Vada Mae Lisenbee, 85, of Granbury died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006. Born Sept. 4, 1920, in Hamlin to Clyde and Mary Etta Benham. Lisenbee was a retired nurse
She was preceded in death by her husband, R.P; sister, Myrte Evatt and brother, Stanley Benham.
Survivors include daughter, Melinda Kay Duncan of Rockwall; sons, Michael Lisenbee of Granbury, Timothy Lisenbee of Jayton and Anthony Lisenbee of Weatherford; 10 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Vera Proffitt of Little Rock, Ark. and Marie Maddox of Brock; and brothers, Gailard Benham of Weatherford, Ellis Benham of Bridgeport and Kenneth Benham of Spring Branch.
Visitation: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 14, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home.
Funeral service; 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 15, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel.

Anna Lee Sportsman
Anna Lee Sportsman, 72, died at her home in Weatherford after a lengthy fight with cancer. She was a homemaker, retired secretary and attended Bethesda United Methodist Church in Garner.
The daughter of Homer Douglas and Hazel King, she is survived by her husband, Carol G. Sportsman; daughters, Anita Gene Hankins of Knoxville, Tenn., and Cheri Diane Johnson of Blue Springs, Mo.; sister, Juanita Snyder of Mo.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 13, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug 14, at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Ben R. Cooper
Ben R. Cooper, 44, a son, husband and father, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006. He was born Oct. 4, 1961, in Baytown, the son of George Edgar and Minnette Lorraine Hoffpauir Cooper. He was a J.S.F. Radar Integration and Test Lead for Lockheed Martin.
Cooper is preceded in death by his mother, Minnette Lorraine Cooper, in 1999 and brother, Mark Edgar Cooper, in 2002.
Survivors include wife, Laura Ann Cooper; son, Russell Wayne Cooper; daughter, Calli Danielle Cooper, all of Aledo; father, George Edgar Cooper and wife, Mary Ellen Cooper of Alvin; parents-in-law, William Edward and Shirley Ann Tacquard of Alvin.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at First Baptist Church of Aledo.
The family received guests from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11 at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.

Barbara Jane Prine
Barbara Jane Prine, 62, a retired day care worker, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, in Weatherford. She was born Oct. 4, 1943, the daughter of Merle and Daisy Adams Sperber, in Anadarko, Okla.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dalhart Prine, and her parents.
Survivors include daughters, Charlotte Prine of Austin, and Billie Conner and husband, Bradley of Commerce; grandson, Gabriel Conner; brothers, Merle Sperber, Jr. of Ga. and Gary Sperber of Weatherford; sisters, Shirley Francis and Linda Sperber, both of Fort Worth and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 12 - 7 p.m, on Friday, Aug. 11 at White's Funeral Home; family was present from 5 - 7 p.m.
Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Luke Carter Tingey
Luke Carter Tingey, 23, of Springtown died Sunday, August 6, 2006 in a Fort Worth hospital.
Born November 28, 1982 in Fort Worth, he was a life long resident of Springtown. Luke was a member of Chapel Creek Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, a 2001 graduate of Springtown High School, an excellent chef, artist and father.
Survivors include a daughter, Samantha Allison Tingey of Saginaw; parents, Myron and Marilyn Tingey of Springtown and sisters Jill Bailey and husband, Saxon of Springtown, Amanda Livingstone and husband Scott of Calgary, Canada, Tara Settle and husband Mark of Acworth, Georgia and Ellie Tingey of Logan, Utah.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2006 in the Chapel Creek Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Visitation will be held from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at the church. Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Barbara Ann Brewer Kennemur
Barbara Ann Brewer Kennemur, 57, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died on Tuesday, August 1, 2006.
Kennemur was born on August 18, 1948 in Lorraine, Texas, the daughter of Melverna Forbus and Jack Brewer. She was a talented artist who loved gardening and was an avid crappie fisherman.
She is survived by her husband, Danney Kennemur of Aledo; one son, Stacy Kennemur and wife, Stephanie; one daughter, Debra Kennemur; grandsons, Cole and Reese Kennemur; two brothers, M.H. “Bo” Brewer and wife, Donna, Terry Brewer and wife, Nancy; two sisters, Anita Hurst and husband, Stephen, Terresa Candelaria; niece, Scarlet Brewer; nephews, Travis Brewer, Stance Hurst, Eric Hurst, Aaron McKnight; and numerous friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, August 4, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Aledo.
Arrangements were handled by White’s Funeral Home.
