Ella Billie Robinson
Ella Billie Robinson, 86, of Streetman passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 at Fairview Manor Nursing Home in Fairfield.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Macedonia Baptist Church, corner of Ross and Marsh streets, Streetman, with the Rev. Joe D. Hubbard Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Streetman.
Pallbearers will be Alvin Packer, Bennie Robinson, Curtis Robinson and Willie Jackson.
She was born July 25, 1915 in Streetman. She was a member of the Field Court No. 381 Heroines of Jericho in Streetman. She was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church until her health failed. She loved her church and would look forward to Wednesday night and Sunday services.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Captain G. Robinson and Bessie Robinson; and brothers, Jimmie L. Robinson and Fred Robinson.
Survivors include her son, Roosevelt Taylor and wife Malinda of Dallas; sisters, Lou Brown and Shirley Hart, both of Dallas, and Bessie Robinson of Fairfield; brothers, Melvin Robinson and wife Ruby of Dallas, Clint Robinson and wife Mae Frances and Curtis Robinson, all of Streetman, and Bennie Robinson and wife Brenda of Fairfield; sister-in-law, Pearl B. of Dallas; a host of nieces including Jannie Sanford and husband Ron of Plano, nephews and cousins.

Syble Stutts, 83, of Houston passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001 in Houston.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at Paschal Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Kerens Cemetery.
Mrs. Stutts is survived by her husband, Clarence Stutts of Houston; daughters, Mary Vernon of Lindale and Jimmie Mae Cole of California; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Ruth Koehler
Ruth Koehler, 73, of Corsicana, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. today and Wednesday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack and Mattie Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Mrs. Koehler was born Oct. 30, 1927 in Alvin to Allen and Icy Hickman. She was the last child of nine brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Alicia Kay Harvey and Rita Diane Harvey.
Mrs. Koehler is survived by her husband, Leonard Koehler of Rosebud; son, Rodney Harvey of Royse City; daughters, Rita Miles of Corsicana and Vickie Weeks of Morgan Hill, Calif.; stepdaughter, Mary Ann Moore of Riesel; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Ruben "Jody' Minatra, 74, of Corsicana, passed away Monday, March 26, 2001, in Corsicana.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Corley Funeral Chapel with Dr. Gary W. Johnson and the Rev. Tony Neal officiating. Interment will be at Eureka Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Richard Rash, Lynn Bottoms, Jason Bottoms, M.R. "Bunk" Bottoms, Hollis Riggs and Paul Mitchell. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth Ray, Damon DeMoss, Ronnie Childress, Larry Boswell, Bob Pritchett, Jimmy D. Coker, Jason Coker and Jim Coker.
Mr. Minatra was born August 6, 1926, in Navarro County. He was an oil field pumper.
He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Lida Minatra; son, James Marion Minatra, one sister and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Fay Minatra of Corsicana; daughters, Nelda and Billy Gorden Jr. of Mildred, Deborah and Thomas Lee Yankie of Mildred and Cheryl Minatra of Dallas; sisters, Onalee Bragg of Athens and Nova Mathis of Brenham; grandchildren Terry Gorden, Shane Farmer, Melissa Riggs of Mildred, Ruben Yankie of Mildred, Chris Gorden of Corsicana, Tim Gorden of Kerens, and Tony Gorden of Malakoff and 13 great grandchildren.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Cedar Creek Hospice.

Bummie Prater McReynolds, 90, of Corsicana, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2001 in Houston.
Services were 11 a.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Pastor B.F. Risinger officiating. Interment followed at Dawson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Bill Honea, Kenny Maxfield, Ross Maxfield, Harold Williamson, Wilson Griffin and Tom Lucas.
Mrs. McReynolds was born Feb. 4, 1911 in Dawson. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1943 where she taught in the children's department for 40 years and was a member of the sanctuary choir for 48 years. She was a 1928 graduate of Dawson High School. She received her bachelor's degree from North Texas University and her master's degree in education from East Texas State University. She taught school for 37 years, 33 of those for the Corsicana Independent School District. She was a member of Alpha Rho Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. She was a member of the Texas Retired Teachers Association and Navarro County Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Harry McReynolds in 1938; parents, Jim and Nannie Prater; brothers, Irvin Prater, Lloyd Prater and Chester Prater; sisters, Winnie McCulloch and Thelma Walker; and sister-in-law, Coymae Prater.
Mrs. McReynolds is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy P. and Annie Marie McReynolds of Houston, J. Carroll and Nancy McReynolds of Littleton, Colo.; grandchildren, Cheryl Tipton of Garland, Julie Zimmerman of Missouri City, Ruth Foster of Houston, Karen Groeneveld of Colorado Springs, Colo., Kathy Errickson of Aurora, Colo., Jim McReynolds of Houston, and Dr. Chris McReynolds of Littleton, Colo.; and great-grandchildren, Kristin Tipton, Jennifer Errickson, John Mark Zimmerman, Sam Groeneveld, Ben Groeneveld, Connor Foster, Cameron Foster, Garrett Zimmerman, Arden McReynolds and Jack McReynolds.

Dorothy Owen, 78, passed away Monday, March 26, 2001 in Paris. She was born Nov. 27, 1922 in Dallas.

Services will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Odell Owen.

Ida Miller, 88, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, March 24, 2001 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Quiet hour will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at Scott Funeral Chapel.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Sixth Avenue Baptist Church, with Pastor K.D. Davis as eulogist and the Rev. J.W. Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Chatfield Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be great grandsons Ketric Sanford, LaSodd Thomas, Michael Bass, Bobby Sanford Jr. and Michael Woods. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons Darrell Miller, Archie Miller, Lafayette Johnson, Jeffery Miller, Michael Miller, John Wayne Miller, Howard Miller III and Roy Lee Miller.
Mrs. Miller was born Sept. 20, 1912 in Timothy. She was a member of Timothy Baptist Church and later joined with Sixth Avenue Baptist Church under watch care. She worked with the choir and missions. She was a former member of Eastern Star and was president of the Timothy Cemetery Association.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Miller Sr.; and her parents.
Mrs. Miller is survived by her children, Howard Miller Jr. of Cheneyboro, Dora Johnson and Doshia Miller, both of Corsicana; brothers-in-law, the Rev. Moses Miller of Corsicana, the Rev. W.H. Miller of Fort Worth and Curtis Henderson of Dallas; sisters-in-law, Rose Miller of Corsicana, Earline Miller of Corsicana and Annie Mae Kelly of Timothy; 21 grandchildren including Vicki, her caretaker; 44 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Alva Dewayne "Bud' Jones
Alva Dewayne "Bud" Jones, 74, of Malone passed away Sunday, March 25, 2001 at his residence.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wade Funeral Chapel with Alvin Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Allan Jones, John Jones, David Jones, Leonard Stewart, Ricky Knight, Vernon Long, Buddy Stewart and Travis Jones.
Mr. Jones was born Oct. 27, 1926 in Chillicothe, Mo. He had been a resident of Malone since 1985 after living in Hubbard since 1975. He was a retired auto mechanic having worked for Waco Brake and Spring Service. He was also a rancher and Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Jones in 1984.
Mr. Jones is survived by his sons, Allan Jones of Leavenworth, Kan., John Jones of China Springs and David Jones of Malone; daughters, Linda Childres of Oletha, Kan., Kathryn Baker of Hubbard, Betty Lou Riley of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Inez Stewart of Mexia; brother, Gary Jones of Chillicothe, Mo.; 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
