Clyde T. 'Red' Johnson
Clyde T. 'Red' Johnson, 75, of Corsicana passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 in Corsicana.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Corley Funeral Home.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Corley Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bill Honea officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was born Dec. 21, 1926 in Pursley. He was a business owner who served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was preceded in death by wife Wanda Johnson.
Survivors include sons Terry Johnson and wife Karen, Jeffrey Johnson and wife Cathy, and David Johnson and wife Jennifer, all of Corsicana; sister Doris Ann Ellis of England; granddaughters Jennifer Johnson of Chicago, Tara Johnson of Midland, Kasey Johnson of Navarro, and Ashley Jones, Jordan Johnson, Alexis Johnson and Neva Johnson, all of Corsicana; and grandsons Jack Johnson and Justin Williams and wife Angie, all of Corsicana.

Dr. James H. Edgar, 89, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, Nov. 30, 2002 in Corsicana.

Dr. Edgar was born Aug. 6, 1913.
Robert Newland Jr.
Robert Newland Jr., 74, of Kemp passed away Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 in Athens.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at Younger Cemetery with Rev. Jim Jones officiating.
Pallbearers will be Brian Peters, Craig Erwin, Allen Koenig, Jason Peters, Danny Newland and Jerry Newland.
Mr. Newland was born Feb. 24, 1928 in Ennis. He worked as a bread salesman for Wonder and Sun Beam Companies for 38 years, retiring in 1991. He served in the United States Air Force as a Military Police in Germany from 1945-'48. He was a member of the Payne Springs United Methodist Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by parents Robert and Bernice Newland Sr. and brothers Carl Newland and Derwood Newland.
Survivors include wife of 54 years Marion Newland of Kemp; daughters Kathy Peters and husband David of Arlington and Debby Erwin and husband of Henry of Fort Worth; brother James L. Newland and wife Sandra of Shreveport, La.; grandsons Jason Peters and wife Heather of Pottstown, Pa., Brian Peters and wife Margaret of Crowley and Craig Erwin and wife Sissy of Fort Worth; granddaughters Lauren Koenig and husband Allen of Fort Worth and Dana Erwin of Fort Worth; great-granddaughter Morgan Peters of Pottstown, Pa.; great-grandsons Austin Peters of Pottstown, Pa. and Dillon Erwin of Fort Worth; and other numerous nieces and nephews.

W.C. "Bill" Jackson, 69, of Butler passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002 at his residence.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Capps Memorial Chapel.
Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Capps Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Don Suits II officiating. Interment will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield.
Pallbearers will be Dewayne Milligan, Don Milligan, Dr. Bruce Kennedy, Bill Goodman, Lee Lavargene and Jim Niven.
Mr. Jackson was born March 24, 1933 in Wooster. He was a lieutenant for 25 years and retired from the Baytown Police Department. He was a member of the NRA, was a U.S. Army veteran, and graduated from the 115th FBI Academy in 1976 in Quantico, Va. He was a member of Wooster Baptist Church and had lived in the Butler area for 10 years.
He was preceded in death by his son, James William Jackson; parents, Charlie and Kathleen Pruet Jackson; and sister, Charleen Adams.
Survivors include his wife, Valma Jackson of Butler; son, Scott Jackson of Butler; and brother, James Jackson of Baytown.

Rosie Lee McDade, 80, of Corsicana passed away Thursday Sept. 26, 2002 at her residence.
Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Taylor Memorial Church of God in Christ. Interment will follow at Woodland Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Robert Govan, Dwight McDade, Robert McDade Jr., Joseph Govan, Reginald Brown and Robert Witherspoon. Honorary pallbearers will be Keven McDade, Errick McDade, Peter Hill, Robert Sneed and Clifford Strain.
Mrs. McDade was born Feb. 29, 1922 in Babylon, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Tillie and Ada B. Tillie; and 11 children.
Survivors include her children, Jessie McDade Jr., Jackie McDade, Robert McDade, Frank McDade, Ira McDade, Joan Thompson, Rosie M. McDade, and Doris McDade Lee, all of Corsicana; sister, Bessie Smith of Corsicana; 56 grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Barbara Ruth Estes, 64, of Fairfield passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002 in Fairfield.

Ben Malone Price, 80, of Dallas passed away Thursday, Sept. 26, 2002 in Dallas.
Graveside services will be 3 p.m. today at New Pursley Cemetery with the Rev. Chet Brake officiating.
Mr. Price was born Dec. 30, 1921 in Merkel. He had been a foreman with the City of Dallas Water Department, employed by the city for 30 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II and occupied Japan for a total of six years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Price; mother, Alice Clemons Price; brothers, Lee Price and J.D. Price; and sister, Audra Mitchell.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Evelyn Price of Dallas; brothers, C.W. Price of Pursley, Buford J. Price of Bastrop and Raymond Earl Price of Houston; sister, Mary Alice Lewis of Corsicana; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Anderson was born Nov. 9, 1902 in Oakwood.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Posie Anderson; granddaughter, Dottie Foster; and brother, Sam Randle.
Survivors include her son, LayFette Jack Anderson of Streetman; grandsons, Gregory Foster, Murray Foster, and Paul Franklin Foster, all of San Diego, Calif.; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
