.
Mr. Roberts was born May 31, 1934 in Amarillo. He was a welder.
He is survived by son Kenneth Roberts and wife Sharon of New Caney; daughters Debrina Hogue Mooney of Willis, Denada St. Clair and Janice Kay Cross, both of Amarillo; cousin Don Wilson of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
