C.E. Thomas Jr., 75, of Silver City passed away Thursday, April 10, 2003, at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Brother Bobby Oliver and Brother Bill Oliver officiating. Interment will follow at Younger Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Kenneth Brooks, Johnny Crawford, Mack McGraw, John Paul Ross, Elmer Tanner, Gary Patterson, Weldon "Bubba" Cottongame, Frank Greer, Lee Thomas, Freddy Thomas, Jimmy Thomas and Albert Fuentes.
Mr. Thomas was born Sept. 20, 1927, in O'Donnell to Clarence Elbert Thomas and Bythe Tipton Thomas. He served in World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a rancher and was the owner of Thomas Store in Silver City for 44 years.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Thomas; and sister, Lura May Wilson.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Thomas of Silver City; sons, Ricky Thomas and Kip Thomas and wife Ginger, all of Silver City; grandchildren, Zachery Thomas, Chrystal Thomas, Zeb Thomas and Zane Thomas, all of Silver City; brothers, Jackie Thomas and wife Laurene of Silver City and Ronnie Thomas and wife Garlene of Hurst; and sister-in-law, Genetha Thomas of Corsicana.

Tracy Lloyd Pennington, 6, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, April 10, 2003, at his residence.

Services will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Brother Kenneth Barber of Trinity Christian Fellowship Church officiating. Interment will follow at Dresden Cemetery.

Tracy was born March 6, 1997, in Mexia.

Mrs. Johnie (Beth) Arnett, 87, of Corsicana passed away Thursday, April 10, 2003, in Corsicana.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Resthaven Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Tony Neal officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Mrs. Arnett was born Feb. 29, 1918, in Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Arnett; and son, Robert Arnett.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Barbara Arnett of Corsicana; sister-in-law, Helen Canter of San Antonio; grandsons and wives, Randall and Vicki Arnett and Brad and Leecia Arnett, all of Corsicana; granddaughter and husband, Rhonda and Sammy Carter of Diboll; great-granddaughters, Morgan Arnett of Corsicana, Amanda Carter and Jessica Carter, both of Diboll; great-grandson, Casey Carter of Diboll; nephews and wives, H.P. and Alma smith of Baytown, Raymond and Martha Smith of Tyler and Harold and Midge Smith of California; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

James Ferguson, 16, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2003, in Corsicana.
Graveside services will be 4 p.m. today at Younger Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Thompson officiating.
He was born Oct. 27, 1986, in Jacksonville, Fla., to Richard and Theresa Ann Bomkamp Ferguson. He was a student at Corsicana High School.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Andrew Ferguson.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Richard and Donna Ferguson of Corsicana; mother, Theresa Bomkamp of Cross Plains, Wis.; brother, Eric Pohland of Corsicana; sisters, Caitlin Pohland, Michelle McGehee and Nicole Ferguson, all of Corsicana; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lavren Bomkamp of Cross Plains, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Don Ferguson of Arlington; and great-grandparents, Winifred Fredrikson of Orange Park, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. Roman Hillgers of Madison, Wis.

Caleigh Madison Coleman
Caleigh Madison Coleman, 19 months, of Corsicana, went to be with the Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 20, 2001. She passed away at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Bedford with Pastor Duane Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Bluebonnet Hills Cemetery in Bedford.

Caleigh was born July 30, 1999 in North Richland Hills. She was a special gift from God whose smile and personality touched all who came in contact with her. Although her time here was short, she will live forever in the hearts of her family.
She is survived by her parents, Bobby and Tonia Coleman of Corsicana; sisters, Caitlin Coleman and Christine Coleman, both of Corsicana; grandparents, Andy and Sandy Chonody of North Richland Hills and Robert and Janie Coleman of Corsicana; great-grandfather, Ray Anderson of Denton; great-grandmother, Virgie Coleman of Fort Worth; great-grandparents, Harold and Marie Cox of South Bend, Ind.; uncles, Todd Chonody of Bedford, Tom Chonody of Colleyville, Richard Coleman of Corsicana and Billy Coleman and wife Julie of Shreveport, La.; and cousins, Garon Chonody of Bedford and Lindsey Chonody of Euless.

Loretta Alice Fraley, 90, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at Navarro Regional Hospital.

Mrs. Fraley was born June 7, 1910 in Purdon to Walter and Flora Forshaw. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Fraley in 1978; and sons, Dan Fraley in 1965 and Lewis Fraley in 1995.
Mrs. Fraley is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Sharon Fraley of Corsicana; daughters and sons-in-law, Florene Folk of Belle Chase, La., Lina and Harold Woodard of Corsicana and Frances and Ben Wolle of New Braunfels; brother, W.M. Forshaw of Graham; sister, Lucille Arnett of Arlington; seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Reba Alice Magee McSpadden
Reba Alice Magee McSpadden, 89, of Corsicana and formerly of Blooming Grove, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2001 at Heritage Oaks Retirement Village.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Blooming Grove.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Brother Mike Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Pilgrim, Wes Ryon, Weston Ryon, Eric Pustejovsky, Kyle Pustejovsky and Will Tipping. Honorary pallbearers will be Cole Pilgrim, Ralph McSpadden, Gerald McSpadden, Richard Sanders, Eddie Lewis, Scott Pustejovsky, Danny McSpadden and Sonny McSpadden.
Mrs. McSpadden was born March 25, 1911 in Blooming Grove to David Earl and Ida Elizabeth Magee. She attended schools in Blooming Grove and Dallas. She graduated from Blooming Grove High School in 1929. In her later years she also attended Navarro College. She married Clayton McSpadden Nov. 16, 1929 and instantly became a farmer's wife for many years. She worked for several years as a clerk for the Navarro County Tax Office, retiring in 1976.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton E. McSpadden in 1974; son, C.E. McSpadden Jr. in 1952; son-in-law, Delma Tipping in 1988; sister-in-law, Sue Magee in 1991; grandson, David Tipping in 2000; and great-grandson, Jeremy Tipping in 1999.
Mrs. McSpadden is survived by her daughters, Martha N. Tipping of Abbott and special friend Robert Hulsey of Waco, and Merle J. Baldwin and husband Herman of Fort Worth; grandchildren and spouses, Steve and Thressa Tipping of Rio Vista, Melanie and Eddy Lewis of Richardson, Janice Tipping of Texas City, Cindy and Wes Ryon of South Lake, Cheryl and Mike Pilgrim of The Woodlands; great-grandchildren, Eric, Scott and Kyle Pustejovsky, Will Tipping, Randa Johnson and husband Shawn, Whitney, Wendi, Wrainey and Weston Ryon, Elizabeth Tipping Jones, Rebecca Tipping, Cara and Cole Pilgrim; great-great-grandchildren, Reanna Johnson and Katelyn Elizabeth Jones; brother, Doug Magee of Blooming Grove; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
