Charlie Ruth Dellinger
Charlie Ruth Dellinger, 78, of Mesquite passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2001 in Mesquite.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Hamilton Beeman Cemetery with the Rev. Jean Bailey officiating.
Mrs. Dellinger was born May 10, 1923 in Cross Plains. She was a sales clerk.
She was preceded in death by a son, Tony Followwell.
Mrs. Dellinger is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Robin Followwell of Terrell and Harold and Madecion Followwell of Mesquite; daughters and son-in-law, Melvin and Leslie Taylor of Kemp and Betty Whisenhunt of DeSoto; three sisters; 18 granchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.

Don McElwreath
Don McElwreath, 65, of Cedar Park passed away on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2001 in Round Rock.
A private family graveside service will be held today at Oakwood Cemetery with the Rev. Teri Hildebrand officiating.
Mr. McElwreath was born April 9, 1936 in Corsicana to Otis and Martha McElwreath. He was a graduate of North Texas State University. He owned Don McElwreath Real Estate Company where he was involved in land development, ranch sales and commercial real estate for the past 35 years. He was an avid classic car collector with a love of antique Fords from the 1930s and 1940s.
Mr. McElwreath is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Ken Holderbaum of Las Vegas, Nev. and Debbie and Randy Threadgill of Waco; sister, Doris Cowan of Sanger; granddaughters, Cassie Threadgill and Stacy Threadgill, both of Waco; nephew, Mike Cowan of Krum; and niece, Gial Green of Krum.

Evelyn Conger
Evelyn Conger, 86, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001 in Corsicana.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. today at Dresden Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Mahoney officiating.
Mrs. Conger was born Jan. 27, 1915 in Navarro Mills where she lived until she moved to Corsicana in the 1930s. She remained a member of Navarro Mills Baptist Church. The last two years of her life she resided at the Twilight Home where she received excellent care from the nurses, aides and staff.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Dean Baggett; husband, Paul Conger; mother, Effie Alice Hodges; father, Richard Lon Hodges; and three sisters.
Mrs. Conger is survived by her three grandchildren, Sandra Hoffpauir and husband Gary of Houston, Kim Carroll and husband Jack of Fairfield, and Ken Baggett and wife Carrie of Bedfort; and five great-grandchildren, Matt Hood of Houston, Jacob and Emily Carroll of Fairfield, and Mackenzie and Sydney Baggett of Bedford.

Estelle Sutton Hutson
Estelle Sutton Hutson, 91, of Corsicana passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Corsicana with the Rev. B.F. Risinger officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hutson was born Sept. 28, 1910 in the Black Hills community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hutson in 1989.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Marsha Hutson of Corsicana; granddaughters, Damara Hutson Watkins and husband Lance of Corsicana, and Kedra Shirley Mata and husband Juan of Allen; grandsons, Larry Lynn Hutson of San Diego, Calif., and Brett Shirley and wife Lezlie of College Station; and great-grandchildren, Grayson Watkins, Graham Watkins, Jake Shirley and Brooke Shirley.

Martha Fay McCary
Martha Fay McCary, 97, of Frost passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2001 at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel in Blooming Grove with the Rev. Robert Moon officiating. Interment will follow at Frost Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 9, 1904 in Frost to Dudley and Callie McCary. She graduated from Frost High School in 1924, attended North Texas State College in Denton and received her bachelor of science degree in 1939 and later received a master of education degree from University of Houston in 1949. she taught in Denison schools from 1939 to 1941, Groves schools from 1941 to 1946, and David Crockett Jr. High School in Beaumont from 1946 to 1970. She retired in 1970 and returned to Frost to live in the family home. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Beaumont since 1947. She was also a member of Brandon Presbyterian Church in Brandon. She belonged to Delta Kappa Gamma Organization for Key Women Teachers, Beaumont Retired Teachers, Texas Retired Teachers, and National Retired Teachers.
She was preceded in death by parents; brother, Dudley Cypert McCary; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Arch B. McCary and Dr. and Mrs. J.B. Cypert.
Survivors include several cousins.

David McWilliams, 43, of Dallas passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001 in Navarro County.
He was born Jan. 25, 1958 in Columbia, S.C. to Arthur C. and Lorraine McWilliams III.
He was a night auditor with Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Stephen McWilliams of Dallas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Darrell Spraggins of Linn Creek, Mo. and Rachel and Joe Rayburn of Dallas; nieces, Laura, Natalie and Kendall; nephew, Logan; grandparents, Ann Barkley of Missouri, Clarice McWilliams of Dallas and Arthur C. McWilliams of Illinois.

Jessie Keele
Jessie Keele, 73, of Purdon passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2001 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Dr. Gary Johnson and the Rev. Lonnie Keele officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bo Ivie, John Ivie, Mike Ivie, David Ivie, Wayne Ivie, Robert "Red" Keele and Charles Keele. Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Keele.
He was born Sept. 14, 1928. He was a minister from the age of 15. He pastored churches in Pasadena, Belton, Hubbard, and Corsicana with Evangel Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Alma Keele of Purdon; sons, Ronnie Keele of Cunningham, Tenn. and Terry Keele of Corsicana; daughter, Jewel Rudnikoff of Chandler, Ariz.; sister, Lillie Terry of Lancaster; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Myrtle Velma Riles Lewis
Myrtle Velma Riles Lewis, 96, of Corsicana, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
A wake service will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Ross and Johnson Mortuary Chapel.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Donald Lacey officiating. Interment will be at Woodland Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Aubrey Washington Jr., Joseph Washington, J.D. Washington, Keith Washington, Jerry Riles, Frederick Riles and George Riles.
Honorary pallbearers will be deacons and trustees of the First Independent Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lewis was born Nov. 2, 1905 in Cheneyboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Lewis; parents; eight sisters and brothers.
She is survived by her son, Wriley L. and Elizadia Lewis of Inglewood, Calif.; granddaughters, Rhode Michaelle Lewis Tillery and husband Wesley of Hawthorne, Calif., and Rhonda Danielle Lewis of Los Angeles, Calif; great grandchildren, Kira, Kyla, Keila and Rhamani; brother, Claude Riles Sr.; sisters-in-law, Jewel Riles, Alice Degraffenreid and Inez Johnson Lewis, all of Corsicana; a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
