Herman R. Ramey, 65, of Mesquite passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2001 in Dallas.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cambell-Elrod Cemetery with Bro. Bill Honea officiating.
Mr. Ramey was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Ramey.
Mr. Ramey is survived by his brother-in-law, Joyn Dycus of Mesquite.

Pauline Wilson Hiler
Pauline Wilson Hiler, 93, of Rowlett passed away at 5:56 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2003, at Senior Care of Lake Point.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel in Blooming Grove.
Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove with Brother Grady Cashion officiating. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Russell Hiler, Chad Ramsey, Jay Estes, Stan Niece, Joe "Buddy" McGraw and Gerald McSpadden.
She was born Oct. 15, 1909, in Angus to Claude and Daisy Duncan Wilson. Pauline married Ernest "Red" Hiler Dec. 24, 1934. They had two children, Sandra Hiler Callicutt, born Jan. 12, 1940, and Ernest Eldon "Bubba" Hiler, born Dec. 29, 1941. Pauline was a homemaker and a housewife. The only work she did outside the home was chopping and picking cotton with her children beside her. Pauline loved her church and was in attendance every time the doors were open. Pauline served as church clerk at First Baptist Church in Blooming Grove from 1966 until 1986. She was very active in the women's ministries, the church choir and taught a women's Sunday school class for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest "Red" Hiler; and siblings, Claude Von Wilson, Julius Preston Wilson and Willie Mac Freeman.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Jack Callicutt of Allen; son and daughter-in-law, Eldon and Francine Hiler of Wills Point; grandchildren, Paula Callicutt Niece and husband Stan, Janna Hiler Ramsey and husband Chad, Russell Hiler and wife Tammy, and Traci Callicutt Estes and husband Jay; and nine great-grandchildren.

Marilyn Helton Krantz
Marilyn Helton Krantz, 55, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2003, in Corsicana.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Don Inman and the Rev. John A. Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be deacons of Emhouse Baptist Church.
She was born Oct. 7, 1947, in Corsicana. She was a member of Emhouse Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Helton; mother, Helen Ruth Armstrong; stepfather, Elzie Armstrong; and brother, Lee Arther Helton.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Amber and David Keele of Corsicana; son and daughter-in-law, Eric Kyle and Rene Krantz of Corsicana; granddaughters, Jennafer Fitzgerald, Rebecca Cheyenne Fitzgerald, Dakota Fitzgerald, Macayla Keele, Eryka Krantz, Alexis Krantz, Cecsily Greenup, Courtney Grant and Jo Jo Kuykendall, all of Corsicana; grandson, David Kuykendall of Corsicana; and several special cousins, aunts and uncles.

Mr. Ramey was born April 25, 1935 in Humphrey, Ark. He served one tour of duty in the U.S. Air Force and received a National Defense Service medal. He worked for Boise of Dallas for more than 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Dycus Ramey.
Mr. Ramey is survived by his daughters, Rosa Christie of Dallas and Juanita Gostowski of Bay City; brother-in-law, John Dycus of Mesquite; sister-in-law, Lola Manry of Navasota; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Alma Thomas
Alma Thomas, 85, of Richland passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at her residence.
Services were 11 a.m. today at Richland United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nancy Schusler officiating. Interment followed at Richland Cemetery.
Pallbearers were John Bruce "Rocky" Thomas Jr., T. David Thomas, Tracey D. Thomas, A. Reese Brown, James K. Johnson, Pat Smith and Kyle Hern. Honorary pallbearers were Arthur Patrick, Steve Schwarting, Bobby Grantham and Tommy Hughes.
Mrs. Thomas was born March 31, 1917 in Richland to A. Neal and Jimmie Emmaline Swink Brown Jr. After graduating from Corsicana High School, she entered Baylor University, graduating in four years with a double major and a double minor. She taught English and history as well as coached the girls basketball team for many years. She met John Thomas on a blind date and they were a couple from that time on, ultimately eloping to be married April 2, 1938. They parted only by his death 16 months ago, and now they are together forever. Mrs. Thomas was a loyal and faithful member of Richland United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Jan Brown Thomas of Dallas, son and daughter-in-law J. Bruce and Shirley Thomas of San Antonio, grandson and wife John Bruce "Rocky" and Julie Thomas and great-granddaughters Marisa and Alex of Carey, N.C., grandson and wife T. David and Liz Thomas and great-granddaughters Tori and Taylor of Southlake, grandson Tracey D. Thomas of Houston, sister-in-law Wilma Schwarting of Waco and nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Baggs was born May 9, 1919 in Powell. She was a homemaker.

Ada Lea Yager, 93, of Teague passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003 at her residence.

Mrs. Yager was born Oct. 2, 1909 in Luna in Freestone County. She worked as a seamstress for Simmons Mattress Co. A resident of Teague for five years, she lived most of her life in Grapevine. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Grapevine.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Guy Yager; parents, Richard and Emma Cooper Monk; and two daughters.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Mary Yager of Teague; sister, Eloise Nealy of Flower Mound; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Jessie Lee Hamilton, 98, of Corsicana passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2003 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Chatfield Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry L. Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Chatfield Cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton was born May 25, 1904 in Shiro.
Survivors include his brother, Claude Isaac of Shiro; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews including Margaret Ricard, Sonji Duber, Delores Cooks and David Blairs; and special friends, Erma Smith and Walter Andrews.
