Eric James Yerina
Eric James Yerina, 46, of Aledo died Saturday, July 29, 2006, in Aledo. Born January 28, 1960, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a resident of Parker County for several years.
Yerina was a general manager for NEC Unified Solutions, Inc. for the past year. He was also a member of (WAM) Weatherford Aeromodeling Society and (AICPA) American Institute of Public Accountants and the Rotary Club of Weatherford, where he was Rotarian of the Year 2005.
He received his BBA magna cum laude, Accounting and MIS from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio in 1984 and became a CPA Certified Public Accountant in 1984.
During his life, Yerina received the IBM Leadership Excellence Award in 1998, Golden Circle Member in 1996 and a graduate of Business Management Institute for fast-track executives.
Yerina is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Pendrey Yerina and father, James A. Yerina.
Survivors include wife, Sandra J. Yerina of Aledo, son, Nicholas “Cole” J. Yerina of Aledo, sisters, Barbara Brucker of Cincinnati, Ohio and Susan Schwietering of Cincinnati, Ohio, and step-mother, Anita M. Yerina of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Memorial service: 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 3, at Eric’s residence, located at 1701 W. Farm Road 5, Aledo.

Bennie Lovetta Cupo
Bennie Lovetta Cupo, 79, of Weatherford, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006, in a Fort Worth hospital. Born September 20, 1926, in Childress, she was a resident of Parker County for many years. Cupo was a homemaker.
Survivors include daughters, Marianna Kinz of Rochester, N.Y., Carole Cupo of Rochester, N.Y., Sheila Duff of Weatherford; sister, Addie B. Johnsen of Weatherford; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.

James Curtis Hamilton
James Curtis Hamilton, 78, of San Antonio, died Sunday, July 30, 2006. He was born Jan. 12, 1928, in Galveston, the son of James Holland and Eva Mae Hamilton. Hamilton was raised in Weatherford, and attended the University of Texas, graduating with a degree in engineering. He retired from Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Ga.
Hamilton is survived by his children, Bruce Holland Hamilton and wife, Xochitl Hamilton of Corpus Christi; Richard Curtis Hamilton and wife, Bonnie Hamilton of Gainesville, Ga.; Michele Rene Hamilton of Gaithersburg, Md.; three grandchildren, Holland Hamilton, Bruce Hugito Hamilton and Misty Leigh Hamilton.
Graveside service: 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, in the East Greenwood Cemetery, Weatherford.
William Arval Graham
William Arval Graham, 91, of Weatherford, died Sunday, July 30, 2006, in a local nursing facility. Graham was born in Cleburne on Sept. 5, 1914. He lived and worked in Fort Worth until 1974, when he moved to Weatherford. He was an active member of the Amateur Radio Club for many years.
Survivors include wife, Irabelle Graham of Weatherford; son, Larry Graham and wife, Leticia; daughter, Carol Waldrop and husband, Kenneth; step-daughters, Karen Genz and husband, Vince, Sharen Culver and husband, Norman, Holly Marshall and husband, Ron, Walkene Fellows and husband, Ray; four granddaughters; 11 step-grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2, in the Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne.

Mollie Gertrude Hacker
Mollie Gertrude Hacker, 96, of Plano, died Monday, July 24, 2006, at her residence in Dayspring Assisted Living facility. Born July 29, 1910, in Megargel, she was a resident of the North Texas area, including Weatherford, Mesquite, Bowie and Plano, for the majority of her life. Prior to being restricted by health concerns, Hacker participated in Bible studies, hymn singing and enjoying the company of the staff and residents of Dayspring.
Hacker was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Nancy Sanderson; husband, Dan Hacker; sisters, Eda Pearl, Audra and Opal; brothers, Jim, Frank, Jess and Tom and a daughter, Billye Lippincott.
Survivors include daughter, Peggy Church of Plano; sons, Jim Hacker and wife, Anne of Houston, Dan Hacker and wife, Linda of Plano; 10 Grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with Chaplain Dwane Owens officiating.
Interment: East Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation: 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 27, at the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Home.

Sammie J. Scoggins Clark
Sammie J. Scoggins Clark, 75, died Monday, July 24, 2006. She was born Oct. 5, 1930, in Temple, the daughter of Jack and Othelia Hindman Scoggins.
Clark was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Clark; and brother, Keith Scoggins.
She is survived by her sons, Al Burt of Weatherford, Carl Burt and wife, Dona of Fort Worth, Tim Burt of Fort Worth; daughter, Debbie Higgins and husband, Barry of Allen; four grandchildren; brothers, Harless Scoggins and wife, Bea of Weatherford and Larry Scoggins and wife, Earlene also of Weatherford, as well as a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service: 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26, at White's Chapel of Memories in Weatherford.
Burial: Zion Hill Cemetery, Weatherford.
Clark will lie in state from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 25, at White's Funeral Home in Weatherford.
